We had a wonderful day starting in Santiago where the company picked us up right on time. The driving, knowledge and communication were all top notch throughout the day including sharing just the right spots to take photos. We visited a vineyard where we were treated so well and then a walking tour around Valparaiso and lunch overlooking the ocean in Vina del Mar. Overall it was a wonderful day and exactly the professionalism and personal touch we were looking for. Would hire this company again in the future and I would recommend to a friend.

This was the best money I have ever spent on a private tour! My husband and I hired HecTour for the day because we wanted to explore Valdivia, Viña del Mar, and make a stop at a winery. We were interested in something that was private and flexible. Our guide arrived at our hotel right on time with a very nice clean and comfortable vehicle stocked with water. He was so knowledgeable and informative, as well as ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the day. We had never been to the area and it was the way to go— you will learn a ton! I’ve done group tours before and sometimes it takes over an hour to pick up everyone from their hotels before you ever even go anywhere! Spend a little extra and book these guys! You will be so happy you did.

The day trip to Valparaiso from Santiago was a highlight of our time in the Santiago area. This is a must do experience if spending time in this area of Chile. The city is very unique and walking through the streets and gazing at the murals with the ocean in the background is wonderful. Valparaiso is a must see for a unique experience and amazing, unique art. Our private guide provided lots of information and history about Chile as we drove in the Valparaiso town and beach areas. The highlight of the trip was walking around the UNESCO designated portion of Valparaiso, where narrow streets are lined with artistic buildings and historic architecture. Our guide showed us the most famous murals and unique artistry. It was an excellent and enjoyable tour.

I took a private tour to Valparaiso, Vina Del Mar and a winery in Casablanca with Juan Catalan as my guide. It was excellent! Hector provided everything I needed with short notice. I was picked up on my schedule from the Holiday Inn airport, as I would fly home that night. I had an idea of what I wanted to see and Juan delivered! This is a long day, so plan accordingly. I spent over an hour at the Fonck Museum in Vina looking at the excellent exhibit on Easter Island, the best anywhere. Juan drove through the highlights of Valparaiso (few, in my opinion). He brought me to a nice overview and walk atop an old funicular where I found some great handmade lapis lazuli souvenirs. Nice quiet spot for lunch. Then to the small family run winery for a quick tour and tasting. Back at the hotel 9 hours later. I highly recommend this company and my genial guide Juan who spoke excellent English and provided good information as well as conversation and insight into Chilean history.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared with us a lot of interesting history and culture of the places we saw. He took us to a a vineyard in Casablanca because we asked about wine growing in the area, even though that was not in the original plan. He also showed us Con Con, a lovely town nearby and again not on the original list of places to visit. We had a wonderful lunch by the ocean -- excellent food and a fantastic view! He gave us plenty of time to see everything we wanted. And with the additional sites, he spent over 11 hours with us. We had a wonderful day!

