We had a fantastic time touring Panama City, and we lucked out with one of the best guides--Eric, who everyone seemed to know. We covered the historic sites, learned a lot of history, and visited the Panama Canal IMAX theater and saw a huge cargo ship passing through the canal. The private tour gives you a lot more time to see and do things. Highly recommended.

We did a private tour with Louis our guide who was very accommodating. We did not realize that we were going to hike up the hillside to the top to see the flag but Louis let us pace ourselves. The view was spectacular well worth the hike. We then went through Casco Viejo & stopped at a restaurant for lunch which was delicious. Off to the Geisha coffee shop where we sampled different coffees & had complimentary rum coffee delicious then off to the Panama Canal. A wonderful experience with Louis.

This tour was very good and the guide Levy Enrique was outstanding....the best. Suggested improvement: The description of the Miraflores locks is not correct. The Visitor Center is not open to the public, it is under renovation for the last 2 years. Only the IMAX movie is open to the public and the observation deck. I think you should correct your description. I was looking forward to seeing the museum.

Fantastic day. An early start but in an air conditioned mini bus. Our guide provided the tour in French and English. Very knowledgeable and covered all questions on multiple topics regarding panama and the canal. Lunch in the old town was great. The experience was executed by Panama Your Way, and our guide and driver was Aldo Esteban. As the tour was private, we were able to adjust and visit the places at our own pace. Lovely Panama, but I can not fail to highlight the valuable guide of Aldo, who can not hide his vein of professor. He explained a lot about the history, culture, places, heroes and antiheroes, momentous details of Panama, which left us really expectant and eager to come back in the future.

We met our guide, Aldo, as soon as we got out of the terminal. Aldo immediately made some suggestions that would allow us to everything, but avoid crowds and save time. We saw the locks, mAX movie, rode over America’s bridge, Rod Carew baseball stadium, local neighborhoods, old town Panamá and more. We saw lots of traffic, but Aldo knew shorty cuts so it was much easier. Highly recommend Panama Your Way.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Orlando loved being a tour guide and delivered along the way from taming a troop of Capuchin monkeys to feeding four Tamarind monkeys. Lots of Howlers seen plus many bird species. The monkey islands (there are many) was a treat as were the snail kites, hummers at Gamboa Nature preserve, Coatis, the small capybaras, and eventually the solitary sloth. Bonus: parceled-off primo parking at his favorite restaurant in downtown Panama City. Couldn’t get any better than that spot or the meal. Well Worth the price and a wonderful experience!

During my long stay over in Panama City, Panama we decided leave the airport and go sightseeing around the city and especially the magnificent Panama Canal. OMG we had the greatest time and the most memorable experience in the city thanks to our tour guide and now our friend Eric Martinez. We went up and beyond to help us with a friend that arrived late to the city. He manage all the necessary for our friend to join us in our tour. Eric made us feel welcome and yearing to come back and bring more friends to spend more time in the city, not just during a layover. Aldo was the tour guide. He’s very knowledgeable and friendly. I learned so much about Panama from Aldo. I highly recommend him.

A fantastic tour around Panama City, including the Panama Canal. Aldo was extremely knowledgeable, very accommodating, and was a pleasure to deal with. He stuck with us at every site (even as most guides left) to explain every detail. Perhaps the best guide I've had anywhere. The tour was comprehensive of the must-see sites for a short visit.

This was a very good and educative tour of Panama. It was also decently priced. Seeing the Panama Canal and experiencing the action was defining. To top it, having Eric as a guide was AWESOME. He was flexible and knowledgeable about the City. He had good suggestions and recommendations in general. I would recommend this tour over and over again to anyone visiting Panama.

Words cannot express the amazing experience I had visiting Panama and going on this full day tour of Panama City. Our guide Erik, shared an abundance of knowledge with us about the country of Panama as a whole, and was well versed on the history Panama City. He was very accommodating when I suggested a Jamaican restaurant for lunch, which turned out to be great and he also planned our day tour perfectly, so we had more than enough time at the Panama Canal to watch the ship channeling though, which was AMAZING to watch. Overall visiting Panama was an awesome experience and I will never forget it!!!

