Camilla was very good, it was a really nice way to spend the day hiking and in the hot pools. Everything went well and activity as described. Thanks Camilla!!!!
5.0 Great way to experience the Andes beauty
sabinac686, March 2026
This was an amazing tour! A great escape out of the city and into the beautiful mountains surrounding Santiago. Andres, Iris and Mathias were amazing guides that went above and beyond making sure we were going at a good pace on the hike and teaching us bits of history and culture about Chile. And a lovely way to end the hike at the hotsprings.
5.0 10/10 hike and hot springs excursion!
Carolyn_C, March 2026
Andrés and Iris were great tour guides! Andres is very knowledgeable and was considerate about safety with hiking and hydration. Iris is warm and welcoming. The hike was short, but more vigorous than expected given the altitude. The views were beautiful. We went to the hot springs after the hike and it was not too crowded. It was just the right amount of time to enjoy them.
5.0 Most memorable part of my entire trip
rosst775, February 2026
This was an absolute blast. From the moment I started even thinking about going on the tour to the moment I was dropped back off directly at our hotel we had a top notch experience. Hiking in the Andes was a dream come true for me. The sky was a deeper blue (almost purplr) than id ever seen. After the hustle and bustle of Santiago it was so nice to get away and We didn't see anyone else on trail. Raimundo was a great guy and helped me to learn about Chile, Geology, Glaciers, and the Andes. I truly enjoyed listening and learning from him. Iris was very friendly and helpful getting us all to the hotsprings and made sure we had a good time. She was wonderful. Our driver got us where we needed to go efficiently and played great music. Please note the road is very bumpy at times but that's all part of the fun. If you are deciding on weather to go or not I say go for it. A trip of a lifetime you won't soon forget. My wife and I feel blessed to make memories in this beautiful part of the world.

Thank you so much for this incredible review and for taking the time to share your experience 🙏
We’re truly happy to hear that hiking in the Andes was a dream come true for you and that the day felt special from start to finish. The deep blue skies, the quiet trails, and getting away from the city are exactly what we love about this area, so it means a lot to know it resonated with you both.
It was a real pleasure spending the day with you and sharing a bit about Chile, the geology, glaciers, and the Andes along the way. We’re also very glad to hear your kind words about Iris and our driver — we’ll be sure to pass this along to them. And yes, the bumpy road is definitely part of the authentic Andean adventure!
Thank you for trusting us with such a meaningful experience. We feel lucky to be part of memories like these and would love to welcome you back to the Andes anytime in the future.
Warm regards,

Highly recommend! Laura was a great guide and was one of the highlights for our trip to Santiago
5.0 Hike and Hot Springs - worth it!
David_B, November 2025
It’s a beautiful hike with knowledgeable and friendly guides, stunning views of the Andes, to a beautiful meadow with a stream and natural springs. We saw wildflowers, beautiful high mountains, birds and horses, and they provided a nice packed lunch and water for us too. The max altitude will be about 8200ft, not high enough for altitude sickness, but there were some moderately steep inclines that caused some exertion but they gave lots of breaks and provided hiking poles.
We did the optional hot springs add-on which is was preferred to just the longer hike! It was so relaxing and such a unique experience, the hot springs themselves felt like they were at the end of the earth, nestled on the side of a deep valley. Our guides Elias and Andres made it especially fun. Would 100% do again.

We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the experience—from the stunning Andean scenery and wildlife to the peaceful hot springs and our picnic lunch. It makes us very happy to know that the pace, breaks, hiking poles, and support helped make the hike comfortable and enjoyable.
Elias and Andrés will be very happy to hear your kind words—they truly love what they do and sharing the mountains with travelers like you is always special.
We’re grateful you chose to explore the Andes with us, and we’d be delighted to welcome you back for another adventure whenever you return to Chile.

