Everything was Great. We arrived in Coxen Hole and were notified that Danny would be waiting for us. As soon as we exited the Port gates Danny was waiting for us with a sign. He led us to an awaiting van were Fernando, our driver for both legs of the drive, picked us up, We were taken to Mahogany Bay and fitted for our first adventure the the Zipline. Everything very professional and safety was paramount. Danny and Alexander led up the hill and through the zipline course. We then chose to proceed with the ATV which was also a nice couse down to the ocean front. The ATV's were great as were the guides, We concluded with the Horseback riding through the local fauna and down to the beach and into the water for some great picture opportunities. Can't say enough about the guides. Fernando escorted us safely back to Coxen Hole with several hours to spare before our ships departure. Glad to recommend Xplore Roatan!!!

They accommodated our change to the afternoon due to weather so we would t miss a water activity which we appreciated very much! We went on a Sunday and had the place to ourselves which was amazing! Jay and Harold on the zipline were absolutely fantastic!! Funny as hell and the best guides for the zipline. Kiven was great on the horseback ride! And we didn’t catch our guides name for the ATVs but he was also such a good time. We ripped around in the puddles and on the beach. I thought we were going to have to take it easy which I was hoping we didn’t 😂 but we got to rip fast, do donuts, and laugh while mud was caked on our bodies from the night before rain!! Thank you so much and highly recommend the ultimate trio package. Was well worth it and our favorite excursion on our western Caribbean cruise so far! ROATAN! ♥️🫶🏻

The staff was really nice and I felt safe with the equipment. The pick-up near the boat was okay. There are a lot of service providers in the same pick-up area and they helped me find Xplore Roatan. One of them new the operator and called them for me to help me find the exact location. I bought the pictures at the end of the tour, but most of them were a little out of focus. I think the pictures from my phone were much better, but I didn't have pictures of myself. I had a lot of fun. I would recommend it to everybody.

One unexpected highlight? The guides were kind enough to use my camera to snap photos during the ride—something I appreciated in the moment. I wasn't later hassled toward purchasing pricey professional shots, which feels a bit exploitative considering you already have your own camera . All in all, I cant think pf anything bad to say! The ride to the excursion site was smooth and comfortable, and the driver went above and beyond—making stops at a pharmacy and even pulling over for fresh pupusas, which were a delicious bonus. That kind of flexibility and local touch made the whole experience feel more personal and connected. Overall, it was a memorable adventure with breathtaking views without any quirks. If you’re looking for a mix of thrill, tranquility, and a taste of local flavor, this one delivers!

Worst experience ever on 7/8/25 I didn’t get to do a horseride because I was thrown off and the horse fell of me afterward, and I left with an injured knee, bruises and scratches all over. Staff said nothing they can do even after being on the horse and requesting a new one multiple times. Justin and Josh were the best for zip lining. They let me take my time to get comfortable. Duren was nice with ATV. he let you know when to slow down and went a great pace. We took my son and daughter ages 12 and 9 and we were not disappointed! The ATVs were so much fun even if we got covered in mud and be zip lines were awesome! The kids were able to participate in everything and loved the full experience. The pickup was hectic since we had a communication issue, but we worked it out and had no problem after that. The transfer van was nice with powerful AC! Overall, this was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it!

If you have doubts about what to do in Honduras (Roatan). DO THIS EXCURSION!!! Or at least just the ATV. We did all three! Zip lining, horseback riding, and ATV. Justin and Jerome kicked us off on the zip lining which was awesome!!! 6 lines through the forest with beautiful sights to see. The horseback riding was longer than any trip we have done before (not necessary to do but still a lot of fun) and through a beautiful forest. If anything DO THE ATV with Crazy Joe aka Steve!!!!! Best excursion our family has ever been on! Crazy Joe was an amazing host and somehow my family and I (4) ended up on a private tour. Make sure to bring swimsuits for a dip in a secluded beach. Kudos again to Steve who went back for my mom’s glasses after all the shenanigans that we got up to on the trip. ~ The crazy family covered in mud

Very disorganized, we stood in the rain and couldn’t find the guide. A lot of waiting around, we purchased the ultimate for all three activities and was only able to complete ziplining then had to go back to port. They did however refund my money with no issue.

Originally booked our horseback riding excursion with Royal but due to weight limit restriction we had to cancel the day before the excursion so I booked with Viator for the first time. Given the positive reviews we chose Xplore Roatan. We got to do 2 additional excursions for the same price of my original booking with Royal. We had quick and easy communication with Xplore before were picked up from Port of Roatan. Although it rained during the horseback riding and ATV ride they still let us complete our excursion. All the staff were friendly and fun! Overall it was a wonderful experience and I definitely recommend booking!

