Our tour guide Kaysie was excellent. We started at Ernest Tubb Record Shop that's closing after 74 years. This was my 4th trip to Nashville and I learned so much from Kaysie. She's exceptional. Put on your walking shoes and take the tour.

Kaysie provided a very informative, fun, and interactive tour of downtown Nashville for our family. She showed us so many points of interest, many of which we wouldn't have seen without her, including many little nuggets that probably most locals don't even know about. She was very flexible with her schedule, and even suggested we move our regularly-scheduled date to the following day because of better weather conditions. Kaysie was very enthusiastic, and knowledgeable of the area, and it’s history. She took the time to go into detail about all the different sites, and some of the history associated with them. She has a way to make you feel very comfortable, and by the end you feel like you are with more of a very knowledgeable friend, showing you around, then a tour guide. She also had recommendations of other areas Nashville to visit, and information and tips on what to see at those locations. I would highly recommend doing a walking tour in Nashville to help you get the “lay of the land” in the downtown area, and Kaysie at Famous Footsteps walking tours is the best choice.

Whenever I travel to a new city, I try to do a guided walking tour my first day. Kaysie's Famous Footsteps Tour, which we did in June 2021, did not disappoint. Kaysie is simply a fountain of information and was both engaging and enthusiastic. My wife and I met Kaysie in front of the Tubbs Record Shop right on Broadway, which was only a few blocks away from the Noelle Hotel where we were staying. My adult son, who moved to Nashville just before the pandemic, and his girlfriend also joined us. Kaysie provided us with a a great introduction to Nashville and its history and took the four of us to several places we would have otherwise missed as well as to the more obvious attractions, such as outside the Ryman. The tour ended across from the Country Hall of Fame, which was ideal as we were going to tour that venue next. We enjoyed Kaysie's tour thoroughly and would recommend it to anyone looking for a guided tour of downtown Nashville.

Kaysie was so accommodating for our visit so much that she added a tour to meet our needs based on our arrival and current plans. There was 3 of us but she was able to add on and we had a total of 9! Her excitement and enthusiasm was infectious and she went out of her way to make it fun for all. If you want to have a fun and informative introduction to Nashville's numerous famous (and infamous) locations, then you must do a walking tour with Kaysie Young! Starting at Ernest Tubb's Record Shop, Kaysie immediately began the tour with the history of the historical shop, before leading my wife and I on a fascinating tour around downtown. From the history of the Ryman auditorium and the entire music scene that goes morning to night downtown, to some great eats, drinks, and sweets (such as Jack's BBQ and Savannah's Candy Store and Big Machine Distillery, to name a few), and even the 'Batman' building and others. Kaysie also provided us some great recommendations for additional tours for us to explore on, which we did go on and loved. AND, considering we did this tour during the pandemic, at all times, Kaysie and every place we visited was following Covid-19 protocols, which made it not just a rewarding tour, but safe as well! We highly recommend Kaysie Young and her Nashville Famous Footsteps Guided Walking Tour!

Kaysie was extremely knowledgeable, took us to many interesting places in downtown Nashville. She gave us a recommendation for what turned out to be one of our favor our restaurants (FGLHouse). She was a very engaging and interesting guide. Really personalized the tour to our interests while sticking to her set route. We learned so much! Our tour guide, Kaysie is so passionate about the history of music in her beloved Nashville; she conveys so much of her knowledge is such a lovely and interesting way. Ask for her if you can. She is so committed to her tourists: she wants them to be comfortable as well as have a good time. I felt she was like an old friend by the end of the tour. We couldn't fit in the Johnny Cash museum, but it didn't really matter because Kaysie told us so much about him. She's the real deal!

Sorry I am late with this review. Well we started off the tour in Ernest Tubbs store which was cool in itself. We met Kaysie and we both fell in love with her. Such energy. So much information. Very Knowledgeable in Nashville history. She has many locations that welcome her in, provide a small break during the tour and also provide samples. She always allowed time for pictures and many questions. Some of the locations we stopped were extremely interesting. Especially the guitars in the bar. I wish we had her tour earlier in the week but she was out of town spreading her joy with others. :) She was very nice to hang out with us afterwards and chat for a little bit. My wife was waiting for her to collect our fee since we did not pay ahead. You would be crazy NOT to take this tour. She is by far one of the nicest people we have ever met.

Kaysie really knows her Nashville stars. Her tour includes a lot of information on the artists of Nashville, past and present. She also has a good knowledge of the famous buildings and has wonderful suggestions on things to do, places to eat for everyone. I thought the tour would be more on the buildings and history of the city and less on the singing stars. However, all considering this tour is very worthwhile and Kaysie is very enthusiastic about her city.

I would HIGHLY recommend this tour for anyone visiting Nashville. Kaysie was our tour guide and she was just wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and her enthusiasm for everything Nashville was contagious. We learned so much from her and it was just a fun tour. We did the downtown Nashville walking tour with Kaysie on a recent trip. She was great. Started in the Ernest Tubb Record Shop on Broadway, which is itself very historic and continued on from there. The thing about Kaysie is that she is a bottomless well of information about the sights of Nashville and is able to point out many details we would likely have missed if we just walked by ourselves. For example, there is a guitar on the wall in Legends Bar on Broadway which is personally signed by Elvis. The signature is high up on the fret near the tuning pegs and easy to miss if you don't know it's there - but Kaysie does. She is engaging and full of energy. Take her tour if you possibly can.

We took THE EXPERIENCE NASHVILLE TOUR Friday, August 10. We met Kaysie at the Ernest Tubb's Record Store. It was a dreary, rainy day. The rain did not dampen Kaysie's enthusiasm, though. Kaysie is very energetic and knowledgeable about the city she loves, Nashville. She toured us through many stores, bars and restaurants and highlighted the interesting history of each. I would recommend the tour to anyone whether it's your first time in Nashville or one of many trips there.

We took the Famous Footsteps 2-hour walking tour with Kaysie and loved it! Even though the weather wasn't the best the tour was a blast and had enough indoor and outdoor sites. You learn about the history of the town, the musicians that lived there, and get to see all the key sites & bars. Kaysie's stories are super fun! Our group of 4 booked a walking tour with Kaysie and we all agreed that she was exuberant and an enthusiastic fan of her adopted town. First, we met in the Ernest Tubb record shop which I probably would not have wandered into on my own. This is no ordinary record store, but more a museum of must see photo's and memorabilia. Next, we walked past the honky tonks on Broadway with Kaysie mentioning interesting facts about performers and then we stopped inside one of the honky tonks (where Keith Urban was discovered) and Kaysie pointed out and told stories about the guitars and photos on the wall and the juke box collection. Back outside we stopped in front of the Ryman Theater, walked to the sidewalk walk of fame, past the Schermerhorn Theater got samples of fudge, gelato and pralines, heard many anecdotes, got recommendations of what other attractions to go into, plus good places to eat. All in all, this was an excellent tour and Kaysie is a fabulous guide.