5.0 An adventure with thermal waters to relax.
Hansvandermeerbrasil, May 2025
We went from Santiago in a common rented car. The road in the last 20 miles is a little ruin, but it doesn't need a 4x4. Just drive slowly and carefully. The experience is unique, taking a bath of hot thermal water, looking at the mountains and snowy valleys, right near you, around. The infrastructure at Baños Colina is really minimal, and rustic, with a collective dressing room for men and women, with cold water in the taps and showers, and there are no wardrobes or cabinets to store your belongings while taking the thermal baths. It's an adventure, but very valid.
5.0 A really nice day in the mountains!
Edward_C, May 2025
This is a great day trip and the highlight of my trip to Santiago. Our guide, Gonzalo, is a seasoned professional who is enthusiastic and knowledgeable and just a lot of fun to hang out with. The mountain scenery is gorgeous and they take great care of their guests. The 4k hike is broken into short, manageable segments with rests and plenty of time to take pictures and enjoy the valley at the base of the volcano. Not easy, but not as hard as some medium difficulty hikes. The second half to the hot spring is unusual, but how often do you get to sit in a pool with water heated by a volcano? It was relaxing, with a number of pools at different temperatures to choose from. At the end of the day somehow Gonzalo arranged a flyover by two condors as we were enjoying snacks to cap the day. The only down side is the van ride is rough between the hike and the springs, but that is unavoidable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who can make the hike. Take note of the guidance provided by the operator to get the most out of your day.
5.0 Andres made this such a special tour!
X2906TNliams, May 2025
It had recently snowed and Andres took us on a beautiful hike in the Andes. He is very knowledgeable and provided a lot of information about the flora, fauna, and the geological features. When we mentioned that we had just gotten engaged he sprung into action and took some professional looking photos for us :) The hot springs were the perfect way to relax after the hike. Thansk for a wonderful day!
5.0 Amazing experience!!!

What an amazing experience!!!
The Matias guide is spectacular and made all the difference! From the explanations, details of the route as to the attention with the group and with the trail!
Tactful and particupative, promoted the integration of the group!
At the end, we had an afternoon of wines and cheese wonder!!
Super recommend!!!

5.0 Perfect mix of hiking in the Andean mountains and relaxation in the natural hot springs!
Isabel M, April 2025
Absolutely fantastic! I had such a great time doing the hike - which had incredible views of San Jose Volcano and the surrounding region. Andrés was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout. At some points in the hike, it was a little rocky although Andrés encouraged us to take our time and kept us safe. We saw lots of wildlife - sheep, dogs, goats, birds (including the Andean condors!). The hotsprings were also such a lovely treat after the hike! We also had the perfect surprise at the end of the trip - although I won’t spoil the surprise for you!!
5.0 Amazing!
Alicia J, April 2025
If I could say this was 100/10 I would! Andres was amazing, he was kind and informative. His passion for Chile, nature and wildlife was so apparent during our whole hike! The hike was pretty easy, we only had about 4k but because our whole group were explorers- he even showed us a secret spot with breathtaking views. The hot springs also blew us out of the water! This was the highlight of
Our trip in Santiago. 10000 would recommend over and over!
5.0 Great day out in the Andes
H4390XYmattw, April 2025
This was a fantastic tour. We had a nice, friendly group of six. Andres, our tour guide was wonderful. He was informative and accommodating. The landscape and scenery during the hike was breathtaking, especially the glacier covered volcano and the southernmost mountain of over 20,000 ft. The natural hot springs was a great way to end the day.
5.0 Fantastic Day Trip

