This excursion was exactly what my mom, who is in her 60s, and I were looking for. The walking is minimal and not too difficult. We got to see a lot but it didn’t feel overwhelming or too much. Our guide, Josh, was super helpful and informative. You can tell he really likes his job and people. Love that we had a small group of only 6 people, so our tour felt almost private. There were no hiccups or issues with anything; bus was on time for pickup and the tour followed the itinerary. 10/10!

People, do yourself a favor and do not book with this company! There are plenty of more friendly, reliable and customer-oriented companies in San Juan. First, we booked for December 2, 2025 and they canceled because they didn't have the minimum number of tourists. We agreed to reschedule to the next day, 12/03/25. They called in the morning to confirm the pick up and told us to be at Ocean Club at 8:55. When nobody showed up at 9:05, we started calling the company to inquire where the driver was, all nervous that we won't make it on time for the tour. Several minutes later, the owner called us back and said we couldn't be on the tour because "we yelled at the driver". He basically cursed us and canceled again. Just choose a different provider to avoid the disappointment on your vacation!

Your tour on December 2 was rescheduled at your own request after you agreed to move to the following day.
On December 3, our driver called you for two simple reasons:
To share his direct number for coordination.
To inform you he would be approximately 10 minutes delayed.
During this call, you raised your voice at the driver in a manner that violated our conduct standards. Our drivers and guides are trained professionals, and verbal aggression toward staff is not tolerated under any circumstances.
Although your pickup location was outside our normal service area, we still arranged it as a courtesy since you had been rebooked. Unfortunately, your behavior during the phone call left us no option but to refuse service, as we prioritize the safety and well-being of both guests and staff.
We are committed to providing respectful, safe, and enjoyable experiences. When a guest’s behavior breaches our conduct policy, we reserve the right to deny participation for the protection of our team and other guest.
We wish you well in your future travels.

Rafael was a great guide, super nice! You don’t really spend much time in the rainforest, just a very quick walk through and like 30 mins at a river which was a bummer if you were looking for a little bit of a hiking experience. Lots of time on the bus. Luquillo beach was beautiful and fun though! Best part

Overall, a nice excursion. We were lucky and were one of the last picked up at our hotel, so we didn't spend a lot of time picking up other travelers. That being said, we wasted time at a fruit stand waiting to meet up with other groups for the tour. Didn't realize we were heading to the fruit stand first and I had already eaten thus I had nothing to do there. The rainforest walk was an easy hike over a rock covered path. The swimming area was fun with the cliff jump and rope swing. Our tour guide of the rainforest gave some interesting information but it was a fairly short walk. Beach and restaurant area afterwards was nice. We had a great lunch at kiosk #1. Beach was basic, no umbrellas or chairs to rent and not enough time to actually spend at the beach.

The tour guide was nice, but there wasn’t much “Live-commentary and interpretations about the Ecosystem”. I really enjoyed the river swim, that was a lot of fun. I was expecting more nature like birds and animals of some kind. The walk was very short and there were lots of people at the river. The beach was pretty, but I wish we would’ve gone there first and then rinsed off in the river. Overall though the day was fun.

This was a really nice tour but I wish we would have seen more of the rain forest. We walked for about 10 minutes before getting to the water. The tour guide was really nice and knowledgeable.

Alex was so rude it was disgusting. My friend broke her toes the day before we came and he says that he will not pick us up. I said unless I’m refunded I’ll be there but then he denies the refund

Greetings everyone,
The safety of our guests and team always comes first. As a result, we make appropriate efforts, which include taking into account guests' requests, to assure the safety and comfort of all. This party was asking for scooter services because they had broken toes and were using a cast, allegedly. They were asking for a scooter to use in the Rainforest; this is not feasible or realistic. We informed the guest they cannot participate in the activity due to their already broken toes. Long story short, they appeared for the tour with no cast whatsoever. You will be amazed at the lengths some go through to get a refund.
We advise all guests to be certain of their booking before they reserve with us. However, if your circumstances change and you are unable to attend the tour, please contact us by no later than 24 hours prior to the tour. If the booking is cancelled with more than 24 hours in advance, you will be refunded in FULL, as stated in our policy and signed in the terms of agreement.

The most memorable part was the River experience and the beach. The nature walk was short and easy. We enjoyed the history provided by Martine on Puerto Rico. Nice stop for roadside food.

This is a beginners hike. Comfortable fir children and adults. Our guide, Martin, was kind and attentive. The river swim was nice, no waterfall - that’s another excursion. The eatery was a stand set up by locals and good food. We ate outside and then headed to the beach. The beach was very full as it is a popular tourist spot. Overall, it was a nice trip for my family. We arrived early to the forest which a voided slit of the crowds that arrived later.

