5.0 An amazing day out!

Pacha_S, June 2026

What a great beautiful day! Everything went smoothly from pickup and drop off. The lunch and wine were amazing too! The guides and driver were also absolutely amazing! Thank you! The hike itself was easy to moderate.

5.0 A great experience

Ontheflipflops, June 2026

We had a wonderful day. Our tour guides Andres, Camilla and Martin were great with interesting facts to share. Our tour was very informative, beautiful and we felt very welcomed. We would highly recommend this day tour.

5.0 Volcano hike in the Andes

Sue_B, June 2026

Highly recommend, best day out, the views, lunch, picnic with wine and cheese, Andre’s made the day memorable.

5.0 Do it!!

92steffic, June 2026

I would totally recommend this trip! Everything from pick-up till drop-off went smoothly. Andres and Camilla were amazing guides and the group was also great - it felt like going on a trip with friends! Since we were quite fast, we even extended the tour to about 10k. Andres taught us a lot about the geography and other specifics of the region. We didn't see many animals since all had been brought down because of an announced blizzard in the following week but we DID see two condors, which was amazing. I'd totally do it again!

Response from Host, June 2026

Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We're thrilled to hear that you had such a great experience from pick-up to drop-off. It's wonderful to know that Andres and Camilla helped create such a friendly atmosphere and that the group felt more like a group of friends exploring the Andes together. We're also glad you enjoyed the extended hike and had the opportunity to learn more about the geography, history, and unique landscapes of the region. And spotting two condors is always a special highlight — they are truly one of the most iconic symbols of the Andes! Thank you for your flexibility regarding the wildlife sightings, and we're happy that the mountain conditions still provided an unforgettable experience. We truly appreciate your recommendation and would love to welcome you back for another adventure with us in the future. Warm regards, The AndoAndes Team

5.0 Wonderful day trip in the mountains

austint977, May 2026

Fabulous day trip! Andres and Camilla were wonderful guides, both friendly and knowledgeable. Scenery was absolutely stunning and the hike was just the right level of challenging. Highly recommended!

5.0 A perfect day hike outside of Santiago

Benjamin_S, May 2026

We had a great time with our guide Andres as he helped us navigate the paths through the valley. We had ample opportunity to admire the scenery and take in the fresh air. You could tell Andres loves nature and truly enjoys the outdoors. Make sure to bring trekking/hiking shoes as the path is a bit rugged. Also, I recommend thick socks or pants that cover the ankles due to the short thistle shrubs. Not a challenging hike but definitely not a stroll in the park so plan accordingly.

5.0 Great day trip from Santiago de Chile

Steven_M, May 2026

Awesome experience! The views were very beautiful. Andreas the guide was very knowledgeable and nice. Patricia, the other guide was a great support and Poncho is a great driver.

4.0 Good hike close to Santiago

R2694PQninak, May 2026

Good hike close to Santiago. Overall very smooth experience and a good activity if you want to get out of Santiago for the day. Patricia our guide was lovely. Walking pace suitable for all levels.

Response from Host, May 2026

Thank you so much for your review! We’re really happy to hear you enjoyed the hike and had a smooth experience exploring the Andes with us. Patricia will be very happy to know she helped make your day special. One of the things we love most about this experience is that it’s accessible for different fitness levels while still offering incredible mountain scenery just outside Santiago. We truly appreciate you joining us and hope to see you again on another adventure in Chile. AndoAndes Team

5.0 Superb views in the Andes

Q106GVmichaell, May 2026

This place is spectacular and beautiful. In every direction there was a beautiful photo to be taken. If you're looking for a great day in the Andes and you have a day to spare in Santiago come here. Our guides Camilla and Patricia were friendly and helpful. The walk was easy on rocky paths and at a slow relaxed pace - we spent about 5 hours walking the 8k.

