Enjoyable walking tour. Our guide "Nacho" was very friendly and knowledgeable. The "snack" was a large cheese empanada that was tasty. Be prepared for many flights of stairs.

Thanks Fran for all the interesting stories and answering all my questions. The historic centre was a real highlight. The bus was also always on time - clean and of a high standard. Also loved the walking tour-was great to have the city experience. The Chilean treats at the end were also a really nice touch. Would highly recommend. Muchas Gracias!!

Our guide Stephanie was very knowledgeable about the city and its history and pointed out places we’d never have found on our own. Then we drove to a modern market and had really good empanadas for lunch! Stephanie gave us lots suggestions for sights, restaurants and bars to visit on our own.

Loved the Santiago Half-Day Walking Tour! Started a bit late because guide was sick but Pablo (2nd guide) came to the rescue and couldn't recommend the tour enough! Pablo was very friendly, very knowledgeable and shown us lots of main little spots that we enjoyed going to and he peaks really well English too! We finished at one of the shopping centre where he treated us with their famous Empanada and drink. Lovely experience for me and my 2 friends. We recommended the tour to our other friends who arrived in Santiago later on the week. Highly recommend it ! Thank you Pablo (and Victor the driver!)

This tour was excellent value for money. I enjoyed it immensely. Our guide Antonio took us through an incredibly in depth history of Santiago and Chile in only 5 hours. We visited so many beautiful natural parks and significant buildings and places. The tour was organised in a very logical and easy to follow way. The walking pace was perfect. No rushing from on place to another. Antonio made sure we were always together. He was very diligent. Plenty of time to absorb the history and take photographs. Antonio explained everything clearly and with passion, and answered all of our questions. I love architecture and history and nature, so this tour was perfect for me. I enjoyed everything, including the food. The timing as also perfect for people with only a couple of days in this fascinating city. Thank you. I took many photos but have not added any because when I tried, everything froze.

I can’t recommend this tour highly enough. If you’re looking for more than just ticking off landmarks and actually want to understand Santiago, this is the one. A huge part of that is down to our guide, Nacho. His knowledge of the city is exceptional, but more than that, he brings it to life in a way that feels natural and engaging rather than scripted. You get history, culture, politics, and architecture - all woven together in a way that makes the city make sense. It genuinely felt like we were seeing Santiago through a local’s eyes. There were so many standout moments. The visit to the sustainable food court was a brilliant touch - something I’d never have found on my own and a great insight into modern Chilean culture. The cathedral was stunning, and the city-wide views from above really put everything into perspective. At one point, we even stumbled across a political rally, which added a completely unexpected and fascinating layer to the experience. Also worth mentioning Mati, our driver, who made everything run smoothly and comfortably behind the scenes. It all felt very well organised without ever feeling rigid. What I appreciated most is that this tour doesn’t feel like a checklist. It feels like an introduction to the soul of the city. If it’s your first time in Santiago, do this early in your trip - it will completely change how you experience everything that follows.

The communication prior to the tour regarding pick up and time was fantastic. Stephanie (guide) and Alex (driver) arrived at the appointed time and we were warmly welcomed. The bus was very comfortable and clean, Stephanie clearly articulated what we would be doing for the duration of the tour. The information provided was very good and also provided some other quirky facts about places in Santiago during the tour. Stephanie was very hospitable and happily answered questions on just about every topic the group thought of. We toured the sights, Stephanie provided all the details of the location and we had plenty of time to take in each location without being rushed. Alex was always ready and waiting for us at the next pick up after we had walked the sights. Noting the walking distance was easy for all levels of fitness. Without Stephanie’s local knowledge we would have never gone to the underground markets as we had not seen this in any tourist information. This is where we had snacks and refreshments which were local delicacies. The tour was fantastic with Stephanie and Alex making this a enjoyable and memorable tour of Santiago giving us a great start to our stay in the city.

It's a great way to see many sights in Santiago. The guide, Eduardo, was great and knowledgeable about the city. Make sure you have your walking shoes! In my opinion this is not a tour for those with trouble walking or handling steps/stairs.

I would rate our guide Nacho as one of the best guides (if not THE best) we have had anywhere in the world over 12 years of serious traveling. His ability to relate to all people on our tour (3 different nationalities) and his subject knowledge was first rate. Perfect English and a calm, unhurried, tour. I was originally concerned with it being a walking tour due to my wife's walking difficulties, but when she could not get off the 16-seater minivan to walk about, our wonderful driver Luis took her around and pointed out all the sights - she couldn't speak Spanish and he couldn't speak English, but she had a wow of a time! The tour was exactly as advertised, with a bit of unexpected extras. It was the explanations by Nacho which made the difference between a good tour and a great tour. We left our hotel at 7.30 am and were dropped off at 1 pm. I could not fault this tour - we saw so much and learnt so much about Chile, its history and its culture. Well done Stamp's Tour, Nacho and Luis - highly recommended.

The tour was very well structured and gave a lot to able to cover a lot of history of Chile as well as Santiago. Our driver Luis was driving slow when he could so we were able to have a good look at buildings and monuments. We really enjoyed the tour. The price of the tour was adequate. We stayed in Santiago for 3 days.

Fran's indepth knowledge of the area and ability to draw people out added greatly to our experience. I would encourage Stamps tour to coordinate the pickups a bit better. The driver had to cover a very large area that was difficult during rush hour!