Wow! I highly recommend booking an excursion with Panama your way! The bisite of Monkey Island was fantastic as well as the old town and canal. A francophone guide, Edwing who explained very well, he was excellent! Everything was perfect for a very affordable price!

We observed monkeys, alligators and crocodiles in the heart of lush wildlife. We admired the canal, explored the old town and discovered the impressive locks. An unforgettable day! Edwing, the French-speaking guide, answered all our questions well, he was fantastic.

Definitely not worth the money. They were on time picking us up that is good. Tjoriginal guide got off the bus midway to the city. We then picked up our guide in the city. Our first stop was to a bathroom where the locations manager proceeded to scream at us and made us leave. A church (lovely) 2 bombed out convents 2 souvenir shops and a liquor store and the morning was pretty much done. No real stories or histories. The tour was in English and French ..but not the same for each. Being bilingual my daughters translated a lot of it for the francophone on the tour. Lunch was good but remember it is not included in the price. The canal was an experience we were glad we had. The IMAX movie and watching a boat traverse was fantastic. It was there out guide left us with the driver and we returned to our hotels. My advise is read and reread what you are booking. We intended on booking the day trip that included monkey Island. We did not get that. We were told we would see the Panama sign and no one on the tour at our hotel remembers seeing it but the rep insists we did. Was quite expensive for what we got. The rep argues that it is thr cheapest tour company and I guess upu get what you pay for spend the extra 20 dollars and use another company. There are options.

To clarify, the tour you reviewed (Full Day Panama City Sightseeing & Canal Tour with Private Guide) is not the one you booked. You booked a bilingual group tour from Playa Blanca, which, being two hours from the city, follows a different itinerary and logistics. We always encourage guests to carefully review tour details before booking, as all itineraries are clearly described on our website. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible if the wrong tour is selected. Speaking of logistics and regarding the guide, the first person on the bus was NOT a guide, rather a tour coordinator to welcome guests and explain the schedule. The official guide always joins in Panama City. As for the Panama Sign, it was included in the tour, and we even have photos of your group in front of it. We sincerely apologize for the bathroom incident—that’s not the kind of experience we want for our clients. That said, we’re glad you enjoyed the Canal experience and lunch. We hope you still took away great memories of Panama, and we appreciate your feedback. Safe travels!

We had a wonderful tour with Eric, an exceptional guide. We requested a change to the planned itinerary that morning. Eric accommodated and adopted the tour to meet our request. We enjoyed the great views of the canal and the wide variety of city sights, but our favorite was the Old Town. Eric provided just the right amount of history and background, and was able to answer all of our questions. We wanted local food for lunch and the recommendation was great. We felt that the tour gave us a good overview of this beautiful city, thanks to Eric. He spoke great English and had a wonderful sense of humor. He also took pictures of us throughout the day and later forwarded them to us.

Feel free to do business with them. Panama your way offers a very good service with guide speaking French and English. We visited the old part of Panama City with magnificent views of the cosmopolitan city. Cinema Imax on the construction of the Canal very interesting, view of the locks, boat ride on the Canal with visit to the monkey islands. I recommend that you encourage this company owned by Quebecers living in Panama

We went an a fabulous private tour led by Orlando! We went to the monkey islands, had a traditional lunch in the old city and visited the Panama Canal Visitors Center. This gave us an excellent introduction to beautiful Panama City and the Panama Canal. Orlando was VERY knowledgeable, had a good sense of humor, spoke perfect English and was very cognizant of some of our group’s mobility issues. We could not have asked for anything more. This was a 5 Star tour. The communication before the tour was top notch and all went seamlessly. I highly recommend Panama Your Way!!!

Carlos was friendly and helpful We loved the Mola Museum. I wanted to buy some so Carlos took us to find some original molas to buy. The Canal visit was perfectly timed. Totally enjoyable day!
