Such a fun experience! We’ve never done hydrobikes but they were super easy and fun to use. They first took us around the bay, and once we got back we joined another group to go snorkeling. It’s a drift snorkel—still some kicking required—but the current takes you along the shallow edge of the reef. Then they drop you off on one of the French keys where you can buy lunch, swim, or purchase other activities. The only reason I rated it a 4 is because you probably need to have data to communicate with the company. They were super great at arranging transportation, and making sure we got back from the key on the ferry, but I’m glad I had data so I could respond. Otherwise, it was a perfect afternoon!

Hydrobikes were super fun! It was nice that it included transportation to and from port. (For pick up, you have to walk out of port and up and partially down a hill but really wasn't too far. Drop off was in port! For snorkeling group, it was hard to see group leader. He needed a bright vest or some way to easily spot him. Water was clear and saw lots of fish! Private beach was nice. It was at Brady's cay in the French keys.

Excellent excursion! First time using Viator for cruise excursion and wow it exceeded our expectations. Received text night before with confirmation of all details, meeting point and even a picture of what to look for next day. Everything was as described, smooth, no stress with plenty of time to make it back. Our driver even discussed best plan for when to get back as to avoid traffic and delays. The activities itself were great. Hydrobike was fun, great activity and there was even a tandem hydrobike that our friends choose instead of the single bikes. We went at a nice leisurely pace, nothing too strenuous. Snorkeling was fun with lots of fish and coral. Beach very relaxing. Highly recommend!

Excellent experience! Victor, our guide, supernice and very accommodating! Made a stop at local grocery store at my request. Nice, modern AC transportation near Port. Hydrobikes superfun and easy. Very stable and nice trip, great exercise. Snorkling equipment clean and well maintained. Beach Club nice, not overly crowded. Beach is rocky, recommend wearing water shoes.

Fantastic experience! From the time Victor picked us up at the port to the time we returned everything was perfect. The hydrobikes were easy to use and offered the perfect way to view the area at a leisurely place. Our guide was engaging but also allowed us to just soak the beauty. The beach portion of the day at Brady’s cay was also amazing. Beautiful little beach with plenty of chairs, crystal clear water and great service. I highly recommend this.

This experience is great. We were on a cruise and the pick up was smooth -Victor met us outside the gate as the communication prior to the event said. The hydrobike was a fun time and easy (I am not a work-out person. I would say you have to have some minor stamina but no one in our group had issues. The seat is fairly large as well). Then off to snorkel. We were a small group so there was plenty of room to swim and view the reef. Great views of fish and the reef. Then we were dropped off at the beach. Victor allowed us as much or little time as we liked. Traffic and busyness can dictate the time on the beach. The beach had food and drinks available for purchase. Victor then took us back to the pier inside the gate. There honestly was no down-side to this excursion. Definitely book this with confidence. (I would recommend bringing extra cash for tips, if you bless people with them - bike, snorkel and beach all had different people involved)

We had an amazing time on this experience from start to finish. Riding the hydro bike was such a fun and unique way to explore the water, and the snorkeling was incredible with vibrant coral reefs and so many beautiful fish. Ending the experience at a stunning beach was the perfect way to relax and take it all in. Victor and Alex were both fantastic—friendly, professional, and made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. We were picked up from the cruise terminal by a nice young man ( Alex) who drove us to the bikes while telling us about the island. We were the only people they had so yay! private tour for us. At the pier we met our guide, Josh. After a quick visit exclamation we were off. The bikes were a lot of fun and easy to use. The water is nice and clear. You paddle around a bay like area protecting by one of the biggest reef. Josh explained the area, reef and fish life. Once back on dry land, you are taken out to said reef for snorkeling time. I didn’t do it (scaredy cat) but my husband did and really liked it. Guides were great Jordan and his crew were very attentive. One led our group, one took up the rear so everyone stayed together and safe. Lots of beautiful fish and colors. Only downside was jellyfish. Several people and a couple of kids started getting stung. Jordan used the boat to circle around the group which churned the water to chase them away. It worked. They were patient and the experience lasted probably a half hour in the water. More than enough time to be tired out. After you take a boat to French Cay (3 minute ride) and have about 2 hours to use they’re small beach. There were loungers, food and drinks. They take credit cards. Your free to take the water taxi at any time back to the shore. We just made it before the rain started. We met up with Alex at the agreed upon time and he drove us back to our ship. We were out probably 4 1/2 hours. Overall a nice day. All the staff were great and we had a positive experience. Kids would enjoy this excursion.

