5.0 One of the best excursions I’ve been on!

Amani_J, May 2026

Wow!!! I had such a great time on this excursion with two of my best friends. Our guide was Mib, and she was absolutely amazing. Not only was she knowledgeable on the entire area, she made sure we got a full experience from helping us take photos to showing us the best places, I would 1000% recommend this tour. We even got rained on at the end and I wasn’t even upset, I had so much fun and would most certainly do it again. if you sweat like me, I would suggest bringing a sweat towel. Lol, this is also a great workout!!

5.0 Nice tour in Panama City.

WalterAndrew_R, April 2026

Daniel was our guide. He was very friendly and told us a lot about the land and city. Very buss city, but nice tour on bike.

5.0 Perfect for a quiet day and pictures

Deisy_J, March 2026

It was a very good experience, I loved the whole tour and Mibs the guide is very knowledgeable about everything. I loved that we stopped at places where you could take pictures with a very nice view we passed by old town and we could do some small shopping. All super good a 10/10

5.0 Great Way to See the City!

nataliebR2795IF, March 2026

We did this ride on our first morning in Panama City, and it was a great way to get oriented and learn about the area. Daniel was a friendly and knowledgeable guide. He adapted to different skill levels in the group easily. We loved touring the markets and the causeway/bridge was a highlight. Great tips for places to visit in Casco Viejo as well. Thanks Daniel!

3.0 Wish I Could Have

Sherilyn_P, March 2026

Was excited to take a bike ride but that never happened. The bikes only had a high king cross at in front. Since they did not a bike with a lower bar or height I was not able to join the Group. My suggestion is include at least one bike that has a lower front crossbar.

5.0 Great Tour Guide - Panama City's Casco Viejo

Mimi_A, March 2026

Paola is an excellent guide, and expertly led us on bikes to key interesting points of interest in Costco Viejo, along the Cinta Costera and even to the fish and produce markets. She is a very skilled guide and the tour gave us the grounding we needed on our first day in Panama City. I would highly recommend her. Also the bikes were in great working condition.

5.0 Ride, Sally, ride!

Kha_H, March 2026

I thoroughly enjoyed my time riding my bike and learning about the different, historical, places in Panama. Both of our tour guides were very sweet and they made sure that we left satisfied with out experience. I was more than happy to be there and I got in a good work out while having fun, so I am both, satisfied and sleepy. 10/10 experience

Tracy_L, March 2026

A well organized & very interesting & fun bike tour! Our guide was prompt & great too. Highly recommend.

5.0 A learning experience

Ariana_L, March 2026

Me and my hubby had one of the best experiences Mib was a very good guide, very explanatory about the scenery and all the places we visited. Also while exploring Panama you get a workout in! So that’s a plus. While in Panama you should definitely book this!

4.0 Learned a lot about the city and markets

Gary_G, January 2026

Interesting ride through the small and very crowded streets (caution required). However, once you get to the government buildings very interesting both our cyclists had lots of interest in information to share. The ride, then along the water way, and back into the city to view, the markets was a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this ride.

5.0 Very good experience....

DeyseCristina_B, January 2026

Very good experience. Fundamental. I loved pedaling, even more at the end of the tour, as we walked through a beautiful bridge. Going on the Cinta Costera by bicycle and passing through the seafood market was a sensational experience!!!!!!

3.0 I rated this tour a three...

Claudia_W, December 2025

I rated this tour a three because overall it was a great tour but there were a few issues throughout that lowered my rating. The guide was great - Very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the city, culture, and history. We did a few other activities during our stay and this didn’t not overlap anything we saw elsewhere. I recommend it from this perspective! On the flip side, the guide was 20 min late with no communication to let us know he was on his way. My bike only had front brakes that worked and after waiting for a replacement, he instead swapped his bike for mine so we could get on our way. The first half of the tour is in traffic with narrow room to ride. We weren’t offered helmets and two people in my party would’ve benefitted from wearing them. We also didn’t sign a waiver, which I’ve signed before on bike tours in other cities. Most concerning was the guide did not stay with the slow riders. Two people in my group were having difficulty keeping up and my son had to ride back to find them and make sure they caught up with the group. They were so far ahead we couldn’t see where they were. The final part was on a long stretch of road. When they stopped for the last riders, I was told they waited 20 min for us to catch up. They were that far ahead. Physically, the pace was more than those two were accustomed to so I stayed back with them to make sure they were ok. Be sure to bring sunscreen and water. It was in the sun for the most part.

