2.0 Glorified Taxi Service

Tripshepherd promises an "Intimate, guided, small-group tour experience (groups are limited to 7 people)". Our group consisted of my family of 4 and another family of 3. I was under the impression that our group would have a private tour of each attraction. The guide is nothing more than a glorified taxi service, picking up/dropping off your group in a minivan to each destination and handing you tickets for each attraction. You will avoid the ticket lines, but will still have to wait in the same line as the 'general public' for each attraction. Your guide will not be with you throughout the attraction because they have a second group they are "taxiing around" after they drop you off. Our guide gave us a 'pick up' time and told us where he would be parked for each attraction. Tripshepherd is convenient, but not worth the additional price. It was nice not having to purchase tickets for each attraction and having rides set up for the day, but I'm pretty sure many of the attractions we saw were within walking distance. In addition, you may want to spend more or less time at each attraction, but the tour is locked into a schedule since we had to meet our guide at a particular time/place. On the plus side, our guide was very knowledgeable and conversations were interesting. Would I spend the money on this tour again? No.... but, if you have money to burn, don't want to hassle purchasing tickets for each attraction, and want rides set up to each destination, you might find it worthwhile.

We had a wonderful time on our tour with our guide, Frank. He was so friendly, informative, laid back, and over all fun! He kept Mom & Dad company while we were on the hornblower at The Falls as they didn’t go due to health reasons. We had ample time for beautiful pictures from several different viewpoints. Our small group setting was simply the best way to tour Niagara Falls. I strongly recommend this tour, and Frank, our tour guide!!

Our tour guide, Cheryl, was extremely knowledgeable about the area and answered all our questions. Our tour of the falls, and Behind the falls was awesome and Cheryl provided so much information. We learned so much about the Falls. She was so personable and pleasant. Our favorite part was the boat ride, but loved it all!

The tour of the falls at Niagara was excellent. A fantastic day for all the family and a must do if you are visiting the area .
