We booked our excursion online and did our excursion independently from our cruise ship. This excursion offered more than what our cruise offered! We did horseback riding, the sloth and monkey zoo, and snorkeling. We were supposed to have some on the beach but that did not happen. We loved that we were the only ones on our excursion! One downside is the transportation vehicles are old and dirty. Our vehicle initially would not start and they had to jump it to get it started. We also did not have air conditioning.

We got a little late start, but the locals helped to get us back on track with our tour. We had an amazingly full tour including horse riding along the water, snorkeling in a beautiful reef, and playing with monkeys and the SLOTH!!! The tour included beach time but we were too tired after all that and they graciously took us back to port early. I would definitely book this tour again.

It was a little rocky at first meeting up with our guide, but nothing that was complicated. We were able to sort it out with one phone call. Other than that our experience was amazing. We had a private tour with our driver and guide. His name is Hayman and we absolutely love him. He was very personable and friendly and professional and just very overall accommodating. He went with us everywhere we went and waited for us and just was overall amazing would highly highly recommend him!! The overall excursion was also very enjoyable and recommended. The other guides and people involved with the horseback riding and the snorkeling were also amazing!.👍🙂

Our tour (horseback, sloth, snorkeling) was extremely rushed. Our driver drove like a bat out of hell (at times my cousin closed her eyes). We didn’t get a minute of time to enjoy where we went riding (along the east shore). The ride was lovely, our ride guide - fantastic but were rushed immediately back into car. Waited an hour for driver to return from and errand before we went snokrleing (driver had bathing suits in her car). Overall, i would not recommend if one wants to a slower tour and time to enjoy.

9 year old first time on a horse solo and it was great! Down a dirt road and into the water also. The sloth, birds and monkeys were so fun! The snorkels was so clear and pretty. John our driver was great! We booked through travel agent and it was great to skip the carnival lines. Admissions fees incudes in the price It was a good 4 ish hours with the traveling between.

Roatán, Honduras was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. What truly made the trip exceptional was our tour guide, Borry. He was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the island, sharing so much history and insight at every stop along the way. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does, and it made the entire experience more meaningful and engaging. Each stop we made offered something unique and memorable. The horseback riding was peaceful and scenic, the snorkeling was incredible, with marine life and clear water that made it easy to appreciate the reef. And the beach was perfect. Overall, this was an amazing experience, and a big part of that was thanks to our tour guides expertise. If you’re planning a trip to Roatán, I highly recommend taking this guided tour!

This is a small family business. I think they were trying to get too many people to too many places. They were late picking us up and when we got to the horses, they weren't expecting us it didn't seem like. They did work us in but was quite a wait, too. The monkey/sloth part was good. Only complaint there was the pictures. They said there would be 100s of pictures but dozens of them were the same pic. I appreciated their effort. Driver was pleasant and we were glad to be able to help the family out. Grandsons enjoyed the horses, monkeys, macaws, sloths, etc.

Borro and our diver took really good care of us! They were there waiting for us when we arrived. He gave us a lot of information about Roatan. We were able to ride horses, spend our own individual time with the animals, and take a private snorkel tour. Borro often checked on us and made sure we were having a good experience! They didn’t waste any time. It was one of our best excursions ever! We had bathrooms to change for snorkeling. We were also able to leave a bag in the van during horseback riding and during the animal adventure.

We had an amazing day today on our excursion. The guide (Adeliera? Forgot how to spell her name..but she drive a grey Kia car) was there to meet us at Gate 1. She made sure we chose a route that would get us fast tracked in the lines at the different stops. She worked with the different companies when we arrived to make sure we were taken care of. She suggested a restaurant when we told her we wanted more local cuisine. She even called ahead and they had our food ready when we arrived. Definitely recommend!

Ours took excellent care of us for the entire duration and even showed Us a few things extra. The sloths & horseback rides were a favorite for the kids, we also enjoyed the snorkeling and relaxing on the beach. I highly recommend giving this excursion a try.