Response from Host, December 2025

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. I truly appreciate your kind words about the knowledge and cultural value of the tour, and at the same time, I sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced. First of all, I want to say that I am genuinely sorry for the delay and for the situations that affected your experience. Unfortunately, on that specific day I, Daniel, was unable to lead the tour due to a medical condition. Jonathan, who regularly covers tours with me and with whom I usually rotate schedules, was coming from the interior of the country to Panama City and was involved in a road accident on the way. While I understand that this may sound like an excuse, it is important for me to be transparent about what happened. Under normal circumstances, we always arrive at least 30 minutes before the tour starts, and arriving late is not part of our standard or values. That said, I fully recognize that the responsibility ultimately falls on us, and I sincerely regret the lack of timely communication, the safety concerns you mentioned, and especially the fact that the group became separated. That should not have happened, and your comments highlight an internal failure that I take very seriously. What is done is done, but I am committed to personally addressing and correcting these issues. I am already implementing internal improvements to ensure clearer communication, better group management, stricter safety protocols (including helmets and waivers), and a pace that is comfortable and safe for all participants. I truly appreciate your honesty and feedback, as it helps us grow and improve. I hope that despite these challenges, you were still able to take away something positive from the experience, and I would be grateful for the opportunity to regain your trust in the future. Warm regards, Daniel

5.0 Fantastic tour with fantastic hosts

Vedia_B, December 2025

The tour was absolutely fantastic! Elena and Louis were so personable and fun. I learned so much history from them. My only feedback is that there is a disclaimer about if it is raining how slippery the bricks are. I fell off my bike because of the slipperiness.

5.0 A great way to find out the hotspots of the city!!!!

Stanford_M, December 2025

Very informative with great stops of the city. The host is also very patient and answers all of your questions. A great way to find out the hotspots of the city.

5.0 Great way to see Panamá City

kimr44, November 2025

A bike tour was an excellent way to experience Panamá City! Jonathan was knowledgeable, interesting and fun. We made several stops to see city highlights and covered much of the city. The bikes were in very good condition, I would highly recommend this tour!

5.0 Good tour

helenrI1117IZ, November 2025

This was great! The bicycles were in good shape. Jonathan did a great job explaining things and giving us a taste of the city.

5.0 So much to see and Learn

Dawn_Q, November 2025

This a fantastic tour and Daniel is a local resident who knows the people, places and history so well. He added so many fun stories that made the tour entertaining and memorable. Daniel was at our meeting point even a little early. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant to be with. He expertly navigated us around in the busy streets. He had so many great restaurant recommendations including how we can get a wonderful inexpensive meal with fresh fish at the fish market. We tasted some wonderful sauces and juices. He introduced us to local fruits I’d never heard of. We traveled out of the old city and down to the new area and he explained the history and how people are living today. He even took us by a boxing club where their most famous boxer Roberto Duran trains, the oldest church, we saw how the famous Panama hat is made and so much more. I would do this tour again.

5.0 Great Tour

Cassandra_B, October 2025

I absolutely loved his tour. Alaina was very knowledgeable and passionate about Panamanian culture which was truly appreciated. I had toured the city on a different tour on the previous day and I was concerned that if I did the bike tour, it would be a repeat but it was not. I definitely recommend this tour. I came aa a solo tourist but there was a couple who did this tour with me and I felt comfortable. Also I am over 50 and I exercise but was a little concerned that it may be too fast and it was not. We toured Old Towne, San Felipe Neri (fresh fruit , food, and meat market) and the fish market and a few other areas. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.

5.0 We loved this trip! Very unique.

703charmaineb, September 2025

We liked the trip. It gave us a view on the nice side of Casco viejo and the reality side of Panama. We loved everything about it! Jonathan made us try different juices and things to taste; like he said: you can see god if you taste certain things- lol. It was a very great experience and we would recommend this to everyone that want to see the best of panama in 3 hours. It is so simple But so much to see, taste, inhale, experience. We felt very safe with Jonathan. His english is very good so we understood everything. He also had these headphones for us to wear, so we could hear him the whole time, even if we were a little behind with our bike. He talked the whole trip. Magnifique!!!! We went to the local food market and the fish market which were also a plus. Look for Jonathan!!