Response from Host, May 2026

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed the beauty of the Andes and that the experience gave you so many memorable views and photo opportunities. That’s exactly what we love to share with our guests. It’s also great to know that Camilla and Patricia helped make the day even more enjoyable with their friendly and relaxed approach. The Andes Day Volcano is designed to be a scenic and accessible hike, so we’re glad the pace and experience felt comfortable for you. Thank you again for joining us, and we hope to see you back in Chile for another adventure in the future! Best regards, Rai & AndoAndes Team

5.0 Phenomenal Day in El Cajon del Maipo with tourist guides Patricia and Camila

Brenda B, May 2026

Our hiking trip to El Cajón del Maipo was absolutely incredible, thanks to our phenomenal guides, Patricia and Camila. From start to finish, they brought a vibrant, energetic, and enthusiastic energy that kept the whole group lifted. We spent the day hiking through the stunning mountain range under perfect weather. The scenery was breathtaking, but the hospitality made it unforgettable. Patricia and Camila provided a wonderful lunch with front-row views of the mountains. To wrap up an already perfect day, they, along with our highly skillful driver—set up a beautiful final picnic. We enjoyed delicious appetizers and fantastic Chilean wine while soaking in the views.I highly recommend this tour with Patricia, and Camila. If you are visiting Chile, do not miss out on this experience!

Response from Host, May 2026

5.0 If you enjoy hiking in jaw dropping scenery, this trip is for you👍!

Graeme B, May 2026

If we could give this hiking tour 10 out of 5 we’d do it👍. Andres and Camilla gave us the most beautiful day in the Andes. It is definitely the highlight of our trip! The scenery has to be seen to be believed and what better way than to really get amongst it! Andres chilled vibe and informed knowledge of the environment, flora and fauna were so informative and inclusional. Highly recommend this day trip if you enjoy hiking and stunning scenery!

Response from Host, May 2026

Wow ! 10 out of 5, we’ll happily take that! 😄 Thank you so much for your kind words, it really means a lot to us. We’re so glad to hear this was the highlight of your trip, that’s exactly the kind of experience we hope to create in the Andes. The scenery truly is something special, and we couldn’t agree more, the best way to experience it is by getting right into it on foot. We’ll be sure to pass your lovely feedback on to Andres and Camilla, they’ll be very happy to hear it! Thanks again for joining us and for the recommendation. We hope to see you back in the mountains someday! All the best, AndoAndes Team

5.0 Fantastic experience

X379XLannettew, May 2026

Varied hike on dry rocky paths, through vibrant green pastures, and over glacial streams with a dramatic backdrop of snow-capped mountains with glaciers. Lunch by a stream. We even saw a condor. Our guide Andres was very knowledgeable, informative and helpful - just fantastic. It was a great day. Highly recommended.

Response from Host, May 2026

Thank you so much for this amazing review! We’re really happy to hear you enjoyed the variety of landscapes throughout the hike — from rocky trails to green pastures and glacial streams — it’s exactly what makes this experience so special. And spotting a condor is always a magical bonus! We’ll make sure to pass your kind words along to Andres — he’ll be very glad to hear it. Thanks again for joining us and for the recommendation, it truly means a lot! All the best, AndoAndes Team

5.0 Wonderful walk!

Wonderful! Beautiful tour with experienced driver guides, fun and very inquisitive! Beautiful tour and made safely with plenty of instructions. I will definitely do it again!

5.0 Outstanding experience

Cruiser435509, May 2026

This was a very special day. Andres our guide was wonderful, full of knowledge and fun. It was definitely a very special experience. A steep climb but done slowly allowing us to take in the beautiful surroundings and experience an outstanding atmosphere. Definitely worth doing. Thanks Andres!

5.0 Tour to get to know the Andes from close

anasI9623FR, May 2026

A unique experience of living the Andes in the skin. The start can be a little scary by the steep rise but soon the trail becomes more level and it is possible to appreciate the landscape. I would not recommend for people who have trouble balancing, the stones slip a little and we can slip, but honestly? It is also worth the chance to have lunch on a high stone surrounded by the Andean mountains overlooking San José. We were lucky to see condors who gave a show flying over the group, I want to go back to this tour in the summer to see the difference in the landscape. Important to bring some Chilean money, the "point of support" is the settlement of a pastor and he charges for the use of the bathroom.