A great day out and fantastic day trip with spectacular views and experiences. Thank you Andres for being such a great and knowledgeable guide! Can only recommend this tour!!
5.0 I can’t recommend enough !
stephaniebO397GL, April 2025
It was so much fun! Andres was amazing. We learned a lot during about Chile, biodiversity, nature and more. Landscapes were wonderful and we have relaxing time at thermal baths to end our day. We recommend this tour 1000%, don’t hesitate to book this tour with Andres.
5.0 Great day out of the city
melllclarke, March 2025
Excellent day out. Well organised and our guide was very knowledgeable about the area, and flexible with our small groups interests. Highly recommended, for getting out of the city and let someone else show you around.
5.0 Wear lots of sunscreen...
Danielle_G, February 2025
Wear lots of sunscreen and be prepared for a hike- but such a great experience! Views were amazing and the tour guide very knowledgeable!
5.0 Excellent loop between volcano hike & hot springs
maureen_r_newman, February 2025
Andreas was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and excited to share fun facts with us. The whole group spoke English, so it was easy to follow along, and Andreas did not need to keep switching languages. I really enjoyed seeing the volcano, though it was far away, before the hot springs. It gave more meaning to why the hot springs exist. The hike was easy with trekking poles, which were provided. The ride to the volcano got rough and bumpy at the end due to the lack of no paved roads, so anyone with motion sickness should come prepared.
5.0 Amazing day to celebrate my 40th birthday
lunarlon, October 2024
Our tour guide Gonzalo was so knowledgeable, kind, friendly and helpful when it comes to questions we asked. He was so helpful especially with my sister who is her first time hiking in this type of activity. We highly recommend him
5.0 The best tour of our trip
LeandroB2534, May 2024
The tour is incredible. The landscapes in the snow are exceptional and exceed any expectations. It's not a place with many tourists so the photos are always great. The day we went, we were the only group going up.
The walk doesn't require that much effort (as we went in the snow it's a little harder, but it's still an easy stretch to access).
Our guide, Andrés, knew absolutely everything about the region and taught us a lot about the places we visited and about all of Chile.
5.0 Invigorating Chilean Hot Springs Experience
cezaru2019, May 2024
During our trip to Chile, my wife and I had the incredible opportunity to visit natural hot springs, and it was an invigorating and unforgettable experience that combined natural beauty with a feeling of deep relaxation.
Natural Wonder:
Chile's hot springs are true natural wonders. These pools of hot water emerge from underground, heated by volcanic activity. Hot water springs from the depths of the volcanoes and joins the porous rocks, creating a unique and fascinating scene. This natural movement causes an effect similar to that of a pressure cooker, resulting in a thermal bath experience that is both exhilarating and relaxing.
Stunning Scenery:
Hot springs are situated in stunning landscapes, often surrounded by mountains and lush vegetation. The contrast between the warm waters and the fresh mountain air creates a magical atmosphere. The rock formations around the pools add a rustic, natural feel, making you feel truly immersed in nature. Each hot spring offers spectacular views that contribute to the feeling of tranquility and well-being.
Relaxing Effect:
Soaking in the hot waters of the hot springs was an incredibly relaxing experience. The water temperature is perfect for relieving muscle tension and providing a feeling of comfort and relaxation. We spent hours enjoying the different pools, each with its own temperature and characteristics. It was wonderful to feel the warm, bubbling water all around us, while hearing the soothing sounds of nature all around us.
Health Benefits:
In addition to relaxation, hot springs are known for their therapeutic benefits. Mineral-rich waters help improve circulation, relieve muscle and joint pain and promote a general feeling of well-being. We left the pools feeling refreshed and energized, ready to continue exploring the beauty of Chile.
Access and Structure:
The hot springs are well-maintained and accessible, with well-equipped changing and rest areas. The facilities are clean and well maintained, ensuring a comfortable experience for all visitors. The staff on site were friendly and helpful, providing information about the properties of the waters and ensuring our visit was enjoyable.
In summary:
Our experience at Chile's hot springs was unforgettable. The combination of stunning scenery, warm, relaxing waters and health benefits made this activity one of the highlights of our trip. We highly recommend everyone to visit these natural wonders for an experience of deep relaxation and connection with nature. Chile's hot springs are a hidden gem that provide moments of peace and revitalization.
5.0 Best tour from Santiago
Amy_L, January 2024
We had a group of 3 with an amazing tour guide who was super knowledgeable about the area. This was my favourite tour from Santiago. The Andes were beautiful and the hotsprings had many temperature options. The snacks and wine at the end were the perfect finish.
5.0 Best tour I took!
Carlos Daniel D, January 2024
Wonderful tour, Francisco and Joaquim were great driving. They accompanied us without rushing and in the end the place was beautiful. For those who are out of shape, the most challenging part is getting to the first break. After there it is much calmer all the way!
5.0 Best tour from Santiago.
cibeleo711, December 2023
It's worth setting aside a day when visiting Santiago to do this walk. The experience of walking through the Andes is unforgettable.
The guides are very attentive and concerned about safety as they have no experience, as was the case with the people who were with me. The guide also provides numerous explanations about the geology and geography of the place. GREAT!
5.0 4k hike to the volcano and hot springs
70connier, December 2023
Our trip to the volcano and hot springs was amazing. From breakfast overlooking the mountains to the short hike to the stream with lunch included, to the soak in the natural mineral springs and wine after, it was all spectacular! The highlight of the trip was our guide Francisco! He was knowledgeable about all the small villages, people, history and wildlife. He was funny and entertaining. Rarely have we taken a tour where the guide checked all the boxes! Great job Francisco!!
5.0 Amazing experience
Jessica F, December 2023
It was the best tour of the entire trip through Chile, the guides Gonzalo and Felipe were extremely careful, attentive and helpful... The landscape is extremely beautiful, it is very worth it.
5.0 Definitely worth it!
AliceC3060, December 2023
This full day tour was a great way to escape the city and get out to the mountains! While the drive was rather long, it is well worth it. There is a shortish hike to a mountain stream - it is rather steep in some places but our awesome guide and driver (Jesus and Philippe) brought us hiking poles! We took plenty of rests on the way, and were told about the history and geology of the area.
Next we drove a little further up the mountain road to the hot springs, which was a really cool thing to get to do. There are multiple pools with increasing temperatures, and you go from coolest to hottest and then take a cold shower to end. I highly recommend this unique experience (unique if you live in the mid-west of the US like I do!)