5.0 No better way to truly explore Casco de Viejo !

Stefan_F, September 2025

Firstly, I am entirely glad that I chose to book this bike tour. It is arguably the best way to explore Panama; the Casco de Viejo area, as well as to learn the history of Panama and sample different foods from Panama. Our guide, Daniel, was extremely knowledgeable about Panamanian history and culture and did an excellent job in being a tour guide. He is also clearly respected throughout all the areas that we visited. I highly recommend this tour. Once you can ride a bicycle, love history and foods from different cultures, there is no better way to explore Panama

5.0 Outstanding bike tour in Casco Viejo!

LauraRabinowicz, April 2025

This was one of the best bike tours we’ve ever done (and we’ve done a lot in many different countries). It rained off and on the whole time but our guide Jonathan was truly outstanding. We learned so much history and also about Panama and food. He took us to a big market and fish market. We were the only ones on the tour and we simply loved it. Thank you Jonathan! Lastly, we had an earpiece which was great. He explained so many things while we were biking along, instead of stopping and starting. Highly highly recommend.

5.0 Wonderful day on the Catamaran in Portobelo

Jillian_S, April 2025

We had a beautiful day. David and Bruno did an excellent job and provided a wonderful experience. I only wish it was a bit longer of an excursion for the price, but my crew did travel from Panama City, which likely drove up the price some- still wish we were out until closer to 4. You’ll be headed back by 2:30. Lunch was amazing, but you may want to bring snacks if a light (albeit delicious) lunch isn’t enough for you given the duration. This is just a suggestion- we were fine, but we are 3 rather petite women. Also- it’s byob, which is super cool and I wish we’d known prior bc we totally would have stocked the cooler. The snorkeling was incredible. Lots of wildlife to see in beautiful clear and warm water. I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Make sure you check out the fort and research the history- that’s where you’ll take your lancha to the catamaran to and from, and it’s pretty neat!

3.0 It was more of a walking tour with small bouts on the bike.

ilove2travel77, March 2025

Overall I would say that our guide Jonathan was very knowledgable and clearly loves his city. We visited some interesting places. It was an eye opener at times, with certain areas of the city (the old historic area) being quite dirty and sketchy. I am open minded, and was half expecting this. BUT I felt he concentrated way too much on this. Its important to know what the other half lives like, but would have been nice to focus on the positive and see some more sites as opposed to focusing on the poverty that is present in every major city. Would have liked to have spent more time on the bikes and seeing more, and with the crazy midday heat, at no point, did Jonathan direct us as to where we could hydrate with water or purchase water, or even use a bathroom. essential for a 2-3 hour tour. The tour said water was provided - it was not. So bring your own and hydrate well.

5.0 Best Start of the Day

Ivory_H, February 2025

Best tour and guide ever!!! Daniel was so patient and informative. I wanted to go again once we were done. Book it!!!

Valene_F, February 2025

Great way to see the city! Would definitely recommend doing within the first couple days of your trip

5.0 Excellent bike tour!

Shannon_B, February 2025

Of all the many bike tours I’ve done this was the best! Jhonathan really knew his city and we visited so many places, sampled juices at the market, got recommendations for great restaurants (we tried Oh My Bao and was excellent by the way!) and much much more. Highly recommend!

5.0 Panama old town bike tour

paul_d, February 2025

Bike around the old town and nearby neighbourhoods. Tour was interesting especially if you are a foodie as there was plenty of advice and recommendations

5.0 Close up navigation of old parts of PC.

Passenger75356, January 2025

Bike tour with Jonathon in Casco Viejo and environs- He shared so much history and stories of Panamanian culture, cared for our wellbeing , and offered us suco de Cana and other delicious refreshments. Very warm, dress lightly.

4.0 Old Town on two wheels

Sonny_L, January 2025

It is a great way to see lots of the old Town and market area. Would have liked more photos stops. Ear piece is a great way to hear as we biked. San Felipe market was awesome, tried local juice, candy and a meal at the market. Traffic can be intimidating. Lots of information. Pictures show PANAMA sign, tour doesn't go by there any more.. wanted that senic shot!

1.0 Disappointing experience

echu1980, January 2025

I had been looking forward to visiting Panama City, but this tour and especially the guide ruined it for me. I booked the canal tour but because I was the only one I was asked to participate in the city & local markets tour. I agreed as it was last minute and didn't really have time to look for another tour. Unfortunately, the tour left a bitter taste in my mouth. The tour was supposed to be old city and local markets. But the markets close early in the afternoon, so there was no local market visit. Not sure why it's advertised for the afternoon tour if it's clear the markets would be closed. Jhonatan didn't seem very friendly at the start, felt like he didn't want to do the tour. The microphones and earphones were a good idea, but I wish the guide wasn't chewing on something the whole time, which was magnified through the mic and all I could hear in my ear was his chewing. The tour was around the old town and one of the neighbourhoods, which I enjoyed as I always look for local experience and every day life. Unfortunately, there was really no time for photos, I was hoping the guide would take a pic or two, like any other guides I've experience, but he just didn't seem that enthusiastic and it felt like he wanted to get it over and done with it. Beware, this tour is also available as a free tour, where you have to pay for a bike rental ($15) and then tip the guide as you see fit. I didn't feel like the tour was worth anything, but felt forced into giving Jhonathan money as he was practically standing there with his hand out. I don't recommend this particular tour/guide.