Response from Host, May 2026

5.0 Recommended trekking

315mar_abel_nc, May 2026

Excellent your, the vastness of the mountains is amazing. Lunch is correct (Sanguche, banana and cereal bar), on the tour they offer you water and trekking sticks. Very friendly guides (Patrica and Amy)

5.0 Incredible day with incredible guides! <3

Rhianna_D, May 2026

Absolutely incredible day!!!! Ali, our guide, was truly fantastic, with such a beautiful energy that infected us with her enthusiasm, calm and love of Chile. I was nervous about the hike with my asthma, but it was more than fine, and Ali and the team made me feel very safe and welcome. I could not recommend it more, particularly for female solo travellers. I will still be in Chile in July and will be rebooking to see the landscape in Winter.

Response from Host, May 2026

Thank you so much for this beautiful review! We’re truly happy to hear you had such an incredible day with Ally — we’ll be sure to share your kind words with her It means a lot to us that you felt safe, supported, and confident during the hike, especially considering your asthma. Creating a welcoming and secure environment for everyone, including solo travelers, is very important to us. We’d love to have you join us again in July — the Andes in winter are a completely different and magical experience! ❄️

5.0 Great day out in the Andes!

Great trip out with very friendly and knowledgable guides. They pick you up at the hotel, clearly communicate times, provide food, etc. Very well organised

Response from Host, April 2026

It means a lot to know the experience felt well organized and enjoyable from start to finish. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure in the Chilean Andes sometime soon!

5.0 Knowledgeable guides, beautiful hike

esthercheah24, April 2026

Intended to go on Monday but it was pushed to Tuesday due to bad weather. The team was very accommodating and checked if I wanted to proceed or get a refund. They were flexible with pickup as well. Andreas is extremely knowledgeable about the area and geography, and it was wonderful to get to know more about the very interesting and unique ecosystem. Hiking poles, water, and lunch were provided (including vegan options).

Response from Host, April 2026

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review and for your flexibility with the weather change. Safety always comes first in the mountains, so we really appreciate your understanding. We’re very happy to hear you enjoyed the hike and that Andres knowledge about the geography and ecosystem made the experience even more special. It’s great to know you appreciated the flexibility, the included picnic, and the vegan option as well. We hope to have you back for another adventure in the Andes soon!

5.0 A Great Experience on the Trail

daisy_imamoto, April 2026

We had a blast on this trail! Andres and the guides were amazing, super attentive, and one even spoke great Portuguese, which was a fun touch. The hike starts with some tough uphill climbs but levels out and gets much easier. We kept a very light pace to stay with the whole group, including some elderly hikers, and the guides did a great job coordinating everyone and sharing cool local stories along the way. As for the weather in April, don't let the sun fool you, while it’s not freezing cold, the wind is brutal. I wore several layers and kept my base layer on the whole time. Definitely bring a hat and plenty of sunscreen, because that sun is intense! I took so many photos, the scenery is surreal, and we could see the mountain ranges with their snowy peaks. It was truly incredible.

4.0 Tired, but worth it.

AnazildaStauffer, April 2026

The place is beautiful, although it is in a region well consumed by mining. The guide Andres and, especially, the driver Mathias were very attentive and careful with the group, especially with me, who was the slowest. We could have left a little later from Santiago and skipped the first stop, totally unnecessary. The "lunch" is a trail snack, good (remember to reserve room in the backpack for him and for the large water bottle they provide). The best of all was the wine patch, with cheeses, bottles and fruits at the end.

