Very Relaxed pace. Mansar was an excellent and attentive guide. He listened to what we wanted to do and facilitated for us. He was not in a hurry and allowed us to explore at our pace. We enjoyed the Monkeys and sloth park as well as a glass bottom boat tour.

3.0 Things to know before you go

First of all, our driver Big J was wonderful! Very friendly and informative. Would travel with Big J again! Any problems we had I blame entirely on Viator and the misinformation on their website about Roatan Fun Tours. 1. Entrance fee for the Eco stop and the Resort stop is not $15. It is $20 per person IN CASH. $5 difference is not the point (but can be for a family tour). Just get the fee price correct, you know, like no “hidden fees”. 2. The Rum "factory" is not a factory. It is a rum cake store. (The little rum store down the street from us in the States is less expensive). 3. The Chocolate "Factory" had an informative, but brief, presentation of how chocolate is made from cocoa beans. However, in the "factory", two ladies were cutting up price tags, so no demonstration. 4. The Rusty Fish Craft Market was interesting with many signs indicating that everything was locally made and NOT made in China. That is not true. We own a retail store and sell most of the same items there that are indeed made in China. 5. Only thing I would say to the Fun Tours directly – we loved Big J, but please wash your car before picking up passengers. We could barely see out the filthy windows.

3.0 Don’t Book !

Don’t book!!!! Driver, not at pick up location. Had to call him, then was told to walk to the end of the street and take a left which let us into a neighborhood where his car was parked beside a house. Felt like it was unsafe, not picked up in stated location!!! The chocolate & rum “factories” Were a joke! No real factories each were just a place to try to sell tourist their goods. The beach we were taken to was no better !!

My teenage son and I had a great time with Big J . He was super friendly and kept us safe while navigating the island. We hit a couple typical tourist places and saw some of the beautiful island. We hope to return sometime and would love to see Big J again!

4.0 Roatan VIP 4 hour Island tour from the Mahogany Bay.

Jeffery was good to reassured me with answer about time and meeting from the cruise port. Our ship time for arriving was changed the evening prior to arriving in Mahogany bay to an hour later and we had no way of contacting the tour company. We fully expected the tour company would not be there when we arrived. Jeffery was there and paired us up with our driver. Mahogany Bay/Roatan is a small community and options are limited for exploring depending on your interest and amount of time you have to explore. We were not interested in the beach scene or zip lining. We went to Manawakie Park to see the one sloth and the monkeys. This area is very small. The tour guide within the park was very attentive to all, loved the animals and gave us good information. We also went to the Mayak Chocolate and saw the makings of chocolate bars and some shopping. Our tour guide/driver was friendly, knowledgeable and answer our questions about life in Honduras which was interesting. In approx 4 hours we drove around the west and east coast of the lower part of the Island. If we had more time and the admission fee was less we would consider Gumbalimba Park also.

We had an overnight stop in Roatan and had a great 1st day at Southsore Zip Lining and hanging at Mahogany Bay Beach. We were not sure what to do on Day 2 and a friend recommended contacting this company. Jeffrie was quick to respond, professional and communicated well. We had a great day with our driver Big J who took us to Brady's Cay and then a local cuisine lunch at Kelly's. We had Baleadas and great service. We will definitely call Roatan Fun Tours on our next visit!

Excellent. Guillermo did a great job. We got off the boat about 30 minutes early and he was waiting for us. We went to see sloths and monkeys, chocolate factory and the beach. He shared information about Roatan as he drove. Did not rush us anywhere and was available to help us wherever we were. Would definitely book again.

Roatan Fun Tours are the best. The driver was present at the waiting area outside of the terminal. He had an easy recognizable sign. The vehicle was clean and the air conditioning system worked just fine. The driver was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He took us to various locations and waited while we toured. I prefer the private tours verses the larger groups.

Guillermo was our tour guide. He was awesome. He showed us a lot of the island and suggested great things for us to do. Not knowing what we were doing or where to go he helped us and made us feel safe the whole time. Totally worth the money. Plus, he ensured we were back to our cruise ship on time.

Booked a private tour with Rotan Fun Tours this new years. Big J was our tour guide on the trip. He showed us beautiful views on the island at locations exclusive to their tour. He was very friendly and welcoming. Always kept a good fun conversation alive as well as very interesting history of the island. We held monkeys, sloths and a beautiful Macaw bird.