5.0 The best guided bike tour I've experienced.

Victor L, January 2025

Our guide Jonathan (sp?) took time to set up our equipment properly, gave us earpieces and receivers so that he could guide us and narrate the entire time. Some moderate experience with cycling and shifting gears recommended. There were 7 in our group and we biked over brick streets in and out of traffic, with only one minor fall, bump, and scrape against a curb which Jonathan took care of like a well-trained boy scout. Our guide took great concern for our personal safety, exposure to sun, hydration, etc. He was an encyclopedia of knowledge, local culture and history, having grown up in Casco Viejo (aka San Felipe), and knew the streets like the back of his hand. He gave us great insights into history, politics, tips on things to do, sights to see, places to eat, and more. Biking those streets is not for the faint of heart, but we had a blast!

5.0 Really nice bike tour

pedrorW6167JW, December 2024

Great bike tour ! Jonathan, the guide is really nice ! The tour takes you to all over the old city and around the bike lane on the bridge.

5.0 Wonderful way to learn about Panama

emilyjungels2017, December 2024

Jonathan was great! He gave a lot of details throughout the ride. He was friendly and had individual speakers for each of us so we could hear everything. He tools us off the beaten path, we got to get the true flavor of Panama, which is beautiful.

5.0 Fantastic Tour!!

Shaynis_C, November 2024

Jonathan was a very knowledgeable and experienced tour guide. He spoke fluent English and got us through plenty historical sights and points of interest where you can take in the landscapes and city skylines from good viewing locations. He is born and raised in Panama and saw how Panama transitioned to the country it is now in his well structured story telling about the history of Panama, its people and its culture. On several occasions he gave insight tips and recommendations on places to go, eat and drink. Highly recommend this tour and you will be fortunate to have Jonathan as your tour guide.

Response from Host, December 2024

Thank you for your kind words! I’m glad you enjoyed the tour and found the insights and recommendations helpful. It was a pleasure sharing Panama’s history and culture with you!

5.0 Wonder experience

Keith_S, October 2024

It was great to hear more about the history of this beautiful country, our guide Johnathon did a very nice job explaining things and navigating the city.

Response from Host, December 2024

Thank you so much for your kind review! It was a pleasure sharing Panama’s history and culture with you, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to guide your experience.

5.0 Awesome in Every Way

Teresa_B, October 2024

Awesome bike tour. I saw local areas I never expected to see and had an ideal experience with the people and culture of Panama. The bike fit me perfectly and the pace and distance was perfect. Our guide was beyond exceptional with his excellent English and knowledge of the area, its history, and culture. I am SO grateful to have had this awesome experience! Thank you!

5.0 Great tour. Saw everywhere.

stephenmM8554QF, February 2024

Great tour. Rode all around Panama City. Daniel was informative and patient. Wasn’t in a rush at all. Covered a lot of ground.

4.0 A Very Informative and Fun Experience on a Bike

T-Cozee, January 2024

Did this tour last week with some friends on our first trip to Panama and had a blast while getting some exercise done. Daniel is a very knowledgeable tour guide and he made sure to tell us about all the historic areas of Casco Viejo. There were plenty of stops for photos at scenic points. We also got to visit the meat, fish, and fruit markets and were able to buy a few things. The bikes were relatively new and functioned well. We weren’t offered helmets but maybe they aren’t required in Panama. As we did this tour on a Tuesday morning some of the streets and intersections we had to cross were busy with cars. Don’t do this ride if you get nervous riding near fast moving vehicles. They were some points where we were supposed to follow our guide through an intersection but the traffic showed no signs of stopping so we stopped rather than taking the chance of being hit. When you do this tour you won’t be disappointed. Just make sure to take plenty of time at the beginning to select the best bike for your height and get to know the brakes and gear operations. Also be sure to ask for any adjustments you need so you can be as comfortable as possible on this tour.