The reason for the 4/5 isn’t a reflection on the tour guides and the people we interacted with. The people were very nice and accommodating. The sloth experience is 10/10, it is a must do. The scuba is 7/10. Very cool but the beach is super tiny and if you stay the food is expensive and not that great (average price for a fish was $30 which is ridiculous). The horse back riding, very disappointing. The people that took us were very nice and super friendly, but where the horse trail leads is undesirable. It takes you through a dirt road filled with trash that ends with an abandoned 35 year house and leads to the water which there is no beach and is filled with trash. I found a needle and tampon in the water and felt like my legs needed to be heavily sanitized. In short summary, the guides were very nice, sloth experience is amazing, scuba is nice, but skip the horseback riding. Next time, if I am ever in Roatan, I will probably just call a cab and go to the sloth experience and then go back on the ship.

We had an AMAZING experience with Roatan Webster Tours on the Horseback Ride, Sloths Park, Snorkel with Beach Break excursion. Honestly, this ended up being one of the best days of our entire cruise! We met our tour guide, Mr. Brown, just outside the Mahogany Bay port, and the meeting spot was super easy to find. It was only a short walk from the ship. Mr. Brown was friendly, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. From the moment we met him, we knew we were in good hands. Our first stop was horseback riding, and it was so much fun! The staff there was great, especially for those of us who were newer riders. They gave clear instructions and made everyone feel comfortable. The trail ride was beautiful, and we even got to ride near the ocean, which was such a cool experience. Next, we went to Jungle Top Animal Park, and WOW. This was hands down one of the highlights of the day. The animals were clean and well cared for, and you could tell they were treated well. The guide at the park genuinely cared about the animals and gave us so much interesting information about each one. It was an amazing experience. After that, we walked across the street to the dock for snorkeling with Dive with Edgar - Roatan, and Edgar was AWESOME. He was funny, engaging, and very safety-focused. The equipment was clean and worked perfectly, and the water was absolutely beautiful. There were so many fish and marine life, and you could see everything so clearly without having to dive deep. It was unreal. Since the day was a bit overcast, our group decided to skip the beach portion and instead went to lunch at Annie’s Boardwalk Cafe, and let me just say… the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD good!!!! Seriously one of the best meals we had on the trip. Mr. Brown stayed with us at every stop and made sure everyone was having fun and doing okay. He even had lunch with us and shared funny stories about life on the island, which made the whole day even better. We made it back to the port with plenty of time to shop before reboarding. There were also local vendors at the animal park, which was a nice bonus. Overall, we had a fantastic time in Roatan and will absolutely return. Huge shout out to Mr. Brown, Edgar, and Annie’s Boardwalk Cafe for making this day unforgettable. I HIGHLY recommend this tour!

The Sloth Park was excellent and the interaction with the monkeys was really memorable. The horseback ride was kind of lame given it was only a slow walking trail ride, and the beach access was less than 100 yards. Also, the amount of trash along the trail was distracting from the natural beauty. Friendly staff at all locations.

3 great excursions in one! 3 great vendors We had a very friendly driver take us to each of the different spots- about 30 min drive between each one. She knew the area very well and was safe but efficient - perfect driver! We were a group of 2 and paired with another group of 2 for most of the day. We started off horseback riding which was easier than expected as the horses were well trained and calm. It was a nice ~30 min ride through some jungle and a quick pass through some water. The sloths and monkeys spot was at AJ’s and everyone there was so great and the monkeys were a hoot, such a blast. Snorkeling was only us 2 and guides and the reef was amazing and we got to swim / explore for about 30 minutes. Each excursion felt perfectly timed not too long not too short and we enjoyed all 3! My only suggestion is to indicate a target arrival time - it was open ended so we arrived way before the other 2 they paired us with and had to wait quite a while which got us off to a slow start in a chaotic area We did not have the chance to eat so would’ve brought a snack for in between- the driver offered to drop us off at a lunch spot at the end though. The car rides may be a bit long for those traveling with kids. We were in a regular 5 seat vehicle with 2 strangers so not the roomiest but it was air conditioned and a nice new vehicle

The horse ride was short but fun. The animal park was also pretty quick but a good time. We held the monkey. The snorkeling was not good. The guy just had us jump off the boat. My mask fogged up despite me-asking for some soap to put in it before we went in. Luckily we knew how to snorkel already but the other people did not. We did not see much, maybe a few fish. I would skip that portion.