Response from Host, April 2026

5.0 Once in a lifetime experience in the Andes

sowmyab99, April 2026

My partner and I had the most amazing time with Patricia from Ando Andes. We were picked up on the dot around 6:30 AM, a few picks up and we stopped for a coffee. The drive there is so comfortable and beautiful. We reached there and started the hike, they provide hiking sticks. I strongly recommend a jacket and hiking shoes. Patricia took us through and would stop every 250-500m giving us details about the history and terrain. The view is breathtaking as you hike. Mid-way we stopped for a sandwich and cereal bar (which they provide). This hike was slightly challenging but the guide is really helpful. Thank you so much for a once in a lifetime experience. Best for beautiful snowy Mountain View’s and streams We had a crowd size of 6 people and no entry fee to the park. Once you book, everything is included (except the coffee stop). The whole tour took 8 hours.

5.0 Amazing hike with a lovely guide and breathtaking views!

Stephanie_G, April 2026

This was such a great day- our guide, Patricia, was lovely- so kind and informative. The scenery was simply incredible. It was a good solid hike that wasn’t too difficult and they provided walking sticks which were really helpful.

5.0 Great day tour mostly hiking

masood s, April 2026

This was a great day tour. Was picked up from my Airbnb early morning and dropped off again on return. The tour guide Andres explained everything, was very friendly, and excited to take us to the Andes, about two hours mini van trip to Andes. There were about 9 people on the tour all pretty friendly. The scenery is exactly as shown in the picture, with glorious mountains all around and the ones in the background with glaciers. The best thing was there was no other bus tour in the area, we were the only group (except another small group we encountered) on the around 8-9 km moderate hike assuming you are in reasonable physical shape. This was a better experience than I expected in terms of the hike and mountains and I did not mind the 3-4 hour drive (in a clean and spacious van) round trip as it was compensated by hiking in the cool fresh air and great Andes scenery.

Response from Host, April 2026

Thank you so much for your amazing review! We’re really happy to hear that you had such a great experience with us. It’s great to know you enjoyed the full day—from the early pickup to the hike itself—and that Andrés made the journey even more special with his enthusiasm and knowledge of the Andes. One of the things we love most about this route is exactly what you mentioned: the sense of being immersed in the mountains, away from the crowds, with wide open views of glaciers and the Andes all around. It makes the experience feel much more authentic and personal. We also appreciate your comments about the transportation and overall organization—it's something we put a lot of effort into so that our guests can fully enjoy the day. Thanks again for joining us and for taking the time to share your experience. We hope to see you back in Chile for another adventure! Warm regards, Raimundo & AndoAndes Team Chile

5.0 Lovely day in the Andes

778mags, March 2026

Our guides Patricia and Ale were great and had expert driving by Sebastian. Was an easy hike and we kept at a slow pace (which was good because of the altitude). Lovely scenery and lunch was okay.

Response from Host, April 2026

Thanks for sharing your experience! We're glad to hear that Patricia and Ale were great guides and Sebastian handled the driving expertly. Good to know the hike was manageable, especially with the altitude. The scenery sounds like it was a highlight - lovely! And thanks for the feedback on the lunch, we'll pass it along 😊

5.0 Beautiful experience

pauldL8491RD, March 2026

Wonderful experience in breathtaking landscape. The tour guides were personable and knowledgeable. The entire day ran smoothly, from collection at our hotel, journey to the Andes and return to hotel - highly recommend this experience.

Response from Host, March 2026

Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re really happy to hear that you had such a wonderful experience exploring the Andes with us. It means a lot to know that you enjoyed the breathtaking landscapes and that our guides helped make the day both enjoyable and informative. Thank you again for your recommendation — we hope to see you back in Chile for another adventure in the mountains! Warm regards, AndoAndes Team Chile

5.0 Amazing Hiking Opportunity in the Andes

MaryAnn_P, March 2026

Definitely a top day tour from Santiago. Andres was an amazing guide with a love of the Chilean environment and the Andes mountains. He paced the tour with consideration of all participants and kept us entertained with information about the Andes mountains and eco system.

