We took the five plus hour walking tour with Julio and had a fantastic day with this charming gentleman, born and raised in the area. This is our second time in Santiago and this time with our daughter. It was a great way to get a feel for the city and the areas of interest. The pace was great for the 60, 59 and 21 yo group. Warm day with stops in shade, water and snacks provided. We learned the transit system and are using it while here. Very easy, clean and quick. Thank you once again for a great day.

We had a brilliant day with Valentina. She was very knowledgeable and very kind. Our tour was extremely varied and I feel like we really got to know the city. She even went out of her way to help me find the church bells that had been returned to Santiago from my home town in Wales. We found good coffee and tasty snacks. Alessandro met me promptly at my hotel and took a very nice tour through Santiago. I was the only one on the tour. He was not rushed and even extended our tour to the funicular ( not included in my tour originally). His explanations were clear, although I had minor difficulty parsing through his accent, but he was willing to repeat without any impatience. He also frequently asked if I needed clarification. Overall a good tour. Important point is this is a walking tour, and you will be walking for most of 5+ hours and climb a lot of steps. This is the sort of thing I really enjoy, but not for everyone. I personally didn’t require any breaks other than for hydration.

Had a really fun tour with Pablo. His English is great and he’s super friendly. He showed me around the city and shared some interesting history, including stories from the Pinochet era. I got to try some tasty Chilean empanadas and my first pisco sour. Pablo also went out of his way to help me find the specific souvenirs I was looking for to bring home to my family.

The guide, Alesandro, tried his best and I appreciated that. Because I had read about Chilean history before arriving, I was able to connect the dots, so to speak. The only concern I had was not fully understanding or being able to follow due to choppy delivery and heavy English accent, which of course is not his problem. The area where I was supposed to meet was not safe for solo women and created some stress.

Her deep knowledge of Santiago and Chile enabled a good explanation of each point of interest. Wear comfortable footwear as the tour covers a lot of ground. Sofia was an excellent, patient and flexible guide. She was very well informed and a clear communicator who spoke good English. She allowed us to choose where we wanted to go and how long we spent there based on her recommendations and other activities we had planned. In particular, we spent a few hours at the Museo Chileno de Arte Precolumbino (Pre Columbian Art Museum), a must if you are interested in the Indigenous peoples and ancient history of South America. She walked at a pace that suited us which was important in the heat (36o Celsius). We would strongly recommend this tour.

Alassandro was friendly and made sure I was comfortable on our walk! He helped me exchange money, showed me places to avoid, and major architectural points of interest. He also was knowledgeable about Chilean history. I was hoping for some recommendations for good vegetarian or seafood restaurants but didn't get any. The tour also felt a little fast. The description said it was a 5 hour walking tour but we were finished after only 3 hours. If the company knew it was going to be 2 hours shorter than advertised then they shouldn't charge so much. Honestly, I think I should get a 40% refund.

We had a wonderful five hour walking tour with our guide Sofia. She tailored the pace to our ability and was extremely knowledgeable about all of the sites of the City that we visited. She also provided meaningful discussion of Chile's and Santiago's history, culture and political environment at each locale. Be aware - you will walk for the entire tour (we clocked over 6 miles) but it was well worth it.

Diego, took me on a very interest tour of Santiago, from the hill of St Lucia and back to my hotel in 3 hours. It was historical as well as covering the government of today. We went through the old town and saw all the beautiful buildings, which he describe in detail. A very worthwhile experience, and a good way to learn of the importance of Chile.

I was fortunate to have Diego as my guide for this tour. He was knowledgeable and managed to answer all my questions satisfactorily. Along the way he also pointed out areas of interest for future exploration as well as seedier spots to avoid, which was extremely helpful for a solo traveller like I was. Thank you, Diego! The tour itself was a great general introduction to Santiago city. I will say that the exact itinerary will not be that shown in the tour description, but depend on the location of your accommodation. All major landmarks were visited or at least passed by, and an empanada snack (or light brunch, depending on your appetite) was included as well. The pace was just right, and is perfect for those who wants an overview of the city but prefers more personal attention and customisation.