The horseback ride is pretty short. The sloths and monkey park was amazing...we got to interact with all of the animals and the people were very friendly. Snorkeling was good - make sure you change to swimsuits after the horses because there's no place to change at the beach! Our driver was so friendly!

So much adventure packed into one excursion!! We booked the “all included tour” … we walked out of port and it was very easy to be directed to the Webster team. (It’s about a 15 minute walk, but you do need to walk over a hill … not hard, but be aware) Javier was our guide for the day. We were in a private car and felt very comfortable leaving our belongings with him as we went from spot to spot. We first visited the sloths and monkeys. The sloths can be touched and fed, but can’t be held any more. The monkeys will jump all over you as soon as you enter the enclosure and they love to steal glasses, hats, etc .. We then drove to one site where we first rode horses thru the rain forest and along the beach for a bit. Horses were gentle and slow, not needing much guidance but still an enjoyable time. We then went across the parking lot to jump on a boat to go snorkel the reef. There were 3 spots … starfish, general reef and drop off, then a ship wreck. Some of the best preserved reef we’ve seen… Miguel (our snorkel leader) was able to locate lobster, puffers and an eel! ( tons of fish and beautiful coral) Equipment was provided if you don’t bring your own. We finished the day with time at the beach … our tour didnt include lunch, but it was available for purchase and it all smelled good. There are restrooms and fresh water showers available. Be prepared that each stop gives an opportunity to tip that segments guide … and of course tipping the primary driver would be expected. The ships excursions don’t offer this much included, and with Webster we didn’t share our tour with 30+ people of differing physical capabilities.

Excellent guide. The issue was the traffic going to Horseback riding which took time and there were several large groups already waiting their turn to ride. Ship had to Tender into port. So, between traffic, tender and waiting for riding turn, these issues reduced time of touring.

I booked this tour with a high expectation for the horseback riding adventure since my husband and son really wanted to do it specially the riding in the water part. Overall the experience did not even lasted 40 minutes. After the horseback riding we went to the sloth park. It was our first time seeing them and they only had one available and was sleeping. In addition to that we did not even get our beach break. The tour guide, Borry, and the workers at the horse park specially David, were really nice.

We booked the experience because my daughter really wanted to do the horse back riding on the beach. It was a little disappointing because we barely went of the water. The only good thing was the workers were phenomenal one of them his name was Bingo and the other young man I forgot his name. They made our experience a very good one. Then at the sanctuary the kids love the experience with the monkeys, sloths and guinea pigs. The only thing that I didnt like and I find it misleading was that it said with beach time and when we asked the driver he said that was not included and if we wanted that we needed to paid extra $20 per person. They girls really wanted to do it so we paid the entrance of which end up being an extra $80 for all 4 of us. The beach was beautiful and clean just that the food and drinks we super expensive and we wrapped out a bill of $183 for 3 fried fishes, 1 shrimp Alfredo and 2 mango juices. The driver was very nice and helpful every time we asked him about stuff. Honduras is a beautiful place to visit I will just be careful when you reading the excursions and what you getting.

Best excursion of my entire trip! Roatan is beautiful. It was my first cruise so I was nervous but it was very easy to find the pick up from my port. The directions were very detailed and accurate. Larry with Webster Tours was fantastic! I will def seek out HIS company specifically when we come back. I didn’t realize he was a guide for just us and that was so awesome. He picked us up in a comfy van with air conditioning and drove us to our destinations. He answered all our questions and told us about his home. He took us to the sloth park. They have monkeys and macaws too. They offered pictures for us 2 for just 20$! I got over 150 amazing high quality pictures that were amazing! He then took us to a beach club where we did the horseback riding and snorkeling. The horses were healthy and well taken care of. People have to remember their horses aren’t as thick as American horses because it’s hot and they do a lot of exercising but ribs weren’t showing and their coats were shiny. The saddles were a little uncomfy as they were just basic and they couldn’t adjust the stirups (I’m tall so it was kinda uncomfortable) but it was a nice leisurely slow stroll. The snorkeling was the best I’ve ever done and that includes Belize which is suppose to be the prettiest. I saw at least 30 different fish and such beautiful coral. Diving at the shipwreck was really cool. The snorkel/club tour people were great in the water. They let us go at our own pace, investigate what we wanted with so much time to look. We used carnival ships in Belize and were very rushed. I would love to come back to this spot just for this snorkel experience!!! The club was nice, I wouldn’t get in the water at the shore as the seaweed and rocks don’t seem like it would be great. I loved they gave you a locker that you could stop by at anytime and they kept up with your key. I would give LARRY with WEBSTER 5 plus stars! I would give the horses a 4.75 just bc of the saddles and the snorkeling a 5plus! The sloths were a 10! (Come on their just so adorable! ) can’t wait to come back

