Your tour begins inside the pier, where our guides will be waiting for you with a sign displaying your name. Look for our red shirts for easy identification. We offer pickup right inside the pier, so there’s no need to walk outside the facilities. Timing: Tours are scheduled 30 minutes after your ship docks, with the earliest tour starting at 8:00 AM. 5.0 Amazing Day in Puerto Limon

Can’t give high enough praise to our tour guide Anah. Not only is her knowledge of Costa Rica culture top tier, but she goes the extra mile to make your trip special. Took pictures of our group throughout the day and shared them free of additional charge. After an amazing time spotting wildlife on the canals and zip lining through the jungle, she took us to a local beach. She helped us navigate the menu and order at a beachside restaurant resulting in some delicious local food. They were flexible even though our ship arrived late. And still managed to fit all the day’s activities in and made sure we made it back to our ship with time to spare! 10’s across the board!

We had an amazing time with our guide, Yen, and our driver, Alex! They showed us so much about the city, surrounding area, culture, agriculture etc. and were so much fun! Our canal ride was very good and we saw numerous howler monkeys, sloths, crocodiles and caimans in addition to many bird species. The guide was great at pointing out things and explaining what we were seeing. Ziplining was a blast and the crew there were so professional and kind. We got to try some of the fruits and coffee of Costa Rica too. Everything about our tour was exceptional. We were sad to say goodbye to our new friends at the end! Thanks Yen and Alex for a tour to remember!

My friends and husband told me they would try a zip line, if I would . Boy! Did we pick the right one!!! Everyone had a fabulous time and the guides were superb! Jose was our guide on the island and we had a nice boat ride on the canal and a short trip to a banana plantation. Those two were fine, but the zip line will be with us forever! It was thrilling, but without fear. Those guys were real pros and what a ride! The zip line was high, long and fast. Well worth every cent!

Reyshelin (I forgot how to spell her name) or Shey was our tour guide and she was amazing! We had an amazing time during this tour and Shey showed us around Puerto Limon. She asked what we would like to experience and we each got to do what we wanted to do/see! It was an incredible experience and we loved every second! Highly recommend this excursion!

Trip was a full day despite half day booking which was fine with us but plan accordingly. Comfortable rides from place to place and loved zip line and beach. Canal ride was disappointing as we didn’t see much. Tour guide seemed a little inexperienced and struggled with English.

We had an excellent time on our tour! It was very easy to find our guide once we got off the ship. Our tour guide, Ian, was very knowledgable and friendly. The boat tour was super fun and we were able to see sloths, howler monkeys, a crocodile with babies, and several types of birds and lizards. Ziplining was super fun and stunning! We also saw sloths, howler monkeys, and iguanas while ziplining. Our tour guide gave us the option of going to the beach or a small banana plantation/botanic garden and we chose to go to the latter which was very cool. Ian showed us all of the different plants and explained the export of bananas. There was also a gift shop with free coffee samples and lots of cool trinkets. Overall an excellent tour. We were shocked that it was a private tour with just the two of us and a guide. An excellent value for the price. Only thing I would say is make sure to clarify ahead of time what time you are supposed to meet your guide as it can be confusing if ship time is different than local time.

We were picked up on time at the port. The team was easily recognizable by the red shirts and had a sign with our name clearly visible. We did the tour in an air-conditioned car with guide and driver. Both were really hard at work, responded to our questions and also drove us to viewing spots which was not so part of the tour. They just wanted to show us the best of their place. Even at the zipline and boat we were not left alone (all but very unobtrusive!!) and our guide did everything and showed us animals and good photo points on the boat trip. At the zipline she accompanied us as well. So we were not left alone, but could also enjoy the environment as a couple. Our guide was named Diane and also studies tourism in Costa Rica. A really perfect excursion where we got more than was described. Highly recommended!

Our guide Fio and driver Yiyi were fantastic. They were both so accommodating and fun. We felt save and very well taken care of. The bonus was Yiyi and Fio seeing sloths or other points of interest along our drive and stopping to identify for us. Our group had so much fun zip lining and they were great! The river cruise we saw lots of wildlife including birds, sloths and crocodiles

There’s no words to describe how amazing was the tour and specially the great that the driver Alex and the tour guide treated us. They were amazing very familiarized with the area. They were so friendly and we had a lot of fun with them. If I ever come back I definitely want them back with us. The tour worth every penny

My husband and daughters age 10 and 12 enjoyed the ziplines. They did not love the canal tour as much, so in hindsight we would book just the ziplining only without the canal tour.

Fio and Yiyi were amazing. The canal tour was good and zip lining was awesome! Someone wrote a review about a drop off on a slippery trail. One trail was slippery but no drop offs. This is a fun activity. Go enjoy yourself!!
