Amazing way to see the full island of Aruba. guides were fantastic and very knowledgeable of the island. We had so much fun, this was the highlight excursion of our entire cruise. We stopped to see many fascinating sites, learned a lot about the island history. Our day was relaxing, fun, and customizable. Highly recommend this tour and the tour operator Chogogo was great to work with, the vehicle was air conditioned and comfortable, and operator provided excellent communication on where to meet our guide, who were absolutely the best!!! We enjoy the private tours, more time spent at sites and less time coordinating with large crowds and personalities. You won’t go wrong booking this tour.

We had a half day private full island tour with Chogogo Tours. It was a great experience! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who has not been to Aruba before - it is nice to be able to go with a small group - you get to see so much more ---- more time vs. waiting for people to get on and off a tour bus! Jackie is an amazing tour guide. She is a pleasure to be with and incredibly informative. She picked us up from our resort on time and drove us to all over the island to visit the sights we requested. At several of the places she offered to take photos of us. She offered water as well. I am writing to share feedback regarding our recent tour in Aruba with Diego. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely caring throughout the experience. However, I have a serious safety concern that I feel needs to be addressed.
When my husband’s mobility scooter was placed in the back of the vehicle while we were driving, we suddenly heard a loud crash. When we looked back, the scooter had tipped over with my husband still seated in it. Upon checking, I noticed the scooter had not been secured, and when I asked Diego about it, he explained that he did not have the necessary straps at that time.
The scooter was put back upright, and to prevent another fall, I sat in the back of the vehicle and physically held the scooter to keep it stable while we continued driving. At our first stop, Diego was fortunately able to find straps and secure the scooter.
However, when we resumed driving and I was seated next to my husband again, the scooter began tipping over once more. I immediately informed Diego, and he said he would adjust the straps at the next stop. In the meantime, I had to return to the back and continue holding the scooter up to prevent it from falling again.
While Diego repeatedly and kindly checked to make sure my husband was okay, the scooter continued to feel unstable, and I was required to spend the remainder of that portion of the tour physically supporting it. This was extremely tiring and stressful, as I was constantly worried about my husband being injured.
I truly appreciate Diego’s kindness and concern, but transporting a guest in a mobility scooter without proper and secure restraints presents a serious safety risk. I wanted to bring this to your attention so that future guests do not experience the same situation.

Our standard securing procedure includes multiple restraint straps to ensure that wheelchairs and scooters remain stable during transport. In this particular case, the mobility scooter itself was securely fastened and did not tip or shift inside the vehicle. Due to the size of the van and the way the scooter was positioned, there was physically no space for it to fall over during turns.
We were not informed in advance that your husband has limited mobility on one side. This information is important for us, as it allows our team to take additional precautions and use further stabilization methods when necessary. During the turns, the scooter remained stable; however, it appeared that your husband had difficulty maintaining his seated balance. Had we been made aware beforehand, we would have implemented additional securing measures from the start. First excursion we tried outside of Carnival’s excursions and it was great! Jackie met us right off the ship and took us around the entire island in an air conditioned van. We set up this tour for 4 passengers. Although 2 of us have been to Aruba many times, only 1 of us had ever gone on a professional tour of the island. For the other 2, it was their first time in Aruba. So our motivation was to have a dedicated & knowledgeable guide for a thorough tour of the island, including an overview of its history.
Our guide Merelynn was wonderful: charming, informative, very engaging. She drove us around with expertise in a smaller-sized, like-new, very comfortable van-bus (with AC). She knew her way everywhere on the island, on the main roads plus shortcuts when needed. The tour proceeded at the perfect pace.

Our Original tour was scheduled for 0900am but we were left standing in limbo for over a hour and a half due to company having issues with their paperwork causing the police to not allow them to go through with the tour! Company refused to refund the total amount paid for tour though the issue was completely their fault…only offering a 50% refund of which we have not received yet and a offer to reschedule at 200pm at a time when we had other activities planned! Our day was totally unorganized! The tour guide at 200 pm was nice and did her job explaining the history of the island.