The animal reserve was super fun! Mac was quite helpful to ensure we got up close and personal! The birds, monkeys, and sloths were a highlight!!! Jeni was our guide for the rest of the day…she drove us to the horseback ride and then to the snorkeling adventure! The horses were not too excited to take us but were good sports …our guide was very helpful to be sure that we had a good time. The snorkeling was quite beautiful and the crew took great care of us!! It was good. Our tour driver was apathetic at best. Had a very beat up car and didn’t really engage us much. The horse back riding was fun and our guide was wonderful. The sloth and monkey park was fun, but just about a 20 minute stop. I highly recommend the deep fried lobster at the monkey park. Once again, the guide was great. Snorkeling was really great and our guide was awesome .

This was a fantastic shore excursion. We met up with our driver, Yariela, and had her all to ourselves…just my husband and I. The sloth and monkey park was great. They made sure to allow every visitor to hold a sloth, guinea pig and parrot. The monkey bounced around from person to person, usually on our heads. Staff was great! On to the horseback riding…Marco was our guide and he was also fantastic. The horses were well behaved and easy to ride. Marco made sure we had plenty of photo ops. We had a booked a separate snorkeling excursion the next day, so chose not to snorkel that day, but Yariela did offer to take us.

This was our first stop on our cruise. At the end of our cruise we all agreed this was the best. I booked this excursion through Tripadvisor because the one we wanted on the cruise excursions list was sold out. I am so glad that happened. We did animal park, horseback ride, snorkel, beach and lunch. Coming out of the port was chaotic. Watch out for the hallway of tour operators. You know you are going in the right direction if dozens of people are shouting at you trying to sell you a tour. Finding the exit felt like coming out of a back entrance into an alley. But attendant at the small gate guided us to the tour sign. Our tour ended up being private. Just three of us and our driver, Jenny. She was great, filling us in on local info. She was a problem-solver too! We ran into some issues when we arrived at horse ranch, but she made some calls and made sure we didn’t have to wait too long. (And here lies my only negative: it felt a bit disorganized at times.) Horseback ride was with a small ranch, but Junior, Kyle and Nicholas were helpful and friendly. Horses are smaller than the full size ones we are used to in the states (so not ideal for heavier riders). They were okay. Not malnourished but had some sores on faces that needed attention. My daughter got a stubborn horse that decided to gallop off for a few seconds. But all good. Ended ip being an exciting story to tell. Snorkel was with William of Anderson Tours (and Jake). Again, ended up being just us because other group was taking too long. We snorkeled in Cozumel too, and found Roatan to be much better. The reef that we were taken to just off the beach was bigger and full of sea life. We weren’t crowded like we were in Cozumel. Waters were calm and cool. We could have stayed at the beach and had a bite, but we have beaches at home (and menu at beachside place was Americanized options). So we opted for going back toward port and having lunch at a local place. Fried fresh whole snapper was on the menu. Everyone loved it. Simple place with good food, beer, and they take Visa/MC if you are in a pinch. One thing that other reviewers note too is that you have to keep in mind that Roatan is a smaller type of port town than you find in Mexico or other Caribbean locations. It is not as developed or commercialized as others (aka no Margaritaville in this town). Some call it “poor.” But it provides a great, unspoiled experience. Much of the locals rely on tourism for income. And, unlike the rest of Latin America, a majority of the people speak English due to the island’s history as an English colony. Many people we encountered learned English as their first language. So it makes communicating with locals easier for non-Spanish speakers (that’s not us but I realized quickly that speaking Spanish was not necessary and sometimes complicated communication).

