Floridas Adventures customer service from the initial contact at booking, to the meeting place on the boat, and off the boat is exceptional. A personal family owned experience. On the boat the guide and Captain had guests of all ages engaged, relaxed and smiling in awe as we experienced the dolphins surfing behind the boat! The manatees, turtles, stingrays and many birds we saw. Exceptional! It’s terrible the JW Marriott does not promote their services as an option for guests.

Great Dolphin sight seeing trip! 5 Stars ++++ Jess and Ellison were our captains and they were both knowledgeable about the area, birds, and especially the dolphins. They gave us so much information about the dolphins, engaged the kids on board and humored the adults. We saw lots of dolphins and some dolphins even swam along with our boat. We also learned about hurricane birds!

Jessica and Lloyd were incredible from start to finish. The dolphin and wildlife tour around Marco Island was the perfect. Within minutes, dolphins were swimming right alongside the boat playful, close, and unforgettable!
What really made it stand out was how knowledgeable and genuinely passionate they were. They shared fun facts about the local wildlife, pointed out different birds and marine life. 11/10 recommend.

We booked a 3-hour dolphin tour with Florida Adventures and Rentals and it absolutely exceeded our expectations! This was hands down the highlight of our entire Marco Island vacation.
From the moment we stepped on board, Captain Colleen made our family of four feel welcome. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable - her warm personality truly enhanced the entire experience. Having the whole boat to ourselves made it feel like a private, personalized adventure.
The dolphin encounter was magical! Colleen knew exactly where to find them and even knew many of the dolphins by name. She shared fascinating facts about their behaviors and personalities that made the experience so much more meaningful. The best part? She got the dolphins to follow our boat, jumping and playing in our wake - absolutely spectacular!
Next, we headed to a stunning private island made entirely of seashells. We spent about an hour exploring this hidden gem with just our family, collecting shells and soaking in the breathtaking ocean views. What a unique and peaceful experience!
The adventure continued as Colleen navigated us to see manatees and sea turtles. These gentle creatures were amazing to observe up close, and Colleen's ability to locate them across miles of open ocean was truly impressive. Her expertise made all the difference.

What a wonderful experience! Colleen was an amazing guide — eminently knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and fun. We not only saw dolphins but also learned about their biology and behaviors. We also learned about the sea environment generally. At one point, we attracted dolphins to jump repeatedly in the boat’s wake. We will definitely take this tour again when we return to Marco Island.

This was my second excursion and I would defintely choose Florida Adventures again. Our two hour boat ride was a great exploratory adventure of the Marco Island area and we saw so many dolphins. A favorite part is having dolphins catch a wave alongside the boat, riding along in the boat's wake. Jessica and Elliot are very personable and knowledgeable, sharing their knowledge of the area's ecosystem. There were 12 passengers on our boat and plenty of room for everyone.

We went on the dolphin tour in early March and had a great time! Our captains were awesome and had so much knowledge about the dophins, manatees and the ecological importance of the mangroves. They answered all of our questions and filled the trip with energetic conversation that kept us engaged. The captains were able to find dolphins in several different areas and explained their behavior to us. Even without the learning experience, the environment was beautiful and the ride was exhilarating. We highly recommend the trip to all.

If I could give this tour a 6 I would! Absolutely great experience. Captain Elliot was awesome and the rest of the people that we met from the company were very friendly. We ended up following a pod of dolphins the whole time and it did not disappoint. We could practically touch the dolphins and they were very playful with us. The boat was very comfortable and over all we feel like we had an experience of a lifetime!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience on this excursion.. Captain Elliott was incredibly knowledgeable about the ecosystem and the dolphins. You could truly feel his passion and respect for the environment. What amazed us most was how the dolphins seemed to recognize him -- several times they swam right up and glided effortlessly in the boat's wake. It was such a special sight to see.
The boat ride itself was extremely comfortable, and the captain was very considerate on the water. He carefully navigated around the wakes of other boats and always slowed down when needed, which made the experience relaxing and enjoyable from start to finish.
I highly recommend this excursion to anyone looking for a memorable and thoughtful wildlife experience.
3.0 Disorganized, Uncomfortable Tour - But Excellent Dolphin Viewing

During our Naples stay, we booked a Marco Island boat excursion and were rewarded with a beautiful day on the water and outstanding dolphin sightings. The captain was skilled, safety-focused, and informative, while the guide was pleasant but occasionally uncertain in her commentary. Logistics detracted from an otherwise enjoyable outing: parking is extremely limited, boarding instructions were unclear, and our group initially gathered where other tours met, only to be retrieved later and depart behind schedule. The boat, though safe, felt overcrowded, making viewing difficult and comfort limited. A cooler previously confirmed on board was not provided. At higher speeds, February winds made conditions surprisingly chilly. Overall, the wildlife viewing and scenery make the trip worthwhile, but improved organization and passenger comfort would elevate the experience.