Jesus and Philippe brought sandwiches for us - accommodating a variety of dietary needs - and a surprise snack for after the hot springs!
I booked this on a whim and am pleased with the value and dedication of our guides.
5.0 Perfect day trip
771eleanak, December 2023
Really enjoyed the beautiful nature and relaxing in the hot springs. Was a perfect day trip to relax after an intense work trip. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgable - he shared many interesting facts about the geology, species native to the area and local culture. Stopping at a scenic spot for wine and snacks was very nice. Very impressed with how good the sandwich we were given was and the van we were transported in was very comfortable.
5.0 Best Tour
Allyson_E, October 2023
The Volcano hike and hot springs tour was memorable! Gonzalo and Francisco were so helpful during the hike in the snow. The views from up top were majestic! The hot springs was the perfect way to end the trip. What made this extra special, was we had the best small group that ended up feeling like a family. We got to know each other well on the ride back to the city.
5.0 Breathing taking sights
Brian K, June 2023
Went late Fall, weather is on the cold side but luckily clear skies. Views were breath taking as we can see snow and ice in the Andes and the rivers we walked by hike was about 4 miles so not too bad with okay level of fitness. Hot springs were also amazing as we went after most other tourists had left. Definitely a great way to finish off the guided tour. Strongly recommend!
4.0 A great day out
Courtney_F, April 2023
The hike and hot springs tours was a day well spent. The drive out to the mountain was quite long and curvy, so I would recommend bringing travel sickness tablets to make the journey more comfortable. The hike itself was incredible. The hot springs was a relaxing way to end the day followed by some snacks before we headed back. Would definitely recommend this tour.
5.0 Fun Day Trip
goumgal, April 2023
We had a fun and active day with our guides Sabastian and Juan. They were knowledgeable and friendly and made for a great time with the other 3 couples on the tour. The hike was beautiful and the hot springs were a great way to relax. They had a great spread of snacks, treats and wine when we returned to the van. Our driver was great as well. Only complaint from the day would be the traffic returning to Santiago but that’s just crazy rush hour and unrelated to the tour. Overall we had a great time.
5.0 A memorable day!!!
ALLAN_D, March 2023
We had an excellent experience with Andoandes tour company. The owner Ando, Juan our guide & Phillipe our driver took care of every detail, they were engaging & informative with all members of our group, also our guides spoke good English. The volcano walk was amazing, views you won't see from the road, the four of us, all around 60 years old, had no problems navigating the trek. At the halfway point, we had a light lunch & had time to explore on our own. We were happy that we did the hike and not just the hot springs. Now the hot springs, another great experience, the six springs start with the coolest temperature at the bottom and increasing with the elevation. We met some very nice Chileans there who were also visiting, there are change rooms, bathrooms & showers. Then Ando had a chacuterie board with red wine & non alcoholic drinks. A great time to talk with them and share our day with all the people on our tour. A shout out to the people from New York City, Minnesota & Florida, we are from the Niagara region in Ontario, Canada. Thumbs up to our driver Phillipe. I strongly recommend this tour with andoandes.cl a day we wont forget.
5.0 Great time!
Andrea_S, February 2023
I had a wonderful time with Gonzalo, Sebastian, and the team at the hike + hot springs. They prioritized safety and fun and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience! Highly recommend.
5.0 Fun in the Andes
tedbro43, February 2023
Beautiful day in the Andes for a hike. Our guide Nico was excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and a great sense of humor. He made sure we were safe as well. Good lunch in a beautiful location and after the hot springs a delicious snack and wine. A wonderful day in Chile!
5.0 The definitive adventure of the Andes in Santiago
Misalima, November 2022
This is our second visit to Chile in 3 years. In 2019, trekking with the Ando Andes was our best experience. Now, again, the visit to the Volcano San José was the highlight of our stay in Santiago. And it's not just a good walk, it's the best walk you can do in Caijon del Maipo. Of all the tour companies we hire and points we visit, Ando Andes is the best. The guides, Gonçalo, Raimundo and Victor are not only fulfilling an agenda, but dive together in the adventure, always bringing new information about culture, history, geography and nature, leading to hidden points of the trail or highlighting points of interest, always with a great mood and attention.
The track requires some physical preparation but, I can guarantee, even when I was out of shape, it was an experience that changed my life. The air is pure, the sky is sapphire blue, the mountains are imposing and to steal the little breath that is left of us from the rise, nature, the rivers and the pure water of the springs are completely worth the time and effort spent on the task.
The first time we did the complete trekking until we touched the volcano (10km), in 2022, we did the trekking to the Engorda Valley and then we went to the delicious thermal spa. There, I recommend the pool number 3 of 6. Above all, the heat is ABSURD. Brave people can try. We went in September, there was snow yet, in November, not.
In short, Ando Andes charges a price slightly above the others, but is worth every weight. Other companies are always owed in some way, in the Andes, not. Everything is impeccable. They offer a delicious and nutritious snack at noon and a pleasant surprise at the end. Now, we will return on another date for the trekking to the glacier! I can't wait!
5.0 Fantastic mid-pandemic experience!
jlamont91, December 2020
We did three tours with Andoandes. A volcano hike and hot springs tour, condor look out and el yeso dam and a winary and horse riding experience. We originally only booked one tour however because of the great experience we decided to book more, which we definitely didn't regret. We travelled during covid 19 and Gonzalo really did save our holiday and made it extremely special and memorable. Gonzalo and Jorge were both fabulous and extremely knowledgable. We learnt a lot about the chilian culture and language. They were also really lovely people and we had great fun during our time with them. Gonzalo is a great photographer and he took pride in capturing excellent photos of the tour and we have some amazing photos to look back on. Gonzalo also went the extra mile as we needed clarifation about our flight due to uncertainty due to flight changes. Gonzalo went out of his way to ring the embassy which was extremely helpful. Overall we enjoyed all of the tours and would highly recommend. We found Gonzalo to be enthusiastic, organised and responsive. He communicated with us well throughout, from booking to after the tours whereby he sent us all the photos he had taken. Don't hestitate to book a tour with Andoandes!