5.0 Amazing Bike tour!

karolineb820, December 2023

Our tour guide Daniel met us at Cafe Coco Cola promptly at 10:30 this morning. He brought some bikes and adjusted them for us and off we went. Although I was a bit skeptical about navigating the traffic in Casca Vieja, we just followed Daniel and it was easy and relaxing. We stopped at many sights to hear about the history and significance. Plenty of time to take photos and ask questions. We saw a lot! Without this vale tour, we would have missed many interesting things here! Daniel guided us with a smile!

5.0 Best way to explore Casco Viejo

Hanifia_C, October 2023

If I could rate this higher I would! Definitely the best way to see the Casco Viejo. Everything was 10 out of 10. The host was patent, professional and very knowledgeable about all the points of interests. I hadn’t ridden in a while so I was a bit rusty. Not once did I feel rushed during the tour. I also got to try some local dishes and beverages along the way. Bonus points for the awesome pics he took of me ( solo traveler).. This tour is a must try if you are visiting Panama.

5.0 A must do in Panama!

Jerri_M, September 2023

If you are thinking of this tour I recommend just do it! I was a little anxious to ride a bike in a city I was unfamiliar with. However, Daniel went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and made sure we made plenty of stops to check in. We stopped at several locations and Daniel shared the history in detail and was very thorough. He is also great at taking pictures so I was able to capture some amazing photos of the city and Casco Viejo! Overall I give this tour a 10/10! This was my favorite tour by far! Thanks Daniel for the wonderful experience!

5.0 Bike tour Panama city

annakL7762OR, August 2023

A very nice trip with guide Daniël. Had good English explanations and made interesting stops, where Daniël also paid close attention to safety in the sometimes busy traffic. Recommended.

5.0 Best Panama bike tour

sq3000, June 2023

Overall great tour and workout. Daniel took us all around panama and we stopped at a local restaurant for some delicious snapper and Pina colada.

5.0 Awesome bike tour and even more awesome guide!

Isadora_B, May 2023

Daniel was an awesome guide! Super kind and charismatic and spoke good English. He had an abundance of recommendations for restaurants, live music, stores, tours…anything you can think of. The bike ride itself was very doable and not super strenuous. We did stop quite a bit to look at different sites. Daniel shared a lot about the history of each site and the meaning of certain sculptures, etc. You also get to stop for a natural juice tasting, which was wonderful. Daniel is super helpful and goes above and beyond. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour, totally worth it!

5.0 Best Bike Tour Guide In Panamá!!

Amanda_K, April 2023

Our guide Daniel was great. As the two token English speakers in the group he went out of his way to make sure we understood what he was explaining. He was exceptional really. Our only concern was the Viator departure point was different (about a 15 min walk) from the actual departure point. Luckily Daniel made contact through WhatsApp prior so we could adjust.

5.0 Very good! 100% recommended

javiertR7918BD, April 2023

Extraordinary activity to tour the Old Town, learn about the history and curiosities with a playful and very friendly guide, Daniel helped me a lot, it is nice to run into good people on the trips. 100% recommended.

5.0 Biking with friends of Panama

ricardomoyaquiroga, March 2023

This Panama-Tour with Daniel felt like riding with friends. Daniel is a perfect host, he told us historical facts, gave us hints for the city, talked about how is live in the current days & circumstances. During the tour we meet many people and all said very friendly "hello" to him

5.0 100% recommend this tour

MrMorgan146, March 2023

Had a wonderful afternoon with our guide Daniel, who took us through all of the Casco Viejo district, as well as the Cinta Costera, where we got great views of the city. We stopped at the Mercado de Mariscos and got the chance to cool off and eat some good, fresh Panamanian Ceviche. I fully recommend this tour, because Daniel is very knowledgeable when it comes to explaining the history behind all of the sites, buildings, monuments, etc, he speaks both English and Spanish, his bikes are well maintained, and he is very attentive and friendly. He also recommended to us many places to eat, relax, and enjoy oneself around Panamá. 100% worth the price.

5.0 Nice bikes, great guide, awesome tour

Norbert_B, March 2023

We defenitily enjoyed the tour. Daniel has been a great guide and we have been able to learn a lot from him about places, history, culture and people. Highly recommended!!

5.0 Great guide and the tour is well worth the time and money

Joseph V, December 2022

The bike ride was great and Daniel made it even better. We got to see a lot of really cool stuff and Daniel knew quite a bit if the history of all the places we went. We stopped for some great food and got a lot of great pictures along the way. Highly recommend this tour with him!