As we have responded on the other platforms where you posted this same review (some rated 4 stars and others 3 stars, including this one), we would like to clarify for the public the reasons behind the title and rating.
***REGARDING LOGISTICS AND INSTRUCTIONS***
All arrival details — address, parking guidance, meeting location, and waiver links — were texted to your phone the evening prior (7:42 PM) and again the morning of the tour (2/14/26 at 7:35 AM). When you had not checked in at 2:00 PM, our office contacted you and discovered you were waiting at a different area of the park despite these instructions. You were immediately guided to the correct dock and boarded.
We also find it disappointing that you contacted us multiple times prior to the tour asking various questions, demonstrating you had our contact information. However, upon arriving at the park and waiting in the wrong location, you did not call or text for assistance — despite previously asking our crew to misrepresent the situation to your group by stating only eight guests were permitted under your reservation (you booked for eight) to avoid a personal conflict. Our role is to provide honest, safe experiences — not to provide inaccurate information. When you asked our crew to tell your group you could only book for eight people, you were informed the tour was sold out and replied, “perfect…that makes it so much better,” confirming awareness of capacity. During peak season this is common, as our tours are very popular; a private excursion would have been the appropriate option for additional space.
It is also important to note that this type of issue is not reflected in our other guest feedback across platforms, which consistently reports smooth check-ins when the provided instructions are followed.
***ABOUT THE COOLER AND COMFORT***
You asked if adult beverages were allowed and were advised cans or plastic containers were welcome. A cooler was on board (the cushioned seat you were using), though one was not specifically requested. Our Coast Guard-inspected vessels are certified for up to 17 passengers with open viewing in all directions.
At the conclusion of the trip, guests (including your group) tipped the crew generously, and other participants left 5-star feedback praising the experience.

We started seeing dolphins just after leaving the dock. We has a captain and a naturalist with us and they did a great job of telling us about the dolphins, the islands, and the Rockery Bay eco-system. Very interesting. The highlight was having dolphins surf and do flips right behind us. Amazing!!!

Absolutely amazing experience! Huge shout out to Kathleen who was so kind and even offered to pick us up due to an unexpected road closure that caused us to be late for the tour. She went above and beyond to help us- if every business had a Kathleen they would soar to success! And no words good enough to describe Elliott our boat captain and Sophie our guide. Elliott was incredible- he was an amazing navigator, knew where to find the dolphins and how to engage them - we saw so many and they were so playful! Exceeded expectations! And Sophie was such a knowledgeable guide- she shared such interesting information about the dolphins and other wildlife as well as the ecosystem and history of Marco and its’ islands. I came down to Marco Island for a friend’s bday weekend with no real plan in mind. We stumbled upon this tour, and I couldn’t be happier. Wonderful experience, our Capt Marco was fabulous. Very knowledgeable in the area and all the wildlife and nature. Saw several dolphins and they surfed in our wake very cool. Great way to learn about the area.

We had so much fun, it was just our family of 5 with 3 children.
Captin Marco made sure we saw the dolphins multiple times, and an island that was secluded for shelling.
Captin Marco is super involved and knowledgeable about all the wildlife.
We will be doing it again when we come back!

Superb tour with Captain Colleen and her assistant Brian. We have done many dolphin tours before but never with this level of information or enjoyment. Colleen knows every dolphin in the bay and they will come close to the boat and jump in the wake. Highly recommended tour.

Colleen was our captain and she was amazing at finding the dolphins and educating us all about them! Because it was cold and we did the morning tour we were the only ones on the boat. She offered to take us to look for shells but we were having too much fun watching all the dolphins and learning about them. We have done dolphin tours elsewhere in the past and this was by far the best one between seeing the dolphins and hearing Colleen's knowledge of them.

We went on this tour yesterday and had an absolute amazing memorable time! I can’t recommend this tour enough! We saw a dolphins almost immediately and practically nonstop. They came out close to the boat, we saw babies with mamas, males courting females, and even dolphins swimming along our boat and in the wake jumping out of the water! Captain Colleen, and Sonia were our guides, highly knowledgeable, could answer every question we had a knew a ton about the area. They also interacted with other boats in the area to partner on the tour experience and ensure that the dolphins were safe throughout the process. It’s actually the second time we’ve taken this tour and the other couple we were with who spend a ton of time in Florida said they have never seen anything like it. We will all be back!

We had the pleasure of joining Captain Marco for a sightseeing and shelling tour during the last week of October, and it was truly unforgettable. The weather was perfect, and Captain Marco’s deep knowledge and passion for the Marco Island ecosystem made the experience both enriching and enjoyable.
Despite the slightly murky water, we were lucky enough to spot a manatee gliding through the depths—a rare and magical moment. Captain Marco went above and beyond to find dolphins, and we were thrilled when they followed our boat’s wake, playfully leaping and swimming alongside us for an extended time.
He guided us to two pristine islands, where we discovered an incredible variety of shells—including the elusive sea beans (IYKYK!). Not only did he help us find them, but he also took the time to explain their origins and significance.
What stood out most was how much we learned—unexpected, yet absolutely delightful. Captain Marco’s tour was the perfect blend of adventure, education, and natural beauty. We can't wait to return!

Our captain Marco was fabulous! Dolphins recognized his friendly boat and put on a great show for us, swimming in circles, leaping into our wake and leaping alongside the boat. Marco readily spotted birds and sealife that was difficult for us novices to see.

What a great experience we had today with Captain Marco and Captain Elliott! I was on a girls trip and we were lucky enough to have Marco and Elliot to ourselves.