Hello James!! Thank you very much for this tremendous comment.
It was really a pleasure for us to have taken them and that they enjoyed the experience so much that they booked 3 tours with us. It is truly a great honor for us to be able to meet expectations and make your experiences unforgettable moments.
Gonzalo will be happy to receive this comment, like Jorge, he is a great connoisseur of the mountain. For the rest, you do not have to thank the help they gave you with your flight, we are here to help our passengers at all times during their stay in Chile. We really appreciate the good vibes of both of us and we hope that you return to Chile to live new experiences.
A big hug!

5.0 WHAT A TRIP!!
Tupelo010835, March 2020
Cant say enough good about this tour. Hiking in the Andes followed by a really rustic hot springs experience, well, it just doesn't get any better than this.
I can't add anything to the superlatives already expressed but I will add some thoughts about planning.
Read and follow their recommendations on how to dress. Good sturdy hiking shoes/boots are a must. One in our party wore only soft sneakers. He wasn't a happy guy. Bring water shoes for the hot springs. The sides are slippery and the floors of the pools are uneven and sometimes rocky. Bring sunscreen and/or a long sleeve shirt AND a hat.
I can't say enough good about this tour. One or our BEST memories ever.
Highly Recommended

Thanks for your review! We love to know that our passengers had a great time! Thanks for the recommendations to the other ones, a hat, sunscreen and hiking shoes are the most important equipment!