5.0 Challenging hike to a beautiful place.

LouisJ_M, March 2026

I probably had no business attempting an 8K hike, but I didn't really know enough not to go. BUT, in spite of the difficulty for me of the climb of the 1K portion to get to the valley to view the active volcano, the scenery was beautiful, it was a beautiful day, and it was rewarding once arriving to the level valley. The best part of the excursion for me was that, even though I was slow, the guide named Josmir (who stays with the last hiker, which was me), stayed with me the entire hike, and was delightful. She did not try to get me to stay up with the others, instead encouraged me to take my time, enjoy the surroundings, and take it all in. She was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the mountains and her country. She made the experience great. She explained that somedays she leads, but I would hope that if you're a slowpoke, you will have her to stay behind with you.

Response from Host, March 2026

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We truly appreciate your honesty about the challenge of the hike — the Andes Day Volcano is definitely a moderate trek, and that 1K climb can feel demanding, especially if you're not used to hiking at altitude. That said, we’re really happy to hear that you still found it rewarding and were able to enjoy the incredible scenery and that special moment once reaching the valley. What you mention about Josmir means a lot to us. Taking care of every guest, regardless of pace, is a core part of how we operate. Our guides are trained to adapt to each person, and we always make sure that no one feels rushed or left behind. It’s great to hear that she made you feel comfortable, supported, and able to fully enjoy the experience — that’s exactly what we aim for. We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to her, she’ll be very happy to hear this. Thanks again for trusting us with your adventure in the Andes — and for future travelers reading this: going at your own pace is absolutely okay! Warm regards, Rai from AndoAndes Team Chile

4.0 A fun day in the Andes

michaelcN9342CN, March 2026

This was a fun & entertaining day. Our guides & bus driver were very good, knowledgeable & entertaining. The journey to the start of the hike was on a good quality mini bus. Food & drink provided was very good. Whilst I enjoyed the hike, it was a little shorter than I had anticipated and would have liked & expected. Notwithstanding this I would still recommend this as a day out from Santiago.

Response from Host, March 2026

Thank you very much for your review and for spending the day with us! We're really glad to hear you enjoyed the experience, especially our guides, driver, and the food provided. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the hike length. We do specify the approximate distance in our tour description, but we understand expectations can vary, and your comment helps us improve how we communicate the experience. Thanks again for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back for an even longer adventure next time!

5.0 Beautiful hike in the Andes

anfdiva25, March 2026

Really lovely hike. We were lucky that the prior day’s rain in Santiago left a beautiful blanket of snow in the Andes. The tour provides hiking poles to those that want to use them. The hotel pick-up was prompt (a few minutes early). Sebastian was an expert driver and Jasmin was a great guide. I appreciate the little illustrated pamphlet she brought showing the different animals found in the valley. As can happen in tour groups, excessively slow people meant we couldn’t go as far as the tour normally goes, but it didn’t seem we missed out on seeing anything particularly different. It would be nice if the tour could add on an hour at the thermal baths given they are so close. Given the hike just did a loop around the valley, I think you could cut time there or limit the wine and cheese time after the hike. The tour description states that there is a 25-minute warm up hike to a waterfall, but this did not happen, nor was even mentioned. Perhaps the tour description has not been updated to remove this reference. I would not call the included sandwich “gourmet”. The vegetarian option was mayonnaise, wilted lettuce, pickles and olives. Also included with the lunch was a large bottle of water, banana and cereal bar.

5.0 A Must Do Tour!

Nancy_R, March 2026

Great experience! The team is amazing, both guides Camila and Josmin. The scenery is spectacular, for me who needed a little extra time and guidance, Josmin was exceptional, never left my side during the hike! This tour is a must do!

5.0 Beautiful scenery and wonderful guides.

123TravelLife, March 2026

Great experience! I would rate hike a medium difficulty due to the technical path and lack of trail. Lots of rocks and some simple water crossings with some uphill. Quite windy and dusty in parts. Wonderful scenery and saw many condors. A perfect day!! Great guides and accommodation for our dietary requirements for the picnic was nice. Bring breakfast - the stop had no gluten free options.