This was a really fun experience. The team that helped us with very friendly and helpful and guided us every step of the way. They explained everything beforehand and stayed with us. Hydro bikes and the reef snorkel were definitely one of the best excursions I've been around. The only issue was with the private island retreat part as there was an unprecedented number of cruise ships in the area and they funneled a whole bunch of people to the beach so that part was not really worth it, but we would still do it again anyway and highly recommend this excursion for the whole family.

Our drivers (married couple) were absolutely amazing! So personable, fun, knowledgeable, and helpful. Truly the best ride back to our ship. We absolutely loved them! They were always there to assist and available to answer any questions and met us at the end of each part of the tour. The weather was a bit rainy but were able to get the hydrobikes and the snorkeling complete before the rain. The Hydrobikes were great and we saw so many beautiful fish while snorkeling. It was an awesome experience and would highly recommend.

It was raining when our cruise ship arrived at Coxen Hole. We weren’t sure we would be able to do anything but went ahead and met our driver. He contacted Mark and they made alternate arrangements to start our day. We went to the sloth/monkey farm and the weather had cleared so we continued on to the Hydro-Bikes. After that our driver, Alex, took us to the local brewery! 12/10 stars to everyone associated with our visit!

Four of us just got back from the hydrobike/snorkeling/beach tour and it was absolutely amazing. The hydrobikes were easy to pedal and Alex was a great guide! Next was the snorkeling along the reef. Some of the best snorkeling we have done. Saw so many colorful fish and beautiful coral. Loren was a great guide, and Larry was our friendly captain. Also got to meet the owner Mark. Last but not least was our wonderful driver Victor. He was a pro and so nice to talk to. You must go on this adventure!

This was a great tour. Only myself, my partner and another friend were together on this and apparently no one else on our cruise boat signed up for this one so we had our tour guide, Wanda all to ourselves. This was terrific as she drove us first to the hydro bikes which were a lot of fun and very easy to use, then to our snorkeling tour which was incredible (we were in the water for about 40 minutes about 15 ft above the reef, our guide pointed out so many lovely fish and it was kind of magical seeing so many lovely species), and finally she met us at the beach we were dropped out at to be there for us when we wanted to get back to the ship. It was a great tour and we'd highly recommend doing it with this tour!

We really enjoyed this excursion. The length of the hydronic was perfect and a fun new experience. Highlight was the snorkel on the reef with Lauren. I only wish I had an underwater camera. So many fish. Best snorkeling I’ve ever done The beach was perfect too. Had food, drinks and bathroom facilities. We enjoyed the Parrot and McCaws who live on the island beef Out driver Victoria who picked us up and took us back to port was great. I would recommend this to all.

The owner Mark was wonderful to communicate with and answered my questions promptly! Our driver, Kendall, was AMAZING! He went above and beyond throughout the entire day! We were having a 21st birthday party for my daughter and he, along with all of the employees we encountered at each location made her feel very special. Our first stop was to see the sloths and monkeys..you must get in the fenced areas with the monkeys!! They are crazy!!! A quick stop at a local gas station to fill up on local treats and drinks and then we headed to the bikes!! The bikes were super fun and an actual workout. The guided bike tour took us to see abandoned boats, resorts and even white tigers! After the tour we headed to snorkel and then to the island for a little fun and sun. At the end of the trip Kendall surprised my daughter with a cake and we all sang Happy birthday!! Such a wonderful day! We would all highly recommend this excursion when you visit Roatan!

