I am a local resident and repeat customer who has enjoyed this tour many times over the years. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was disappointing. The issue was never that I might get wet. I fully understand this is a high-speed boat attraction, and I have ridden many times. I understand wind direction, wind speed, windward and leeward positioning, passenger placement, and how those factors affect the amount of spray passengers receive. In the past, captains have appreciated these discussions and have professionally accommodated passengers who preferred either a drier ride or a wetter experience. There is a significant difference between being positioned directly behind the captain and being positioned elsewhere on the vessel. The captain’s choices and passenger placement play an important role in balancing passenger comfort while still delivering the full wet-and-wild experience for those who want it. Instead of listening, staff repeatedly and aggressively told me that I was “going to get wet.” That completely missed the point I was trying to make. Once someone identifies themselves as a local repeat customer who understands boating conditions, the exaggerated tourist sales pitch should stop and an actual conversation should begin. I repeatedly requested that a captain or supervisor be consulted. Based on my many prior experiences, I believe a captain would have immediately understood the discussion regarding wind direction, passenger positioning, and ride experience. My requests were denied. The situation became increasingly confrontational. I was told not to educate an adult individual at the kiosk regarding nautical terminology, despite my attempt to explain a legitimate concern. I found that response dismissive and unprofessional. Staff working in a marine attraction should understand basic nautical terminology, wind direction, and how those factors affect the passenger experience. I was also uncomfortable being recorded. I did not record any staff members. I did not consent to being recorded, posted on social media, or otherwise used in recordings. No finalized agreement, waiver, refund agreement, or consent form was ever completed during this interaction. Rather than attempting to de-escalate the situation, staff called security and threatened police removal. As a long-time customer, I found that response excessive and unnecessary. The refund paperwork was never finalized. I became frustrated and tore up the refund slip. The pieces were not thrown at any employee. Wind conditions carried some of the torn paper in the direction of staff. What makes this particularly disappointing is that I had planned to spend approximately $200 during this outing, just for fare and  gratuities for the crew and staff. Instead, after this experience, that money was spent elsewhere that evening. The restaurant staff who served me at dinner ultimately received the gratuity that I had intended to leave with the tour operation. That outcome was unfortunate because my intention had been to support the crew, but the customer service I received changed that decision. I expect better customer service, professionalism, respect, and conflict de-escalation from a business I have supported for years. Management should review this incident, including any recordings, the refusal to allow access to a captain or supervisor, and the conduct of the staff involved.

Not the thrill we expected. When I booked, it seemed like the thrill boat ride would get you wet and be more of an exciting overall experience. However, it ended up feeling more like a sightseeing tour, which is what I was trying to avoid. In my opinion, the tour was kind of boring.

Easy to find in the Bayside market area. I had bought tickets in advance online, when i went to check-in, I was told there was a minimum of 12 people needed to ride. They gave us a discount drink card for a bar nearby. Luckily, when my time slot came, we had enough people for the boat to go out! Nice scenery, it takes you by star island, pointing out celebrity mansions such as J.Lo, Rick Ross, Gloria Estefan and more along the Miami skyline. In total about 45 mins, speeding up through the water and slowing down in the marina. Fun for kids and tourists.

Always a thrilling experience when we ride the thriller, you don’t really get wet if you’re sitting in the middle. You will get occasional splashes from the back. Great tour to see the homes up close and a thrilling speed at certain times! Would recommend !

We had an amazing time. The host were great & weather was beautiful. Would recommend getting there early if you’re not familiar with the area because parking can be very confusing. The stand is also inside of the mall, towards the middle. Great experience

The experience was great, and the people who provided the excursion were VERY helpful. I had to call the people at the Thiller boat ride and their customer service was 100%, I got lost trying to find the port it left from and the young lady who answered the the phone was kind enough to stay on the phone with me and guide me right to where the boat was docked. The guys operating the boat were great 👍🏾 and one of them personally came and let us know that we would get the wettest because where we were seated — and he was RIGHT! We did donuts in the water and with every turn we got wet, we also drove at exhilarating speeds. It was definitely worth it. TIP: If you want to get soaked, sit in the back on the right-hand side, LAST ROW. Also, if you book the 7:30 ride, you’ll catch the sunset 🌇 Enjoy

Sadly! Our boat ride got canceled due to the weather but we did get to ride only for a few minutes. It was very fun for the few minutes we did have. Drove an hour to be there early and on time. Texted us 20 minutes before launch to tell us boat was rescheduled for maintenance issues..no apology..attitude was bad. Wasted parking fees, time and gas. Won't ever book with them again. Ruined a bucket list item.

The experience is excellent. However, the driver called Mr Alex? was quite rude and condescending, and needs to work on his manners. One of the seat cushions was on the ground, and he made us transfer to that seat after picking it up and placing it there after stating "its a boat, its always going to be dirty" If hygiene is not important for you, great. But don't force this on other people. The other guide and co pilot were great, and narrated the experience well. But the driver (alex) was unprofessional

Drove 45 minutes paid tolls and parking only to be told that they wouldn't be giving the tour because they didn't have 15 people. They didn't tell me this when I spoke on the phone an hour and a half earlier that maybe I should come for the earlier tour because they didn't have enough people. I also got a text a half hour before that I need to hurry to check in!! Unbelievably frustrating waste of time and money!!

Wonderful experience! The admission is very reasonable. Loved the atmosphere and our captain was very fun and engaging. The crowd was perfect and we still had seats left. The staff is very friendly. Before you even begin the tour the staff call and check on you to make sure you have the exact directions to the dock. The best tour to book if you want to see downtown Miami, beautiful homes, and nice yachts. I would definitely book again!

The main road to get to the location was closed so took longer and parking will be hard to find on the street so the parking garage on the premise is the way to go which is 10$ an hour. Finding the booth to check in was simple and the worker was informative but seemed a tad bit lost. Our trip was for 11am but we didn't head out until 11:10 but we got back 11:54 pretty sure so it was the 45mins that was payed for. Our guides were fun and kept it interesting with the facts, I did enjoy the expereince but definitely would have wanted a longer trip since the part where we were pretend racing only happened once the rest was going fast,splashing and going side to side.
