It was great. Our guide, Eduardo, was excellent. Spoke fluent English and Spanish and gave info in both. Knew about history and areas, answered all questions, made us feel safe, was patient, gave tips on other things to do and places to go and how to get there without being a salesman. Just helpful. Super nice young man. Lots of smiles and laughs while seeing and learning about Panama. On request they also picked us up from Playa
Bonita at our resort. Only a little bit extra and did not ask for anything more. Our driver, whose name I am sorry to say I forgot, was amazing. Quiet and focussed on the road which was great cuz the roads are super busy with everyone going every which way. He did it expertly and fast. I would highly recommend booking with them. Also, if you want to be dropped off at a spot along the way and go from there on your own - that’s ok too. Some people on the bus did that. Ooh - DO see the movie at Mileflores lock. EXCELLENT... the guides were very professional, friendly and fun. the tour was wonderful. It is the first time we traveled to Panama and we loved it, we met all the places indicated in the itinerary and the tour ended at the albrook mall.

Not worth the money! The guide provided information in Spanish 90 percent of the time. He was talking about politics which made me uncomfortable. He was not engaging, we had to keep on asking questions. The bus was so loud, it was a waste of my time in Panama. Worst tour I’ve been using Viator.

Juan was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. However, we were not informed that the tour was bi-lingual, with everyone else being Spanish speakers. We felt we didn't get the full picture that the others did. Juan was lovely and tried to make it as equal as possible, not always successfully.

Juan made our experience unforgettable. We learned so much and saw the not so traveled path of Panama City as well (such as the administration building). We had a private tour so we were able to spend the time how we wanted. We skipped the movie at the canal to spend more time in Old Town.

The canal part is amazing but if you can find another way to go then do so. The tour started badly in that the pick up was confirmed at my hotel then less than 24hrs ( so couldn’t cancel for a refund) was told that we needed to get a taxi to a pick up location it’s not the money as very cheap but just annoying make it clear when you are booking. The main language was Spanish ( shame that wasn’t made 100% clear when booking) the tour also was disjointed a few people on the tour didn’t now what the next stop was. The canal part was just a drop off and pick up hence a taxi would have done. The remainder of the trip felt like it was just padding out the tour. The actual English guide was pleasant enough but the Spanish guide took over we appreciate we are in a Spanish speaking country but overal not the best experience considering all the other tours we have previously booked

This tour is operated as a shared tour, which means that pickup times, stops, and meeting points are pre-established. In Panama City, there are more than 200 hotels, so it is not operationally possible to offer hotel pickups for all locations, as this would significantly extend the pickup time and negatively affect the overall tour experience. For this reason, designated meeting points are used, and these are clearly indicated at the time of booking. In your case, you were informed in advance that your hotel was not within the available pickup locations.
The estimated pickup window for shared tours is approximately 35 minutes. Offering individual pickups would make it impossible to keep the tour on schedule.
Regarding language, the tour is conducted in both Spanish and English, as stated in the booking details. We apologize if Spanish commentary was more prominent at certain moments and for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I thought it was odd to take us to the canal and then make us pay $17.22 for the ticket. I thought the $45 should have included these admissions to the canal and film. If we hadn’t paid what were we to do there? Some travelers said their package included those things but my leader Juan said mine didn’t.😟

Pros: made all the promised stops plus a few more for photos. Lasted longer than expected (more than 5 hours)
Cons: I learned very little about Panama or Panama City from the guide. Wikipedia is much, much better. I learned the basics about the Panama Canal from the guide and the rest from the movie at the locks. No ships were in the canal while we were there. The guide said one thing in Spanish then contradicted himself when he said what was supposed to be the same thing in English. The “artisanal market” was really just a few booths selling souvenirs. It would have been cheaper and almost as useful to Uber it to all those places, even as a solo traveler. Sad.

It was great to an extent except for not being able to see any ship passing through the locks. My advice is to change the order of the sights to coincide with this event. If there is no ship at 8.30am then visit the canal at 1.00pm to give your guests that experience. I and my family were really disappointed and thought that it was money wasted. On the other hand your explanations were fantastic and you did excellent. Consider my suggestion. Thank you.

The tour was overall okay, and the guide was very friendly and endeavoured. However, I have to note that we were mainly at the Panama Canal. There was only a short stop in Casco Viejo as well as a photo stop overlooking the city. The other stops given in the tour description were unfortunately only shown in passing without us really stopping there.

The experience was good. Very knowledgeable tour guide. Kind and helped us take pictures. The bus was OK. I suggest they invest in a bigger one. The tour said they'd return us from our departure point on viator. We got dropped off by the mall. Not bad because I wanted to hop back there but it still wasn't what was agreed to. The canal has a time limit. The visit there didn't yield a ship going through or being a le to see the movie in its entirety. Great service and the marketplace for handmade goods was lovely. I bought a really cool knife and trinkets for my family. I got to see Casco Viejo which was also a grand experience. I would do it again.

The tour was missing components. We were able to see the canal in action which was cool. I feel we drove past interesting statues and landmarks that could have been substituted for the missing components. The bus was a little janky and not conditioned well enough in relation to the heat. The guide did his best to balance native speakers and English language speakers, I respected that... Overall, I don't think I would take this tour again.

The tour guide was poor did not do a good job. When we got to canal there were no vessels passing through cause we missed it. We only got a couple of minutes in the old town Casco Viejo could not walk anywhere he just let us out in square did not explain anything. You could have done it by yourself was a complete waste of money. He went to Allbrook mall twice he wanted to end the tour there instead of going back to hotel. It felt more of a taxi ride than a tour.

One of my friends left their expensive designer sunglasses in the tour guide's car, which he returned to Fascinating Adventures Travel S.A.
