Gerry was there on our arrival. Took care of all of our bags(there were 4 of us) with a smile. He waited very patiently while we shopped for groceries. Upon arrival to our village he helped us with our bags again. He talked to us about island life and the safest areas. He made the trip delightful. He is a great asset for your company!

The pickup from the airport port was great, however this was “Roatan Round Trip Shuttle “ and no arrangements have been made to return us to the airport.

It still is round trip transportation. You entered your departure date as March 23rd in your own voucher. If your departure date changed, simply amend your voucher and Viator will update us or you could notify us directly. You decided to make "other arrangements" as you put it. Safe travels home!

We had Detour take care of our ground transport for a few excursions during our week long stay. Jason, in the office set us up with great experiences and was prompt to respond to additional questions and requests. Jerry, our driver was THE BEST. He drove us all over, and shared his love for this place he's called home his whole life. Our experience of Roatan was so much richer because of our time with him. We will definitely call on Detour Roatan the next time we visit.

So a little unsure about how to review this. The transfer was all good, was able to meet the driver, as expected, within a reasonable time frame. Having said that, it would have been nice to know that when leaving Roatan via the airport that you first need to be processed at the immigration office which is not at the airport itself. Thankfully I left plenty of time, but it cost me double as I then had to take a taxi from the airport, to the office, and back. I guess it should have been on me to know that, but would have been nice had the driver or transfer company verified with me prior to dropping me off.

You arrived via a cruise ship and departed on an international flight, of course you had to be cleared by immigration. A simple google search could have confirmed this for you or asking the immigration staff on your cruise ship or at the Mahogany Bay cruise terminal. It is not the driver's responsibility to know your immigration status even though they would have been happy to help had you asked them. Thank you!

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! From the time Adrian(the owner) picked us up at the airport, thur the 7 days of my stay he was there for us! He was cheaper than the service the hotel would of provided. So book your transfers and trips around the island with him. FYI , The taxis are nasty and small so use Roatan Airport Shuttle and Transport FOR ALL YOUR HERE AND THERE NEEDS! Let me add this ,this guy was great. ADRIAN and his daughter DIANE run the business and they were always on time, were reliable,are very trustworthy, and best of all,were dependable! Scheduled a transfer from the airport to our rental. Communication was top notch, and Alex, our driver, was waiting for us when we arrived — even though our flight had been delayed. Alex shared plenty of his local knowledge as he skillfully navigated the narrow streets and delivered us safely to our destination. Highly recommend!

I have used detour roatan twice now for airport transfers. both times went very smoothly with drivers on time and punctual. Even though both times my arrival times changed due to airline delays they owner jason stayed in constant communication with me. One driver waited at the airport for me for almost 4 hours. On my last transfer I actually met the Owner, Mr. Jason Warren who picked me up personally. Really great special service, and they are cheaper than airport taxi's. And according to Mr. Warren, the next time i go i can pay with $BTC!!!

I research endlessly when I travel to ensure my trips are the best they can be. I was too busy with work & couldn’t put as much time into my trip this year & decided to go with Jason at Detour Roatan. I could not have been more pleased with my experience. I told Jason what I was interested in doing & he arranged everything with his trusted vendors. I had a massage at the villa, a tour of the east end & a sunset catamaran tour and all of them were 5 star experiences. Save yourself time & frustration & contact Jason for a no fail excursion.
