I had researched online for private shuttles, and found Guatego had very good reviews. Communication with them was excellent, and I was able to make bookings online. And I also had to make a correction to one of my bookings. They took care of that with no trouble. Our bookings were for February 2nd, 6th, and 16th. GUA to Antigua, Antigua to GUA, and finally, another Antigua to GUA trip. If I had a question or concern, I would email them, and they would respond in short order. Very impressive! I had quite a bit of communication with Alejandra, and Fatima. Both were so nice, and very reassuring. Our drivers were very personable, very professional, and very good drivers. We had Fernando as our driver for 2 of the trips, and Edgar took care of us 1 time. We had such a positive experience start to finish. I would absolutely use them again if at all possible.

Kevin es un conductor profesional y muy amable. Incluso le pedí cargar mi teléfono y me facilitó un cable. En definitiva, volvería a contratarlos si vuelvo a Guatemala. . It was an amazing experience. I had some confusion with the reservation date and they solved the problem for me right away, even though it was last minute. The trip was quick and comfortable. Kevin is a professional and very kind driver. I even asked him to charge my phone and he provided a cable for me. All in all, I would hire them again if I return to Guatemala.

This company is probably one of the worst in Guatemala. We booked our transport from Guatemala City to Ciudad Antigua, however they never showed up. We asked for the ETA several times, they always answered "transport is on its way". This company is very strict when it comes to the customer been on time at the pickup place. After more than 3 hours of waiting for the transport, we booked with the Idrive app which is about half the price of Guatego. We cancelled Guatego, and asked for a refund, we even offered to take 50% of the refund, they denied it. I called my credit card company and initiated a claim for services not rendered, I was awarded 100% of the monies paid.

Please heath my warning, do not book with this company lack of communication and safety of customers. We arrived on time, we took off amd started going through random streets. After and hour of driving around the driver headed back to the airport to pick up a customer who was an hour late. When I address my concerns I received no response. They also changed my pick up location and notified me less than an hour before scheduled transportation.

They helped me since there was a road closed and I couldn't get on time to pick up point, they arranged the pick up on a different place. Recommended.

I used to really like the service when I first started using it. Now, they ask you to either be ready 30 minutes before your shuttle departure time, to take an Uber to a different location, or both. They advertise door to door service but in reality it’s FAR FROM IT. If I schedule an 11am shuttle (knowing I’ll need to transfer from my airbnb to the Westin by 10:30), I don’t expect to get a text saying can you come to the airport instead and be there by 10:30. Then the dispatcher is blowing up my phone asking if I’m there and it’s only 10:40. On my return to Guatemala City they ask me to be ready 15 mins early - fine - but I’ve now been waiting outside almost an hour. And all of a sudden they don’t drop off in Zone 4, only at one hotel in that area. I’ve def been dropped off at my airbnb in zone 4 by this vendor before. Service is going down hill, I hope someone else starts a shared shuttle so there are other door to door options.

Please we would like to mention some points: The first one is that the date of your trip there was an a run going through the street of your hotel, so the driver was not able to come there and that's why they asked to kindly come to a different location. All the suppliers located on the website offer pick up/drop off at hotels as long as your place is located on their coverage area, otherwise, they will look for the closest point, specially when your service is a shared one! Our service is to make sure clients that booked through the website can make it when there are unexpected situations. Or try to help finding another solution! Our agents just wrote you a couple of times to verify and keep the supplier informed to make you time to arrive as they know it was unexpected. We are sad to hear that our help was enough but like mentioned at the begining your feedback helps us and the suppliers you chose for your trip will be informed about it! :)

I used GuateGo on my trip to Guatemala and Belize, booking more than ten trips and I must say that I am extremely satisfied with the service provided. I really appreciated the possibility to buy transfers through a WA number, making the relationship comfortable and fast and the operators were kind and efficient. The shuttle was 30 to 45 minutes late and I was not able to get in touch with the company to find out what was going on. A taxi cab driver was able to get in touch with Atitran which seems to be the sub contracted company and found out they had been stuck in traffic and were 5 minutes away. When they arrived everything was good from there.
