We had a wonderful experience with our guide Rex. He took us to the animal park first where we got a private tour with a guide. Next we visited the Roatan sign, shopped, then went to the chocolate and rum stores. He was nice enough to make one extra stop to a local restaurant before returning us to our resort. Rex was kind, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to.

So much fun! Edward was our driver and he was wonderful! My husband is handicapped and the first thing Edward did was rearrange the schedule to meet his needs. When we got to the sloths and monkeys, he got a wheelchair for him. We got to play with the sloths, monkeys and parrots! Soooo cool! The chocolate factory was awesome and we learned a lot about chocolate! We also got to taste many different chocolates. Very yummy! The rum place had samples of rum cake as well as rum. Delicious! Left with 2 bottles of rum. He took us to 3 places that had spectacular views. Edward also took pictures of us wherever we went, so sweet! Would highly recommend this tour!

We had an amazing experience with our guide. She was very informant of the area and never rushed us to get from point A to point b. We made it back to the ship with more than enough time. Communication with the company was extremely quick and even late at night they answered within 15 to 20 minutes. I booked the night before less than 12 hours in advance and they were aware of my reservation. It was a little hard to find them at first, just go out of the Port after the taxis and you will see a million people with signs for tours. You just have to walk down that line until you find the company which there are more than just one driver for that company. They drove safely on the road, gave us ample time to sightsee and even added in a few extra bends on our trip to see the local affairs.

We had an absolutely incredible time on the Roatan Wildlife Monkey and Sloth Tour! Our guide Keisy was beyond amazing. It was a private tour and he really tailored the day to us. Plus, he took us to local spots to try jerk chicken and oxtails which were absolutely delicious! The Monkey and Sloths are a must see in Honduras. Every moment was filled with laughter, wonder, and so many beautiful memories we’ll cherish forever. If you’re ever in Roatan, you need to book this tour!

Tyra was super receptive to the the needs of the group. It was a family trip and my aunt and mother stamina isn’t always great. She was extremely flexible and friend and knowledgeable about her island. We visited a shopping center with great photo ops, native animal tour, chocolate sampling, rum sampling. we got some rum cakes. The tour was intimate and we had a bunch of fun, we started at 10 local and was back with plenty of time to explore the port.

I booked the tour to start at 10am, but I didn't know the ship time and the local time was different for MSC. So the tour company called me at 10:15am ship time as I thought I still had time for the local 10am tour. Local time was 1 hour before the ship's time, that was very confusing for me. As I didn't get internet on the ship I had to take the phone call which cost me another $18. I guess that's just travel expense. Anyone taking MSC Seascape should watch out for the time difference, need to go with the ship's time. Roatan is not a big place so we were lucky to have a private tour just me and my mom. Our first stop was to see the animals. I can't remember the name of the place, I think it's either Vincent or Victor something. Our guide Irwin I believe took us to see the monkeys first. They really loved to eat the coconut bits, climbed all over my shoulders. My mom enjoyed less as one money got some red thing on her shirt which couldn't wash out after. :D Then we got personal with some parrots. They sat on our heads. At least my mom had her hat on. When the parrot tried to get off my head, it hurt a little bit because of the claws, so I suggest anyone joining the tour should wear hat. The animal place is not too big, we saw a bunch of sloths just chilling, it's easier to take pictures with the sloths as they don't really move. LOL. I saw peacocks, turkey, deer, more monkeys and parrots. Irwin was informative about the animals in the sanctuary. Afterwards the driver took us to the chocolate making place. The chocolate was pretty good. Then we went to the rum cake shop and bought a rum cake for souvenir. The driver explained a lot about the island and we pretty much chatted the entire trip. It's a shorter tour compared to other cruise ports but I still enjoyed a lot with the private experience.

Nothing felt rushed, nothing was too much and he was especially very welcoming to our two children aged 7 and 13. Had a wonderful tour guide, Stanley. He was very informative and also went above and beyond assisting one member who had mobility challenges. We have never done an excursion outside of the cruise sponsored excursions so we were a bit nervous, but it was well organized and we felt in good hands by our guide. We made it back to the ship in no time! We had a great time and would definitely do it again.