Great tour! The guides were super friendly, getting from port to activities was a breeze with the transportation. The hydrobikes weren’t a super long activity, but we had a lot of laughs and a good time biking on the ester! So easy! The snorkeling guide was great although the snorkeling itself wasn’t spectacular, little cloudy and cool, not a whole lot to see, but not the guides issue. Beach spot was fun way to end out the day. All in all a good day off the boat!

We did the Hydrobike, Reef Snorkel and Beach Break tour off the Norwegian Dawn last week. Our guide, Alex, was excellent - friendly, informative, focused on how we wanted to spend our time, and very mindful of timing so that we were never worried about our return to the ship, The Hydrobiking was fun and very easy to master and took place in a beautiful bay setting - a really cool experience and we even got a little exercise. The reef snorkel portion was outstanding - we had a guided drift snorkel over a beautiful part of the reef with a dramatic drop off that was really amazing to see. Saw amazing fish and coral formations. After snorkeling we were dropped off at Grady's Key - a beautiful, uncrowded spot with loungers, great service and good food and drinks. The communication, directions, and follow up from the tour operator was outstanding. Recommend this excursion, as it was the highlight of our trip.

I can’t say enough good things about this excursion! First our driver Victor was awesome. My bf forgot his water shoes but he tried to make 2 stops for us along the way but no stores were open or had the water shoes. So he dropped us off at the hydrobikes, rode back to port and bought a pair at the port shops which we appreciated so much. All of our guides were awesome. We had Josh guide us on the hydrobikes and then we had Lawrence for snorkeling. This was my first time snorkeling and I was so terrified of being in the open ocean but the group we were with (they had snorkeled many times before) and our guide Lawrence made me ease up. They then dropped us off at Brady cay which is such a beautiful beach. We had a really really great time. Honduras is one of our favorite places for sure!

Mark was a great communicator and confirmed our ship and its arrival time a few days prior through Whatsapp. He lead us to a car with our driver Alex who took us on a short drive to the hydrobikes dock. Josh took us around on the hydrobikes showing us all kinds of things- was a really cool way to explore the water around the bay and little French key. Then we headed back to the snorkel shed and got geared up. Jordan and Maui took us out on a boat and Maui hopped in the water with us and guided us along/showed us interesting sea life etc. We were dropped off at Brady's Cay Beach after a short time snorkeling. The service was outstanding at the beach club and the water was beautiful. I was a bit upset as we had hoped to snorkel longer and messaged Mark asking if he normally only allows a certain time for that part of the tour. He said he would make it up to me and sent Alex to the beach club to get us back to the snorkeling boats at a time I chose. We were then taken back out with Jordan and Maui and this time we snorkeled a few different places on the reef. Maui was awesome showing us some very cool things and it really made the day for us getting to see so much more. I really appreciated how Mark wanted to make us happy and made great strides to do so. We rode back with Alex exactly at the time he said he would meet us and got us back to the cruise port. We then checked out the beach right next to the ship by the chairlifts (which was free and beautiful) if you need to kill an hour or so like we did! We got some great video and pics-our 13 & 15 yr old loved it too!!

We had the absolute best time. The snorkeling was the best we have ever done, the water was so clear and we saw star fish, lobsters, sting ray and the coral reef was beautiful. The hydro bikes were fun and easier than we expected. We had everyone from 10-65. Brady caye was so fun. We snorkled some more and rented a paddle board for 10$ it kept the kids entertained while the adults relaxed. The boys voted this the best excursion we have ever done!