Our tour guide Lewy was the Best! He told great stories and kept us entertained. The rainforest was nice and our kids loved jumping into the water and swinging on the rope into the water. It was a fun tour w/ a great tour guide!

Luis (my tour guide) was great; he told us the history while driving through PR without making it boring && he even took videos for us while we were jumping off the ledge in El Yunque. He was thorough on time and nice, overall I enjoyed and definitely will do it again!

I have been on many tours in Europe and the Caribbean. Martin is one of the best guides I have ever had. He paid close attention to the needs of everyone in our group and was very knowledgeable. About everything in the tour.

This tour was not what was advertised. We were told the tour would be 4 hours total. Instead, here’s what happened. A bus picked us up from our hotel and then spent the next two hours picking up other people from all over the island. Then we stopped at a rest stop on the side of the road for a bathroom break and food. We were there for about a half hour. Finally, we made our way to the rainforest. Once there, we walked for about 10 minutes and then came upon a river. We were able to jump in the river (thankfully… there was a chance it would be too dangerous to jump in), and that was really the only pleasant part of the trip. We stood around for a while and then returned to the bus shortly thereafter (we were only at El Yunque for at most an hour). They drove us back to what can only be described as a strip mall next to a beach and told us they would come back to pick us up in 2 hours. My husband and I had had enough at that point, so we left on our own (we were still about 40 mins outside San Juan). If we had stayed, the whole tour would have been at least 7 hours, which was not something we were prepared for, nor was it worth it. There really wasn’t much substance to the whole thing. The only thing I’ll say is the tour guide and the driver did try hard. One star for the rainforest and one star for them. Otherwise, this was a disappointing way to spend one of our vacation days.

Not what I was expecting took my whole day up. I was not informed at booking I would be required to wear a life vests! I know how to swim and hate walking on rocks. I was hoping the walk was more of a hike. The van did not give off enough a.c. and was uncomfortable. Best part was history of Puerto Rico.

I traveled with a group of 7. Our tour guide, Angel, was amazing!! Great personality and kept the same enthusiasm throughout the day! He pointed out some cool thing through the hike. Wasn’t a hard hike but definitely a physical activity. We did jump into the water with our clothes on but it was amazing. Definitely would recommend.

Not as in depth of a rainforest walk as I would have liked (maybe 1/4 mile) but had a great time in the river and they took us to Playa Luquillo afterwards! Thought the tour was from 10-2 but it was really until about 4-5pm, which was great for us because we had no other plans that day. Rafael the driver was a great guide and kept the energy up. Enjoyed trying new things. Great for beginners.

I am only writing a poor review because i was expecting a rainforest nature walk, where we can see more rainforest trees,flowers and birds .this was nothing close, We stopped at 2 restaurants both for an hour, then went to the rainforest drove in and we went to the river , where people we diving in , swimming we stayed there 2 hours and walked back to the bus , drove back to san juan .I ended up booking another rainforest walk/ hike for $25 on Airbnb experience for a different day, with a private individual they nailed it , we walked and hiked in the rainforest, saw a lot trees ,birds and other interesting sights

The scenery was absolutely stunning and the walk was strenuous. This was billed as a 4 hour tour, it took 9, the tour guide was listed as having equipment like life jackets and only had 2 for a group of 17. A girl nearly drowned. Another member of the group led the rescue. The guidance was lacking in every way, we learned nothing of the flora and fauna around us. Happy to have survived.

Couldn't have been more fun...the guides were very informative with a good sense of humor and acted very responsibly. Alex (owner) has done a fantastic job of hiring enthusiastic guides that clearly love their jobs and have a deep sense of what it takes to make their customers happy. My cheeks actually hurt after our trip down the waterside fromaughing and cheering on our new friends. Loved it!!!

Ernest tour guide is great. He knows the rainforest. Walk is of moderate intensity , only fit person should go. Better understanding why and what is a rainforest.

The tour was ok, and for me personally the only option to visit the rainforest. The driver was excellent, he took care of me and the rest of the group for the while trip extremely well and he did more than you could expect from a driver.
The guide on the other hand while perhaps very knowledgeable, was unable to read the guests properly and offer the information in a suitable format. Timewise some of the group was rather disappointed for the nature walk part to be cut in short. Instead of telling we have x minutes to do the short hike, the guide paused us constantly for biology lessons and eventually he told we would have to turn around and get back without getting to the tower we were heading to. People coming down said it is well worth the climb and after the guide claimed we don't have strenght for the hike, many of us felt embarrased for no reason at all. Hopefully it was not because of me as I stayed behind to take a photo of a lizzard in a tree.
With different tour guide the experience would have been more than average, but I am sure there are people who would enjoy the tour guided by him.
