SO much fun! This was our first rafting experience and I was a little nervous - I'm not a strong swimmer and we had our 14 and 11 year old boys with us. The safety talk got me a little worried, but it was just a blast. Our guide Ruby answered our questions and referred to points of interests. The 1pm slot was nice as the sun was out, but it was windy and we didn't see any wildlife. You can borrow wet suit jumpers, jackets and water boots to keep you warm - the water was freezing! Wear a bathing suit underneath and have a change of clothes for afterward - they have changing stalls onsite. Easy to find, easy to park, employees and guides were all super nice. Totally worth the cost - I would absolutely white water raft again!

This trip was a great start for white water rafting for my 8 and 10 year olds. The rapids were fun and exciting but not too much for them. Our guide, Josie, was terrific and let them play a swim game and even row! The trip to and from was quick and efficient. We had a great time!

It was very fun, although I feel like they should put in the description that customers are expected to carry the heavy raft down a windy, gravel hill. I was not expecting that and have weight lifting limitations, that was the most difficult part of the experience and I felt worn out before we even started. It would also be helpful if they specified what people should wear, and a little more descriptive of what they will be wearing/changing into, as it was a guessing game until we arrived at the meeting spot. I did Google what to wear for this type of activity and found a general answer there that was helpful. Totally fun though! Should just be a little more descriptive (for beginners) is my only complaint.

You can tell everyone loves their job and it’s a well oiled machine, staff is amazing. Mya is the coolest and worked well with the parents and kids on the trip with the low tides and providing fun. If you’re worried about kids, they are super accommodating. We even got a history lesson and tour and some info about the area. I can’t recommend this enough.

The trip was very well organized. The water is very cold high 40s. They supply you with everything needed including wet suits and booties. This is about two hours on the river and a 10 minute drive each way. The trip is very well organized. We had a high of mid-level 3 rapids. They have clean bathrooms and changing rooms. I highly recommend this for all ages, assuming they’re in decent shape.

Our Yellowstone rafting adventure was one of the highlights of our trip! The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and the river provided the perfect mix of excitement and relaxation. Very well-organized and efficient. The guides were very helpful and fun to talk to. The rapids were just right for our 12- and 15-year olds. Have one or two spots to jump out and swim if you want to. Wet suits were super helpful with the cold water! Abbey was our guide and she was great!

Wonderful experience! Wet suits and jackets were provided, stuff were awesome esp our guide Bo who was funny, caring and kept us engaged the entire time. Went to parents in their 60s and he made sure Mom felt safe. One star less for not spotting any wild animals along the river.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the Yellowstone River. Excellent ride down the Yellowstone River for us who had never been white water rafting before in our lives ranging from 19 to 65. He took the time to learn about us and where to place each in the boat. Best adventure ever and we will all be talking about it for a long time to come! Highly recommended!

Great for first-time rafters! Rougher waters are at the start (fun!), but it slows down about halfway through and doesn’t really pick up again. You may be a little bored by the end If you’re more experienced, but it was good for us! Our guide was Brian, he was awesome! He chatted with us the whole way and gave us some great rafting recommendations as well. He bumped it up to 5 stars!

I highly recommend Montana Whitewater. They were extremely helpful in planning which trip suited our comfort level and we couldn't have been happier. We (3 adults) took a private trip, meaning you raft with other people, but have your own guide and raft. Our guide, Emily, was personable and knowledgable, explaining what we were seeing and helping novice paddlers like us throughout the trip. She was also great at pointing out wildlife (we saw 2 bald eagles) and other important features along the river. Everything was very well organized from the beginning (getting outfitted with the proper gear and safety instructions) to the end. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We didn’t realize the wet suits were seasonal. So I didn’t bring the best clothes for the trip. Carrying the boat to the water was not expected wearing the “boots” provided and a little hard (we had 2 children in our group). Our guide was AWESOME!! The trip was fun and relaxing with beautiful scenery. All the staff were professional and very accommodating.