This was our best excursion by far! We went in low season and booked this last minute after Hurricane Melissa re routed our entire cruise itinerary and we are so glad we did. The company gave very clear directions on how and where to meet our guide. Alexander picked us up and drove us about 15 minutes away to Roatan Hydrobikes. It was just my partner and I on the schedule that morning and Josh gave us a lovely private tour. It was supposed to be rainy and windy but it was utterly perfect. Next, we went out snorkeling where we were joined by one other family but it was still an intimate experience. After about 40 mins of snorkeling with Lawrence, we were then dropped off at Brady’s Cay where we spent the afternoon relaxing, napping, swimming, eating and drinking on a private beach with very attentive servers. The food was priced for tourists and the menu was not extensive but it was delicious. We didn’t have to be back on board our ship until 6pm and Alexander let us choose what time we wanted to be picked up. We chose 3:30 to have a little bit of time to walk around back in port before getting on the ship and it was perfect timing. Book it now, just do it.

The day started out very rainy. We hoped it wouldn’t ruin our plans. It did not! Alex was the best tour guide. A truly good guy.. He was waiting for us at the pickup point. He assured us we could continue despite the rain. First was the hydro-bikes. What a fun experience and way to see the area from a different perspective. Next was snorkeling, and despite the weather, we were able to see the reef and all it had to offer. Our guides were great. We ended the day at the French Key beach. It was a lovely lunch and the weather cleared. Try the Monkey Lala. No regrets. After lunch, Alex was waiting to take us back to the port. 12/10 day. Roatan we loved you. Thanks for a memorable day, Alex!

We booked this excursion based on the reviews, and it did not disappoint. This was without a doubt the best thing we've ever done in Honduras, and one of our favorite excursions ever. The pre-cruise communication was perfect, the meeting point was easy, and we had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves. Tyler met us at the cruise terminal and drove us to the resort. He was extremely friendly and gave us some history of the island. At the resort, we were surprised to find that we were the only people to book that day - essentially giving us a private tour. Josh led us out on the hydrobikes, which were easy to drive and incredibly fun. I had surgery to repair my fully ruptured Achilles 20 weeks ago and had no trouble pedaling the bikes at full speed. After biking, we returned to the dock and were taken out on a boat to snorkel on the reef. Saul and Jordan were excellent guides, and Saul was able to show us all sorts of marine life. They were very patient with me, as I don't swim as well as my wife does. After snorkeling, we were dropped off at the private island of Brady's Cay. The beach was quiet with few people, with gorgeous views and lounge chairs with umbrellas. We had a drink and a snack at very reasonable prices with exceptional service. Tyler met us at the island and escorted us back to the resort to drive back to the peer with plenty of time to spare. Overall, this was a perfect day and the drivers and guides were exceptional. If you're visiting Roatan and don't want to spend the day with crazy crowds, this excursion is perfect. Book it with confidence!

We were picked up by a staff/family member, Larry, who was a wonderful, informative tour guide. We stopped at a beautiful animal park and got some great photos as we fed the sweet sloth hibiscus flowers and some sunflower seeds to the frisky monkeys and gorgeous macaws. We continued our tour to the Hydrobikes portion of our day. The owner/operator, Mark Bodden, was wonderful! We truly enjoyed our extensive time on the bikes, peddling around Fantasy Island Resort (a place I stayed at many years ago!), as well as over to French Cay, another beautiful area. We even saw a stingray glide under us on our bikes! The hydrobikes are easy to peddle and a fun way to get some above-the-water exercise while on the water! Mark was a wonderful, informative guide as well. Due to having a significant sunburn from the previous days snorkeling tour, we declined the boat/snorkeling part of the tour as well as the beach time at French Cay. I have no doubt they would have been enjoyable as well! On our return trip to our resort, Larry was kind enough to stop at a local Chocolate Factory store where we purchased locally made cocoa butter at his recommendation for my sunburn. (Tip: it is amazing and helped me feel so much better quickly!!) I truly believe this tour is well worth the cost with so many multiple things included! Great time and Mark even took pics of us and sent them to us!
