What a perfect way to see Tucson! I had some friends visiting from San Francisco and it was their first time in Tucson. Of all the things we did, they said this was the highlight of their trip! The price was reasonable, the bikes were adorable and fun to ride, and the route was fantastic. I've lived in Tucson for 10 years and I still learned a lot and discovered new places I want to go back to. I think our arts community (and especially our murals) are a treasure; I'm grateful to get to show off my town in this unique way. Lorraine (our guide) was super informative and very kind. I'd absolutely do it again (and again!)

We decided to combine our love of biking with our love of local historic visits. Our tour of downtown Tucson was leisurely and informative. It was worth while touring the city on bikes rather than doing a walking tour.
Our tour guide took us out on single speed bikes, making several stops in the 8-mile loop. We saw many murals that were painted over the past 30 years and several historic houses constructed over the past 150 years. We also took in buildings that were built in the late 1800's to early 1900's. Many have been updated or restored for use in this millennia.
Tucson is a very bike friendly city. Even though there are designated bike lanes on busy streets, our tour guide planned a route that traveled neighborhoods, away from traffic. She also brought us down city bike trails that passed popular park areas and monuments.
Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, spending ample time sharing Tucson's history with the two of us. She also understands building architecture and how the construction has changed over the past 150 years. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves.

My sister and I did this bike tour and loved every minute. Lorraine was friendly, helpful, and so knowledgeable. We felt very safe and Lorraine always let us know where we were going. I haven’t been on a bike for several years, but felt comfortable. The terrain is flat so the one-speed bikes worked fine. I highly recommend this fun 2.25 hour tour of Tucson’s fabulous murals.

this is a great way to see a variety of neighborhoods in such an easy way. almost no hills of any sort. as a senior, that was a real plus. the murals were varied. so many different designs and artists and colors. we found out information on the artist, style, and a bit more information. learned a bit about tucson also. the guide went above and beyond for me as i was having trouble with my phone. not only did she set up my uber ride, she also waited with me until it arrived. hugs to her for helping me out!

We thoroughly enjoyed our bike tour with Lorraine. Learning about the beautiful murals, the neighborhoods surrounding downtown, and some of the history of Tucson made the time fly by. Lorraine has laid out an interesting route that makes for easy pedaling. She is very helpful with her instructions and makes navigating the area simple. This is a nice way to explore the area. We’re definitely going to try the taco tour next time since everywhere we rode we smelled delicious food cooking.

We enjoyed the tour--so many great murals to see! Lorraine was a super guide, and was able to tailor the tour to our group, since our family of 4 were the only folks on that excursion. We appreciated learning about the murals, the artists, and other interesting information about downtown Tucson. Just a few things kept it from being perfect--the meeting location is a little hard to find. There are a lot of starts and stops; if you like to just ride for a while, this is challenging. And as finances allow, the bike seats could be upgraded a bit (several of us found them uncomfortable). But on the whole, we really enjoyed the afternoon. Would recommend!

This tour is a MUST if you’re in or anywhere near Tucson. Our guide, Lorraine, was an easy-going and friendly expert who shared so much about the city’s landmarks, neighborhoods, and architecture that it was like getting several tours in one. The scale and beauty of these murals is ineffable, and driving by them in a car just doesn’t compare to standing beneath them and seeing them on a bike. There truly are too many to count and so many to see. As an out-of-towner from the east coast, I found the tour to be an incredible way to see the city and sense it’s many unique areas in a way only bicycling with a true local can provide. I feel like I now know Tucson in a way that would’ve been impossible without this tour, and Lorraine’s Mexican restaurant suggestion led me to a brilliant lunch after about 2.5 hours of cruising this beautiful city. Book today! You won’t be disappointed.

My daughter had given my wife and I a gift certificate for Tucson Bike Tours. We had some friends in from PA and decided to take the Murals Tour to show off one of the neat aspects of our home. The whole process of booking online was easy and emails and texts gave us all the info we needed. Our guide Jim was fantastic! He texted early the morning of the tour and had all the bikes and gear ready when we pulled into the lot. Sign a quick release and make a short test ride and off we went. Jim led us to many of the best murals in the downtown and nearby neighborhoods, even many we'd never seen in the years we've lived here. He kept us all safe and shared his knowledge and enthusiasm for the city and the art. Absolutely top-notch. My wife and I may need to try out the others tours!

This was a super fun activity to do with friends while visiting Tucson! Jim did a good job of setting us up with bikes and helmets that fit and he made the ride pretty low stress through our tour of the city and some of its beautiful murals. I was concerned about navigating city traffic but our guide Jim kept us all together and safe. I was impressed with all of the murals that we got to see and the bits of history that were added by Jim along the way. I also appreciated that we were given time to take pictures along the way. I never would have seen half of what Jim showed us if I did it on my own and would not have gotten the great stories of those murals on my own. On my next trip to Tucson I would love to take one of the other bicycle tours that they offer!

I booked both the Historic and Murals tours. Both were worth the price, had a great time. Guide (Jim) is knowledgeable and patient. Turns out that Tucson is best seen by bike! I felt I really got to know the town better than all the driving around I had already done.
The murals are gorgeous and I highly recommend if you enjoy that sort of thing.

I did this tour with Rob at the end of my trip to the area.

The Tucson Mural Bike tour is great! Rob is super nice and has substantial knowledgeable about the mural and artists. I received an email the day before our tour including all the details about location, parking, and the weather, which is very helpful for us. It was a good tour. Bikes, helmets and water provided. Rob Wasson knowledge, entertained questions and gave good suggestions. It was a HOT day—- ride was pretty flat. The heat was the challenge. We took Robs suggestion—had dinner and a beer at Barrio Brewery . Even tried that Saguaro dog!!! Thanks!!!
