We looked forward to this experience Unfortunately it was raining the day we were to leave When our uber left us off on the street we had to walk in the rain for about 15 minutes to get to the check in We were soaked When we told someone there she said we could have taken the elevator No sins were to be seen by us telling us the elevator would do that Suggestion; better signage Please Other than that we enjoyed the flight etc

​I had an amazing time on the Vancouver to Victoria seaplane adventure. The views were stunning, and I took a lot of photos while we were in the air. The staff members were very nice and helpful throughout the entire trip. The return journey by ferry and bus was also very smooth and well organized. Highly recommended for anyone visiting!

The seaplane to Victoria was amazing with awesome views over the gulf islands - plenty of photo opportunities. Smooth take off and landing - well done to the pilots. Victoria is an interesting town and there was plenty of opportunity to explore. Walking was easy and I covered a big area and saw the main attractions in the time allotted. A map and instructions where to meet the bus was provided. The ferry ride back to Vancouver was calm and clear. It gave a different view of the islands and more photo opportunities. Overall, the trip was well organised, efficiently run and operated. I highly recommend.

Fantastic trip! The seaplane across to Victoria was amazing and meant we could make the most of our time there. There's not a lot to do in Victoria itself - plenty of shops but the museums are small and some were closed when we went. However, the architecture and history is interesting. Came back by coach/ferry so a trip through the islands with the setting sun. Everything was well planned, communication was good and I'd certainly recommend this trip to catch a flavour of Victoria if you don't have a lot of time to spend on the island.

The plane ride and ferry were awesome! Victoria you can hit the highlights pretty quick and well I got bored waiting for the bus ride back. The bus ride is 50 minutes to the ferry, the bus goes on the ferry than it’s another hour + to get back to fairmont in Vancouver. Would have liked a more direct route back.

It was quite a long day but thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the seaplan ride with Harbour Air. They were all very friendly and helpful. Victoria is a beautiful place. Lots to see and do. Plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants. We enjoyed the hop on and off bus trip. The ferry ride back was lovely with some stunning scenery passing all those islands and islets.

Your of two halves. Floatplane is an amazing experience. Travelled on a twin otter which was over 60 years old! Seat configuration was 1-2 but very cramped. I am 6 feet tall and my knees were pushed hard into the seat in front but with a flight time of around 30 minutes, it was doable. Taking off from Vancouver harbour is unbelievable. Arrived in Victoria 35 minutes later. Spent around 5 hours in Victoria before catching the coach from the transit office to Swartz Bay. Boarded the ferry with the coach. Around 90 minutes on the ferry to Twassen. Coach then drives to Vancouver with multiple stops en route. You certainly get a free tour of Vancouver if you’re one of the later stops. Highly recommended

A great experience. The best way to enjoy the views of British Columbia from the air and see the amazing islands and the city views. The flight was comfortable and we felt confident in the plane and the crew. Victoria is an amazing town and we enjoyed strolling through China Town the Old Markets and Fisherman's Wharf. The bus was on time and the ferry ride back gave us a close up view of the islands. Worth the money!!!

for our 50th wedding anniversary we booked this trip.. utterly brilliant flight with jd the pilot while i enjoyed the hour flight from the co pilot seat. whilst harbour flew us the trip allowed us 6 hours free time around Victoria followed by a 1 hour coach trip to the roll on / off ferry and an hour back to our hotel by Canada plave. Have to say all at Harbour friendly chatty and interested in you. great experience to fly on a sea plane. too so smooth take off and landing.

40 minute smooth flight on a seaplane, Great breakfast at John's place on Pandora.walk along the seafront to fisherman's wharf. Pleasant coach trip to ferry and back to hotel. Lovely cruise for an hour or so over. Worth every dollar.

The flight with Harbour Air!!! Great views of the Gulf Islands. Smooth take off and landing. Great service at the terminal. Victoria is a beautiful city. Easy to visit on foot. Mile 0 at Beacon Hill Park - reminder of Terry Fox's final goal. Our bus driver was excellent!!! Very patient and helpful with all passengers. Highly professionnal. Great driver in cramped spaces. On the minus side... returning by bus and ferry was long and exhausting; round trip by air would have been worth the extra$$$. The description of the itinerary made no mention that we could have asked the bus driver to drop us off at our hotel instead of the Fairmont Vancouver Hotel. Thankfully, he offered to do so.