This was one best excursions we did during our 7 day cruise. Starting with the pickup at the cruise terminal was seamless. My wife and I did the whole package that is: Zipline, ATV, Horseback Riding. All three excursions were a blast. The whole thing was almost 3hrs long (we definitely got more than our money’s worth). The tour guides were very nice and patient with everyone. I couldn’t have asked for better guides. The zipline was a lot of fun. Nice long zip lines that will take u over the jungle, some of the lines were very fast and thrilling and some had great view. All around very satisfying zip line experience. The Horseback riding was so much fun. The horses were very well trained and cared for, made the horse ride very seamless especially for those that are not that comfortable with horses. Riding the horses inside the ocean was definitely a unique experience. Highly recommended excursion. Last but not least was the ATV ride. Now, this was so much fun, got some mud on us and the got some great photos on the way. Again, highly recommend excursion especially for the price.

Where do I begin? We knew we were in for a fun day but we didn't have an idea it would be this fun! It had just rained so the ATV trails were nice and messy for 4 wheeling. We enjoyed slinging mud on one another! We were taken to a beautiful private cove to wash ourselves off. The ziplines were long and soooo much fun! Then finishing off with a relaxing horseback stroll through the trails, and eventually the horses took us to a different private cove and galloped in the waves! We've been talking about the memories made from this excursion ever since!

My mom and I had such a fun time with all of the activities included in this excursion. If you are looking for picturesque activities, look no further but be careful with your camera as you will get muddy and the horses will take you for a ride! Despite my mom’s fear of heights, the staff (Bruce) were so patient with her and willing to talk her through the whole zipline process. Additionally, the staff is more than willing to accommodate for persons with disabilities during the activities. Overall, I would recommend this to adrenaline junkies and anyone wanting to enjoy the nature that Roatan has to offer.

Everything about this company was great. The gear, ATV's were new and well taken care of. Horse's were well maintained. The horse back ride in the ocean was amazing. Staff were on point with all of your needs. One thing they need to work on is better signage, it was hard to find them with all the tour groups outside the gates. Other than that you would be silly to go anywhere else.... oh and price was way more than fair......

This was an amazing adventure. From riding th horses to ATV riding all the way down to zip lining, my family had fun. They enjoyed the park thoroughly. The tour guides for all the events were very respectful and they made sure the kids were safe. Cant express how beautiful the horseback riding on the beach was when it came to the views. It was such a beautiful scenery. Then the riding through the jungle on the ATVs was breathtaking. To ride on the coast of the island then get a little time in the play area was exciting. The ziplines were long and allow us to see the coast from a topographical view. The angle from the sky allowed us to see the different colors of the see and it was an immaculate perspective. I would recommend this place and I will definitely come back again.

I was a little worried at first because I had not received any communication on what to do, where to go, what to expect from the tour operator. So I reached out to Xplore Roatan and was able to connect with someone there who apologized and said he wasn't sure why he had not received my messages through Viator but was going to look into it. After giving me a Whatsapp number, I had no problem with communication after that. One important note, especially if you are cruising and new to booking outside the cruise line, is to make sure when you are looking for your sign for transportation that there is an Explore Roatan and an Xplore Roatan. Do not mix these up! They are not the same. Make sure you have the name of the driver that is picking you up and ask for a photo of the sign they are holding. Roatan can be a little intimidating and honestly scary. I wish someone had prepared us the first time for what to expect. You will walk outside the comforts of the port to the side of a narrow road with cars and people all around you. You will likely walk a couple blocks down and get into someone's personal vehicle. They will be your personal driver for the trip. Now for the actual adventure. We were given the choice of what order to do things. They recommended we go ahead and do the horses first since there were other large tour groups that we would have a more private experience. We had one couple with our family of 4 and it was great! The horse back ride took us through the jungle, the beach and through the ocean. This was a much more fuller experience than my husband and I had had years ago with a horseback ride on the beach. I had read lots of reviews of other ATV tours with some other ports that we were also visiting. They talked about ATVs that broke down constantly and boring hot rides through the streets. We had a great ride through the jungle trails and around the beach. Not as fast as my teens would have liked to go, :) but plenty fast enough! And then the zip line was by far our favorite! This was my first time to go on a zipline but I think we had 6-8 platforms and from what I read these were lengthy zip lines, (I only grabbed photo of one sign and it said 900 ft). The scenery was amazing, the guides took incredible photos and videos of each of us at all the lines. And they were SOO funny - making the entire experience relaxing and fun! Each adventure, the guides stopped to take our photos and we were given an opportunity to enjoy the scenery instead of being rushed. We did bring plenty of cash to tip each of the guides (5 total for 3 adventures) at the recommended $20 each. Recommendations: I kept my phone in a water tight case that I wore around my neck to take lots of photos. We brought bug spray but they did have some there. Of course sunscreen too. We kept our water bottle and personal items in a small locker on site (not included). They do sell bottled drinks there too. Your shoes will get wet on the horse ride through the ocean so we all wore shoes that we didn't mind getting wet. I luckily brought a small package of bandaids with me because I did get blisters from walking while wearing wet shoes and no socks. The total time at the park was just over 4 hrs. So we still had time to add a stop at a restaurant near the port on our way back. *I did not like that our driver had told us we could leave our stuff in the car. Then proceeded to take the couple that had been on the Horseback ride and atv tour with us (they started earlier than us and had already done the ziplines) back to a restaurant to eat. Then back to the ship while we were at the restaurant to eat. Luckily I had taken our valuables out of the car and locked them in the locker - but we had left our other bags of personal belongings, change of clothes, etc. in the back seat while we were at Xplore Roatan. We had to wait for him to pick us up when we were done with the ziplines because he had taken off without our knowledge. Had we had an emergency and needed to leave, he would not have been there. We've booked a tour outside the cruise line in Roatan before and our driver was only our driver. She waited the entire time we were snorkeling and visiting sloths then came and ate with us at the restaurant after. I feel like this should have been communicated if we were going to be sharing a vehicle with people outside our party.

