I did not get to the tour. I was never told the location of the take off point until less than 24 hours of departure.The day before departure, communication was through a third-party and took over 6 hours to get a response. Location was two hours and 15min away and a 4x4 needed. I didn't get a responce for a pick up. Not enough information was presented at booking the trip. Waiting to send information after you can't cancel is robery.

San blas was amazing tour guide was very helpful and Knowledgeable. The tour driver was also great until on the way back from the tour. There was a small fender Bender car accident. But every one was okay. The driving in Panama itself is a little wild. But tour driver made sure no one everyone was okay. Tour was fun!

Great day excursion! Driver and tour guides were excellent! Weather was perfect and the water was pristine! Definitely worth every penny!

We did the tour on 05.01. as a family as a private tour.
The tour was super organized, I contacted the provider the night before and Salim then replied to me.
The tour starts at 5am in the morning (you are awake anyway due to the European time shift) and ends at about 7pm in the evening.
The driver was punctual, very sympathetic, but speaks only Spanish, a bit English. But in Panama there is rather little English spoken anyway, which is why there should be a basic Spanish understanding.
We then had a private boat which took us to the first beach where three chairs were separately under a sunshade! That was great-when you take a tour with others, you sit next to each other on the beach with 20 other tourists.
Afterwards we had lunch on another island, which was quite good. Have eaten better, but you don't go to the San Blas for dinner either, but because of the amazing scenery!
Finally, you drive to the third island, where you walk over it and get told about the lives of the local inhabitants or see how the Guna live there. An interesting insight, the people are friendly, do not impose themselves either.
Afterwards we went back to Panama City in a super 4 by 4 car - a great day!
I should say that the tour was not cheap-in total we paid US$923 as a private tour in threes. But it was always worth it, as you have a private car, a private boat and also sit on the beach separately. Those who prefer to travel as a family and not with all other people should treat themselves to the luxury!

I hope you understand it is not our fault how the road it is to arrive to the islands... this is out of our control. Only local authorities can fix the roads.. 1 star raiting to our tour operator because of the road, it is very unfair.

Yes so, sometimes thing happen. We somehow missed the tour we booked but they were very accommodating and sent us a voucher for a free tour.
Im very much looking forward to it.