OUTSTANDING! One of the absolute best excursions I have ever done. It was just the 3 of us and our tour guide, Tiffany. She knew all the island's history and never rushed us. The Monkeys and sloths were much better than we had hoped for. Our guide made sure we got to interact with all the birds and animals. It was a beautiful experience. Tiffany took us to some great stops, and we got to do some shopping. I would 100% recommend this tour and this company.

When I booked this, I had no idea it would be a private tour. It was OUTSTANDING! I HIGHLY recommend this. I promise you that you will not be disappointed. Our tour guide was born and raised on island, and told us so many interesting facts. She answered all our questions and showed us places we never would have seen. The monkeys and sloths were so great! We did some great shopping after at different locations. She never rushed us. Always said to take our time. Offered to stop along the way to take photos. Seeing the sloths and the other animals was amazing. The chocolate and rum factory tours were disappointing and not worth the long hot drive. Our driver was atrocious. He yelled at other drivers, called and yelled at someone on the phone 2x and was not a great tour guide providing us with very little information about his country.

Getting off the ship and looking for a Viator representative was scary. A lot of taxi drivers trying to get you to go with them. Almost gave up. Finally found a tour operator that had our information on a clipboard. They had a different tour operator name on their t-shirt. The shirt was blue and white. We had to walk down a back road to get to their personal vehicle. Not what I was expecting. I thought there would be a van with the Viator name on it. Our tour operator was very nice and did a great job. Sorry, but I don't remember her name.

We had a great time on the excursion. The wildlife sanctuary was fun. We got a lot of pictures. The rum and chocolate tastings were okay and we ended up buying some chocolate. Irwin at the Zoo was a wonderful guide and had a special relationship with the monkeys and parrots we visited. The Sloths are now protected from too many people handling them but we did see a Mother and baby sloth and a sister. What a treat . Would recommend the tour and ask for Irwin. He made it a special excursion. Our driver Tara in Roatan was very knowledgeable and informative of the local history and culture. We stop for Chocolate and rum tasting. Chocolate was explained in detail about how it is harvested and processed. Wonderful day trip and well recommended.

Private excursion! What a great experience. Our private driver was fabulous. Took us on our tour. We didn’t get any history information about Roatan but we didn’t ask any questions either. He just drove us to our destinations. Driver was friendly and on time and dropped us off with plenty of time left before the ship sailed away. Car was clean. We had an absolutely unforgettable experience on the Roatan Wildlife Monkey, Sloth Tour, and a huge part of that was thanks to Josh, our incredible guide and the owner of the company. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless, especially since we were traveling with small kids. The meeting point was right at the port entrance, which made things so easy and stress-free; no long walks or confusion, just a smooth start to a fantastic day. Josh was punctual, professional, and immediately made us feel welcome with his friendly and upbeat personality! What really stood out was how much he cared about our experience. Even though we chose to skip the rum tasting since we don’t drink, he still took us to the location, and we’re so glad he did because the views there were absolutely breathtaking. It turned out to be one of the most scenic spots on the island, overlooking the stunning water and surrounding landscapes. Josh went so above and beyond by even adding an extra scenic stop just so we could take in more of Roatan’s natural beauty. His knowledge of the island, combined with his genuine enthusiasm, made the entire tour both informative and enjoyable. He made sure everything ran smoothly and that we were comfortable every step of the way. If you’re visiting Roatan, I can’t recommend this tour, and especially Josh, highly enough. He truly made our day special, and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip!!! 100/10 definitely recommend and we would definitely book with him again!!

Our driver Christian was so kind and informative, telling us facts about the island while driving us to our locations. Seeing and holding the animals was so fun, they are so friendly and gentle. Afterwards our driver told us about a beach and after hearing him talk about it we decided to do the beach instead of the chocolate factory, the beach was an additional $25 per person but the we were brought to a beach front resort with plenty of lounge chairs and the softest sand and clearest water!!! It was so beautiful and the perfect day for the beach. On the drive back to our Cruise Ship our driver stopped at a stand on the side of the road to have us try a local food — it was DELICIOUS. We also mentioned that we wanted to try some coffee and he took us to a small cafe and we had the best coffee. Overall everything was great, our driver was super accommodating and helped make the best of our time on the island