5.0 Stunning Andes scenery, great pace and fantastic guides

rimankverma, March 2026

This was, without doubt, one of the highlights of my trip to Chile. The hike itself is stunning - proper Andes scenery with incredible views the whole way, and just the right level of challenge. I’m reasonably fit, but hiking at altitude definitely adds something extra, so I really appreciated that the day never felt rushed. We were able to go at our own pace and just take it all in. What really made the experience though were our guides, Josmir and Iris. They were full of energy from start to finish - friendly, funny, engaging and clearly very knowledgeable about the area. They struck the perfect balance of keeping things organised while still making the whole day feel relaxed and enjoyable. You could tell they genuinely love what they do, and that really comes across. The little touches made a big difference too - finishing with a mini picnic in the mountains was a great way to round things off, and even the journey back was memorable with great music and a really nice atmosphere in the group. All in all, a brilliant experience. If you’re in Santiago and considering this trip, I’d highly recommend it - and if you are with Josmir and Iris, you are in for a treat of a day.

5.0 Great hike

Daniel_H, March 2026

We were fortunate enough to have a beautiful, sunny day. The colors rival Rainbow Mountain in Peru. I actually like this better as it has the same minerals-colors but with more running water and diversity of landscape along the trail.

Response from Host, March 2026

Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re really happy to hear you enjoyed the experience and that the landscapes exceeded your expectations. It’s true, the variety of colors, combined with the rivers and ever-changing scenery, makes this area incredibly special and unique. We feel very lucky to explore these mountains every day, and it means a lot to know that you appreciated it in such a meaningful way. Hopefully we’ll see you again for another adventure in the Andes!

5.0 Andres and his team far...

Andres and his team far exceeded our expectations for this trip. Throughout the entire day they were professional, knowledgeable, and patient. Some of us were a little unprepared for the cold weather, and Andres offered our daughter one of his jackets to wear and another individual a pair of his gloves. In addition, the surprise at the end was unexpected and added a great finishing touch to an already amazing trip. Highly recommend this tour!

Hi there Patrick, Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re truly happy to hear that Andrés and the team exceeded your expectations and helped make your day such a memorable experience. It means a lot to us that you noticed the care and attention from the guides—small gestures like lending a jacket or gloves are all part of making sure everyone feels comfortable and can fully enjoy the Andes. And we’re especially glad you enjoyed the surprise at the end… we love finishing the day on a special note ! Thank you again for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back on another adventure with us in the future! Warm regards, Rai AndoAndes Team

5.0 This is the best Andes...

Isabel_G, March 2026

This is the best Andes tour for those looking for an authentic hiking experience all in one day trip - no fluff stops for shopping, just the hike. We saw other hikers only once along the way, a few minutes before our return. The guides couldn't be more friendly and knowledgeable! There is a stop for breakfast after picking up all the hikers (at your expense) and a good lunch and a goodbye wine&cheese included in the fee. They also provide hiking poles.

5.0 Great Hike, not too hard, not too easy

Great hike. The volcano and the valley below were very picturesque. The guides were awesome.

4.0 Nice easy wander

Debbie D, March 2026

Enjoyed the relatively easy hike through the Maripo valley with Andrews and Iris. Lots of information regarding the formations of the Andes, the valley and the area in general. Hike was fairly easy with some areas of a climb, although not difficult. Most of the tour was through meadow area with fresh glacier water streams where you can actually taste the water, that's how fresh it is. A simple lunch of sandwich, banana and cereal bar and a bottle of water was provided with a small wine and cheese etc after the hike. My only negative thought is that the price is steep for what you get. Although it was enjoyable, I do not think it was worth the $150 US we paid per person. That is NOT reflective of our guides, who were lovely and friendly.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re really happy to hear that you enjoyed the hike through the Maipo Valley and that Andrés and Iris made the day enjoyable and informative. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words on to them — they’ll be very glad to hear it. We’re also glad you appreciated the landscapes, the glacier streams, and the opportunity to experience a true Andean valley. It’s something we love sharing with our guests. Regarding your comment about the price, we completely understand that value can be perceived differently by each traveler. Our tours are designed as small-group experiences and include transportation from Santiago, professional guides, park access logistics, lunch, and the coordination required to operate safely in the high Andes. Operating in these remote mountain areas involves significant costs, but our goal is always to provide a safe, personal, and authentic experience rather than a large-scale tour. That said, we truly appreciate your feedback and your perspective. Reviews like yours help us continue improving what we do. Thank you again for joining us in the Andes, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure in the future. Warm regards,