The staff at Ultimate Adventures is hands down the BEST! And I don’t use the term “BEST” to describe anything loosely. All 3 activities were top notch ~ in my opinion. We started off riding ATVs. They never said we couldn’t drive fast. Some of us did, some of us didn’t. It was a lot of hills, turns, & bumps, but it was so fun! Our tour guide was super cool. I hate I didn’t get his name, but he was the one that had a brace on his left knee. Then there was the horseback riding. Now listen carefully ~ when I say I am TERRIFIED of horses ~ I AM; however, riding a horse AND in the ocean has always been on my “to do” bucket list. I expressed my fears & concerns to one of the workers (Terell) & asked him if he would go with me or ride me on one with him. He explained to me that he couldn’t ride with me, BUT he would go alongside of me so I could ride the horse (whose name is Rhianna). I thought he was joking at first. He was not! He literally walked the horse holding the rope as I rode the trail. And let me tell you, it was not a short walk. I even told him we could turn around & go back, & that I was ok with that. He politely said, “Ma’am, you paid for this excursion, I’m going to finish it for you.” I didn’t want him to have to keep walking in the heat, but he did, just so I could get the full experience. When I say he provided TOP NOTCH, ABOVE & BEYOND customer service, he did!! Although I’m totally ok with NEVER riding a horse again, I would again & again, if that meant having Terell walking with me, keeping me calm & making me feel safe, & riding Rhianna. He is a great asset to the team & a blessing to have. I pray many, many blessings over him, his life, & his family! Thank you so very much, Terell! =) Lastly, were the ziplines. There are 6 total. We had Alexander & if I remember correctly, the other guy’s name was Robbie (please forgive me if that’s not it. I know it started with an “r”). I really, really enjoyed this excursion, as it was easy to get to the next zipline. No planks to walk over! Woohoo! They had steps, which wasn’t too bad at all, coming from someone who never works out, but should! The views were breathtaking. I must say that the last one we did was my favorite. It was the longest, that took us over the water, & we landed on a rooftop. That was the coolest thing. These 2 young men ensured our safety & explained everything to us to perfection. Every single person we encountered was very professional. This will be a time to remember. I can’t thank them enough for my/our great experience. Please tip them! Oh, just an FYI ~ You do NOT need to ride a shuttle out of the secured area. As soon as you walk through the exit point under the covered walkway leading you to transportation, if you keep walking straight, you’ll run right into Ultimate Adventures. We paid $22 for someone to take us outside of the secured area for nothing, thinking we had to be picked up from another point. That man knew good & hell well that we didn’t need to go anywhere. He made some quick cash to do absolutely nothing but take us away from the port.

I know it seems sketchy with only a few reviews but me and my partner took a leap of faith and went on this tour and it was unbelievable amazing. Do everything including the zip line. It was cheap but tips were not included. They have lockers or you can bring your own waterproof bags. The horses are trained well where you don’t have to guide them. They even provided bug spray which was helpful. Not busy on the weekend so me and my partner was in and out.

The zip lining, the ATVs and the horseback riding were all adventures worth doing and the value was awesome for the combined option. So easy to get to - right outside of the main area across the street. If you are traveling to Mahogany Bay via cruise- be sure to make this part of your trip. This is a must when you visit Roatan. We had the absolute best time. We were the only ones on the tour and our guide Christopher from Xplore Roatan stayed with us the entire time. The zip line, ATV, and horseback guides were amazing. Zip lining was cool, but the ATVs and riding horses in the ocean was an unforgettable experience. They gave us pictures of each activity and took us to lunch. We definitely got our monies worth.
