The catamaran experience was amazing. That part of it was 4 stars. The island of Taboga was a total waste of time. The beach was horrible. The lounge chairs were worn and old. Perhaps you can do a catamaran cruise , stop and swim in the ocean for 45 minutes then head back. Skip Tobago! I would have to say NO to this excursion.

Absolutely loved this trip. Registering to checking in, to the 6 hour exersion was all easy and fantastic. We had a great day- sunny beautiful day. Great to escape the city. The crew were all helpful, nice and obviously loved their jobs. Drinks were good, lunch was delicious (salad, stew chicken, lentils/rice, macarooni, fruits)!!! They stopped for 20-30 mins if anyone to jump off the cataman to cool off in the water. The music was upbeat and created a perfect setting. Checking out Tobago Island for 2 hrs was nice- loved the pina colada and checked out an old church. I would 100% do it again. Thanks for showing us a great time!

The best part was the boat ride. The island was nothing exciting - beach was horrible, hard/hurtful sand. Ocean water was just okay. I enjoyed laying in the nets on the boat. I thought it was going to be a lot better! We bought the pineapples as soon as we got to the island, great price but they tasted like nothing - we threw them right away. Overall I wouldn’t do it again. It was cool to say we went there though.

I have been on many of these type of experiences before and often times you leave exhausted. I truly feel like this excursion was a great blend for those who want to be in water and those who want vibes. I had so much fun and found that the time went by so fast. Our Red Cat Adventures catamaran tour to Taboga Island was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish! The entire experience was fun, engaging, relaxing, and educational all at the same time. The crew created such an amazing atmosphere with great music, energy, hospitality, and knowledge about Panama and the surrounding areas. A huge shout out to Ashley, the bartender, for keeping the drinks flowing with such a positive attitude and incredible service all day long! This was an amazing experience and one I will definitely repeat! First, the staff made all of us feel very welcome and they were all sooooo much fun! The ambiance, the music, the cleanliness of the boat was all more than a plus point and made this trip extra special. We met new friends on the trip and the entire experience was amazing, relaxing at the beach at Taboga Island, while enjoying great music on the way to and back. The food was great. I really enjoyed this catamaran tour overall. The crew practiced good safety procedures, were attentive throughout the day, and made sure everyone was comfortable. The food was good, and lunch was a nice part of the experience. Jumping into the ocean was fun, although a little anticlimactic since it was just out in the middle of the water. The waterfall behind us was beautiful, though, and made for a nice backdrop. A few of us felt tiny prickling sensations in the water, which we later learned were jellyfish larvae. Once we rinsed off, we were fine. The beach stop was okay, and beach chairs were only $4, which was reasonable. Overall, it was a nice day on the water, relaxing and enjoyable. I would recommend it — just make sure you wear sunscreen!

Those in charge of guiding the tour are individuals with an immense, I repeat, immense quality of humanity and a high level of commitment. The Red Cat is a very beautiful and clean catamaran; the journey was at a very pleasant speed, without any jolts, with impeccable driving. We had enough time to spend a while on Taboga beach, enjoy the sea, and explore the small town of this beautiful island. Food, drinks, and liquors were always available, and we greatly enjoyed the final leg of the journey before reaching Fuerte Amador, with a lovely approach to the city of Panama.

A friend and I both booked a Taboga island tour for the same day and time, only to learn on arrival that there were two different tours with almost the same description, for the same schedule. We asked to have one transferred so that we could be on the same boat, but Viator refused. In order for me to board, I had to pay the boat operator another $99. Afterwards, Viator refused to reimburse me. So, I had to pay twice for the same experience. It would have been better to deal with the tour company directly, since Viator insisted on being a middle man whose only interest is collecting money without providing meaningful customer service. If you do use Viator, and are booking with family or friends, make sure you speak to the actual company providing your service. Viator will not help you when you are traveling in a foreign country with limited communication and phone service. I was literally better off on my own, and am sharing this disappointment with everyone.

This excursion was amazing! It was soo much fun to be on the boat! It was super clean on board, the staff had GREAT hospitality, they made sure that we were good all throughout the tour. Especially Ryan, he was an EXTRAORDINARY host! Unlimited drinks on board and refreshments alongside with good Panamanian lunch. They had a stop by a mountain side in the middle of the ocean where we got to swim around for a bit then we stopped at Taboga Island, where we got to go to the beach and see the coastal community and shop alongside of it, it was beautiful! The only thing is I wished we had another hour at Taboga because it was that good we wanted some more time in that area but I overall 10/10 recommend for your trip, it definitely was worth the price I paid and best for adults.

My friends and I did a girls trip to Panama and had the opportunity to go on Red Cat Catamaran. The morning started off with rain but once we boarded at 9am, the sun came out and we had a beautiful day. We had so much fun dancing, enjoyed the scenery and met other people. This tour was booked a month in advance only for the operator to write me on Monday (tour was meant to me Thur) asking If I can do Tues or Wed instead, which I couldn't as I had other tours already booked. I advised this and asked if Friday is an option. No response, however they charged my card. 327 dollars for 3 persons. I sent a follow up message only for them to cancel and refund, no explanation. The refund hasn't hit my bank account yet. The only upside is that I was able to book a tour to San Blas which was so amazing. I hate undependable tours as someone who plans.

I don’t usually like to go on tours that include all you can drink alcohol, but this one was extremely well organized. They also made sure to clean the floor when it was very slippery. The swim stop was nice with the noodles. It was rather short, but it was refreshing. I appreciated being served lunch rather than having passengers handle food individually. It is much more sanitary. I was also surprised at the cleanliness of the bathroom with a full sink and soap. All of the service were very friendly and service was excellent. I wasn’t super impressed with the island, but I had a great experience and highly recommend it.