5.0 Excellent communication...

Cynthia_J, March 2026

Excellent communication and execution. Andres, Iris and Matias executed a perfect day in the Andes. My specific dietary requests were perfectly met. In addition to the surroundings on our beautiful hike, Andres shared a lot of information about Chile and most importantly the effect climate change is having on the glaciers.

5.0 Incredible 4-hr hike w/ stunning Mountain View’s

dzarbs, March 2026

Absolutely fantastic day trip! Early morning pick up (6 am) has you on the road for a coffee/to go breakfast stop on the way to Cajon del Maipo. The drive is very scenic through the mountains. Hike is a 30 minute rocky uphill to a gorgeous green plateau (in the summer) with a stunning view of the San Jose Volcano (total time about 4 hrs). We were following a herd of goats the entire way, which was very fun. Our guide, Patrice, was very informative about the landscape and local mining operations. We had an included box lunch by the river before making our back down for a small picnic by the van. Highly recommend this over sitting on a bus all day without being able to go for a long walk if you are more active.

5.0 Exceptional experience!!

Arjun_R, February 2026

My partner and I had the best time in the Andes thanks to this carefully planned, and wonderfully designed hike through the valleys of Andes. Credit goes to Iris and Amy who ensured that everything went according to their plans while also giving us the space and time to enjoy the hike. We also hiked on a beautiful day, hence the views were simply spectacular. Moreover, we didn't find a lot of other hikers possibly due to the time of the year giving it a proper "away from the city noise and crowd" feeling to it. Can't recommend this experience enough!!

5.0 Andes Volcano walk

derekrhodes22, February 2026

We really enjoyed the hike up to the volcano. We could see the volcano and the glaciers in the distance. What I particularly enjoyed was walking into a Green Valley where the goats fed every day.And then walk back down the valley into the rocky area. The guide was brilliant. And when we got to the grassy green area , he quoted Lord of the rings , "welcome to the shire" , it was fantastic.

5.0 Very recommended

lucasgE4378MK, February 2026

Excellent nature trip. We went with Camilla, Martín and Mattias (sorry if I misspelled any names!) and they were superb. Very kind and knowledgeable about the places we went to, and they made sure everyone in our group was taken care of. A very safe 10h trip in a very beautiful part of Chile. 100% recommended!

5.0 Iris and Amy were great...

Elizabeth_S, February 2026

Iris and Amy were great tour guides and willing to take all the pictures you want! The views are stunning! I guarantee you will not regret this tour! Bring a bandana! It gets windy and dusty.

5.0 8 k hike

Kristina K, February 2026

Iris, Amy Marcos and Martin were wonderful guides! We had a wonderful day with lunche in a beautiful spot...very grateful for the poles provided and a great wine and cheese finale!

5.0 Incredible tour that...

Don_A, February 2026

Incredible tour that exceeded my expectations. We had an amazing day and were lucky have a day of warm weather and clear blue skies. Although well organised, the tour still had that "off the beaten path" feeling, as we didn't run into any other tour groups all day, only a couple of other local hikers. A moderate level of fitness is required, especially for the first leg of the hike. But it's all worth it for the stunning scenery. All members of staff were friendly and helpful, but Iris deserves the special mention. She has such a beautiful personality and just radiates good vibes. Such a wonderful person! So thankful for this beautiful day. I will never forget this experience.