Aruba was one of the ports that was part of our Royal Caribbean cruise itinerary. While in Aruba for a day, we took a 3-4 hour tour around the island in a van which included about 5 couples and our very friendly tour guide David. He was very informative and knowledgeable to answer all questions asked about Aruba's culture, economy, history, landmarks...
We also stopped at a few spots which were part of the tour.

We got off the cruise ship and didn't really know what to do then bumped into David.
He told us about his trip around the island and the stop offs and thought we would go for it.
David was brilliant, very funny and knowledgable about the island. Took us to some lovely places and ended up at the beautiful white sanded beach for a few hours then came and took us back to the ship.
Well organised and not expensive.

we were supposed to be picked at the cruise port dockside but the tour operator said that they were not allowed to enter the port. my wife and I are 84 yo and not able to walk to the port entrance. Finally after much hassle the driver did make it dockside. the tour driver was nice.

We did this tour on Christmas Eve (family of 4: two are kids in their 20’s). We saw the island north end to south & it was very informative & interesting . Our tour was rescheduled to start an hour & half later than booked, but it was fine. We still saw all the great nature sites in daylight (beautiful sunset at Baby Beach) & then some of the island holiday lights at night. Our driver was super knowledgeable about the island & we loved learning about the history & culture from him. I definitely recommend this tour if you want to see the highlights of Aruba. I felt like we were able to learn about Aruba from a local’s perspective. Such a beautiful island!

We have gone on this excursion twice now and you get to see so much of the island and David was great (both times) continually giving us information about Aruba. This tour was a great introduction to the island. John was knowledgeable, friendly, and adaptable to my elderly parent's needs. I highly recommend you take this tour!

Because this was a first visit to Aruba for three out of the four in our party, we booked the half day private tour. We all wanted to learn more about the island and put the driving in the hands of someone else. David picked us up promptly and immediately set a fun tone for the day!! The tour and his intricate knowledge of all things Aruba was phenomenal! I loved seeing places on the island that as a repeat visitor, I had never seen. The whole experience was super! OMG! What a wonderful tour! Our guide was John, he was the best! He was so knowledgible , we learned so much about Aruba and we saw so many beautiful sites on the island. My grandaughter, who is 20, said it was the best thing she did on vacation, and John talked to her and her boyfriend about the Party Bus too. Of course they went that night and had a blast. I have visited Aruba 4 times and this was the absolute best think we ever did, Thank You John, I truley believe you are the best guide on the island ( of course I am a little prejudiced ). Just the best!

We had an amazing time with our tour guide John . He was on time . Very helpful with the kids ( even myself ) he taught us a lot about the city , took us to a great smoothie local spot and we enjoyed baby beach which was beautiful . Also , the secret hole is a must see ! The van was also very comfortable and clean . Thank you John !

Our guide, John, was the best! He was attentive, courteous and went out of his way to fulfill our requests and to find us other places to stop that he knew about. I'd never before seen the art murals in St Nicholas...and they were awesome. As we were driving to the lighthouse, we saw a church that was beautiful and asked to stop so that we could get pictures. He accommodated us with no issues. John also talked to us about interesting facts about the island. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.

If you want an excursion that makes you feel at home.....look no further....this is it. David provided us information on life in Aruba. He took us to the locations and provided us with detailed information about each. David, our guide was courteous, flexible and an utter gentleman. By the time the trip was concluding he had me looking for properties in Aruba...a potential place to retire. When I return back to Aruba, I will definitely utilize this business for another excursion.

An excellent tour - much more personal (and cheaper than the cruise ship tour). Our driver, Archel, was so informative and passionate about his work, he made the experience really enjoyable and interesting. He showed us some amazing sights of the island and explained everything, being able to answer questions with a great depth of knowledge. We never felt rushed and he was very accommodating - returning later to a beach to pick four people up who wanted to stay there longer than the rest of us.