We loved this excursion! Kevin was our guide and he was great. We had a small group, only one other family of 3 with us. There was another family of three to start with but they had a slightly different excursion so they split off quickly. Kevin made sure we always had what we need and found the van when it was time. He got our locker keys for us and updated us on wait times through out. It was a pretty hot day for Honduras and I felt bad for the horses shlepping us around. Bingo and General were great horse guides and the pass was slow and easy. My 7 year old was fine riding a horse solo, but to be fair he has more horse experience than I do with the camps he’s taken. This snorkeling was my favorite of every port I have ever been in and I’ve been to a lot. We were a little off season, going in June so the crowds were at a minimum. Not sure what it’s like during winter when crowds are larger. I do wish they had stools or something for the higher lockers at the horseback riding/snorkeling they are all above a persons head 5’9”/5’10”. My husband was trying to rangle the bags out without being able to see and dropped a steel water bottle on his head, almost knocked a tooth out. But the excursion was great! Worth the money and any wait times at the animal park! Surprised by the guinea pigs but they were a fun memory in the end!

The horses didn’t seem well kept, making them kind a little aggressive. But nothing to be alarmed over. The snorkeling was the highlight of the trip. My teens to my 32 year old sister still haven’t stopped talking about their experience. They have said multiple times they wish it lasted longer. They were on the boat by 1:30pm when they didn’t need to be back until 3:00pm.

We had an AMAZING time on this excursion with our children ages 5-14. Our private driver Skinszor and each of the people we met along the way were fantastic. Despite some initial hesitation on the treatment of the animals, we saw nothing concerning and the animals appeared to be well cared for. The monkey/sloth/birds were super fun to engage with and we didn’t feel crowded since we were by ourselves. The horseback ride was fun and just long enough - yes, there is trash along the shoreline but we could see that there was some effort to clean as there were many trash bags gathered along the road (water bottles galore!). As others mentioned, it was a short ride on a small stretch of beach, the road is mainly what appears to be private for some homes and a church. The horses knew exactly what to do and for our inexperienced riders, was a fun time - I would probably not recommend for experienced riders since it’s a very slow pace. These are a much smaller breed of horse than what we are used to seeing in the U.S. Afterwards, we were taken to Foster’s West Bay resort where we enjoyed the beautiful water before going on a quick snorkeling trip with many fish and coral before enjoying the rest of the time on the beach. Highly recommend the Pineapple Drinks sold by the lady who makes them in the water on a kayak, so delicious and very well priced so we bought many! We didn’t want to leave, we were having such a wonderful time. My children all enjoyed immensely! Highly recommend, it was especially nice to be able to do things at our own pace. We were definitely the envy of our friends and the excursions they chose. Something to note, bring small bills as they won’t exchange larger ones and the local people like crisp bills without any ‘rips’ (even tiny ones where bills have been folded - not something we consider at home), and the ocean water is VERY salty here.

Larry took us around. Had a private car. Our family had a private horseback ride. Larry then took us to the sloth park. Would highly recommend.

We loved Roatan! Our guide Yariela was so helpful. The animals at the sloth sanctuary were lovely. The head of the horse operation was good at working with riders with little or no experience, and took us for a charming view through the area, ending up with a short ride on the beach. He even stopped for pictures by the water. We then went snorkeling through crystal clear water, seeing the coral reef, fish, and so much more. The boat captain Tomas even had snorkels, masks, and fins for those who did not have them. Our day ended up with Yariela guiding us to a beachfront restaurant with lobsters for everyone! This was the best day of our trip!

This excursion was the highlight of our cruise! We were a group of five and had a private car and driver for the day. This was so much better than being herded with a hundred other people from the ship and rushed from place to place. We were able to take our time and really enjoy Roatan! We will definitely book with this company when we return! Special thanks to our driver, Borry, who was great to hang out with and up for anything!