Unfortunately due to weather conditions the plane trip was delayed for nearly 2 hours which didn’t leave us enough time to explore Victoria and Butchart Gardens. We decided on Butchart Gardens but didn’t have enough time to go back and meet BC Ferries connector. We took a transit bus to the Ferry and then had to pay another $38.20 for the ticket. Lucky we found the bus driver on the Ferry and we had a way to get back downtown. So whole trip was a bit of a disappointment.

Great option to experience a seaplane whilst getting to Vancouver Island quicker than the ferry. Bus return was delayed and a little chaotic, but got us back to the ferry in time. Our bus driver was clearly a little hassled by the delay, not helped by the bus station check in process - or lack of, and a number of passengers wanting drop-offs at different locations to their booked tickets once they realised he dropped at multiple places. Ferry ride was smooth and comfortable. Overall a great option to get to enjoy different travel options and to spend time in Victoria.

All the admin and connections ran smoothly. The seaplane trip was an exciting and fun experience, especially for the first timers. Victoria felt loved and well looked after. We walked around the inner harbour area rather try to squeeze in another trip. It sounds lame but we all enjoyed the Miniature World exhibition, especially the local history within. The little, free Chinatown museum in Fan Tan Alley was a really interesting stop. The shopping vibe was upmarket with lots of independent traders. My daughter loved looking in the thrift shops. We did intend to venture further into Beacon Hill park but only got as far as its arid outskirts before we took a rest stop (jet lag hit). Our coach driver was friendly and caring. Unfortunately very heavy traffic exiting the ferry stop meant a half hour delay there. Perhaps we should also have been told the route back included a diversion to the bus terminal so we were ready for that at the end of a long journey. We got the 8.45 flight out and still felt we’d only glimpsed Victoria. Will have to return some day.

We looked at a number of ways to visit Vancouver island and the seaplane over and ferry back was the best option to experience the scenery from the air, land and sea. There was plenty of time in Victoria to see the sites with lunch overlooking the water a highlight. It takes a few hours to walk the streets and waterfront and we took our time.

Seaplane was an amazing experience. Be careful if you’re tall. No leg room. My husband is 6ft 3in and very lucky to get the one exit row seat. You don’t know how long you get in Victoria until you check in, so don’t plan too much. We had booked an 8.15 flight and had to be at the bus station for 3.15pm for the 5pm return ferry. Glad we had an early flight. You also don’t get a straight answer as to what time you’ll be back at the drop off point. The coach does many stops….. we were lucky we were stop 4. Got back to our stop at 8.15pm. It’s well worth it, just be prepared. You get to see all the suburbs of Vancouver and the coach has AC. It’s expensive but it was our Wedding anniversary and we wanted something special. Found an amazing restaurant in Victoria to enjoy.

This is a great way to experience the trip from Vancouver to Victoria…from the water and from above. But a warning…the ferry takes some time to do ( 4 hours one way minimum) so if you are time sensitive I would spend the money and fly both ways. The flight is 35 min one way and it really maximizes your time in Victoria or Vancouver. If you have the time, the weather is good and you like to be on the water, then definitely do the ferry. It’s a right of passage for all British Columbians to take BC Ferries at some point in their lives. You get to meet and be with locals and the views along the ferry route are stunning. You may even see whales along the way. The flight across is wonderful because you get to see why this part is the world is so special. The many islands, mountain ranges, hidden alpine lakes are all over. So worth it.

The flight to Victoria was the best part. We were left on our own to explore Victoria but didn’t discover until checking in that time would be tight if we wanted to take in The Butchart Gardens. The ferry ride back was nice and a great experience. However, the bus ride from the ferry terminal to Vancouver was long, with many stops. It’s actually a general bus route for anyone taking the ferry from Victoria and going back to Vancouver. Would have been better to have transportation more directed connected specifically to this booking. I should have read the other reviews more closely.