One day private tour - we were picked up in Santiago in an exceptionally clean Mercedes van. Our guide Hector spoke perfect English. He created a tour to fit our interests. First to Valparaiso where he knew all the places to go. We enjoyed walking the streets to view all the murals and enjoyed the funicular rides. Then to Vina del Mar for lunch at a shoreside restaurant with FRESH shellfish and fish. The whole time, he spoke about the history, culture and traditions of Chile. We booked the Valparaiso and Vina del Mar Full-Day Private Guided Tour with HecTour Service because there were so many great reviews of the tour company and the itinerary really maximized all that we wanted to see in the short period of time that we were touring Santiago, Chile and vicinity. All of the great reviews of the tour company and the full day tour are 100% accurate. Without a doubt, we will use HecTour Service again when we are in Chile. Our experience with the tour company was 100% positive from the moment we booked the tour online. Within one hour of making the online reservation late in the evening, we received a personalized email confirmation from the tour company with additional contact information for using WhatsApp. Based on this great communication from the beginning, we started texting and emailing back and forth asking about transportation to and from Valle Nevado and the tour company was so helpful and responsive that we ended up booking two more days with them. While in Chile, one member of our group of four (2 couples) needed to delay the start time of the Valparaiso and Vina del Mar Full-Day Private Guided Tour and our tour guide was super understanding and adjusted the tour times to meet our schedules. Once the tour started, our tour guide worked with us to adjust the itinerary so we would be sure to get the experience that suited us the best. Since we had visited three wineries in Casablanca Valley the day before and we were getting a later than planned start, our tour guide suggested that we cross Casablanca Valley off of our itinerary for the day and start the tour with a scenic drive to Valparaiso with a super casual lunch of fried empanadas at Las Empanadas Famosas in Valparaiso. This lunch is not included in the price of the tour as indicated in the original reservation. Our tour guide gave us several options for lunch with one option being a nice and scenic lunch with a view but we had enjoyed a beautiful and elegant lunch the day before and did not want to spend our day sitting in a formal restaurant. The fried empanada lunch gave us an opportunity to experience Valparaiso like a local. The entire day in Valparaiso was just what we needed and wanted. The July weather was perfect for walking the city and experiencing the funiculars and public bus system while learning about the history of the city. The itinerary listed on the tour description is very accurate and complete and the tour guide is willing to work with you and your group to ensure that you have the experience that suits you the best. Our tour guide was fluent in English, very knowledgeable, good natured, and had a wonderful sense of humor and a pleasant disposition. It was evident throughout the entire tour that the guide really enjoyed sharing the best parts of his home with visitors from all over the world. Before dropping us off at our hotel at the end of the tour, our guide asked us if we wanted any dinner ideas and one member of our group indicated that he was craving pizza. Our guide suggested Pizzeria Tiramisu which turned out to be a great recommendation. After this tour with our guide, we were so happy that we had reserved HecTour Service for two more days of touring outside of Santiago, Chile. Since HecTour Service was so easy to communicate with before our trip to Chile, we decided to book their services for transporting us to a condo we rented for a ski trip to Valle Nevado. Our tour guide picked us up from our Santiago hotel after we checked out and drove us to a large supermarket nearby. He helped us shop for our groceries for the ski trip and drove us up to the ski resort with all of our luggage and food supplies. He was very hospitable and made our trip up the mountain very memorable. The third reservation we made with HecTour Service was another full day tour that the company put together for us based on our needs while visiting Chile. The company made arrangements to pick us up from our ski vacation in Valle Nevado and give us a full day tour before our evening flight home. We had mentioned to our guide earlier in the week that we would like to try Chilean King Crab, so our first stop off the mountain was El Galeon at the Central Market for a very memorable dining experience. I highly recommend anyone visiting Santiago try El Galeon for the Chilean King Crab. After the filling lunch, our tour guide took us to Santa Lucia Hill Park for a nice walk and view of the city. HecTour Service was aware that our group had already taken the double decker bus tour of Santiago on our first day in town after we landed early in the morning, so our tour guide was thoughtful in taking us to parts of the city that we had not seen yet on that bus tour. Since we had not really had a chance to walk around downtown and Plaza de Armas, our tour guide took us on a great walking tour which included stopping by Cafe Haiti for Cafecitos, taking in the sites of Plaza de Armas, and the history of Constitution Place. During this final day of touring, we found out that our evening flight had been rescheduled to the following morning. Our guide was very patient and understanding and helped us make arrangements for a hotel for the evening, suggested another great restaurant for dinner (La Cabrera), and made arrangements for a driver from their company to pick us up in the morning and take us to the airport. We were so happy to find HecTour Service and to enjoy the sights with the guide they scheduled to work with us. After spending so much time with our guide, we learned that HecTour Service will also help us plan future trips to other parts of Chile which we are interested in visiting. We will definitely use HecTour Service again in the future and look forward to planning our next adventure to Chile with their assistance.

I was on a tour and some of us decided to take a tour on the last day before the flight. This was a wonderful tour! We got picked up at the Holiday Inn at the airport. The operator clearly communicated us the time of pickup and was promptly came to get us. Hector was our driver and guide. He was super knowledgeable and explained to us about the areas we passed by, history and cultural aspects and more. Once we got to Valparaiso, he drove us around the narrow and steep streets very skillfully again explaining the area. Then we got to walk around. He explained each art and let us stop and take a look at the shops and arts as much as we wanted. He took us some cool pictures too! He took us to a wonderful place over looking the sea for lunch.