5.0 Best day of the week
878johannak, February 2020
We were informed in time when we would be picked up. Our guides Carlos and Gonzalo were really great! We had breakfast first and then did the 4 km hiking tour. Sandwiches for lunch and sufficient water bottles are provided. That was a really great tour! We are inexperienced hikers, but it is not too hard and consideration is given to everyone. The atmosphere was relaxed and we got a lot of gallant, but also very interesting information. After a break we hiked back again and drove with Carlos to the thermal springs. Oh, hell. There was a simple locker room with showers and toilets. Completely sufficient for the place in the middle of nature. We had a lot of time to taste all the pools and Carlos is also a great photographer by the way:) when we went back we were still eating tapas. That was really an incredible day.
The Price quality ratio was absolutely great. These wonderful impressions we got there are priceless!
Don't be afraid to travel to Chile. You have to take care of your things all over the world. We only had good experiences there. It's a great country with friendly people and you definitely have to see that!

5.0 Exceeded Expectations!
RamonaF541, February 2020
To say that this trip far surpassed all expectations is mildly stating the truth. It began with excellent communication from the company, providing constant contact and directions to begin our adventure. It can be a bit daunting when you are communicating from another country, but I felt confident that there would be no misunderstandings. The command of the English language from the company was perfect. There was group of 10 of us, and we were promptly picked up by Alejandro, Mayara, and Felipe the driver at the designated time. We were provided all details of the excursion and the adventure began! We picked up another guide, Fernanda, along the way. All guides were so fun and engaging from the beginning! The drive was lovely, and the first stop was a wonderful bohemian-style restaurant in the Countryside area where we could buy a reasonably priced breakfast, and refreshments. This was convenient as the tour starts very early in the morning. When we arrived at our destination we were given hiking poles, which were needed. The trail is not hard, it is just very rocky! Hiking boots would be a better choice than tennis shoes or trainers due to the rocky terrain. The landscape was stunning! I would not say the hike was strenuous, but you should be in good shape to traverse the terrain, and deal with the altitude. The total group of 12 of us were awed at the surrounding beauty and landscape. We stopped at the the top and a delicious, hearty sandwich was provided to be eaten by a beautiful rushing river. Our guides - Mayara, Alejandro, and Fernanda were experienced and confident, and were in constant watchfulness ensuring the safety and comfort of the group. After a refreshing break and nourishment, we descended the hike. Then off to the next part of the journey - the Hot Springs! Wow! Pictures did not capture how magnificent the area was! The Hot Springs were relaxing, and it was amazing to sit in the warm waters surrounded by the the beautiful landscape of the area. On the way home we stopped again at that wonderful restaurant, and served some tasty local snacks and wine, compliments of the company. What a magnificent day it was to explore the beauty of the region, and to enjoy the engaging, fun, intelligent and charming company of Mayara, Alejandro, Fernanda, and Felipe. Having traveled all over the world, I can honestly say this trip was high on the list of wonderful things to do in a Country, made extra special by our fantastic guides. Thank you to all at AndoAndes!!

Maya, Elias and Phillip were all absolutely great on the trek, they were really attentive and informative. 5.0 Hike plus hot springs
Denise B, January 2020
This was a small group tour. A full day but not rushed. Stopped prior to hike for last restroom break and for breakfast (optional) or beverage. Picked up lunch there--gourmet sandwich--which was delicious. Stopped and took pics of waterfall. Once at hike place, we were given hiking sticks and bottle of water. Ensure to bring sunscreen. Hike was done at a comfortable place and allowed stops for picture taking. Had lunch by a stream. After, some of group went on for longer hike. Several of us hiked back to vehicle pick-up where we went to the hot springs. Restrooms, changing areas and showers were available at springs. 6 different pools with different temperatures.
Carlos was our driver--he drove safely and carefully which is very important on these roads. Our guides, Pato and Elias were friendly and professional. They willingly took pictures for all of us. They made this excursion enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour with this company. I would definitely rebook other tours with them. They even went out of there way to pick us up out of the zone pick-up area.

We did several excursions in Santiago, this was the best, from the nature and content of the excursion to the Friendly Mood that our guides could create. A highly recommended excursion!

Great day trip to get out of the city and spend time outside with beautiful scenery. Loved all the hiking but it should be noted that the surface is loose and mostly up hill. In addition to bringing your swimsuit and towel for hot spring, you will also need a backpack to carry your lunch and water. They provide these items but you must carry. Well worth the trip and the best guide that is very knowledgeable while also creating a fun atmosphere.

A marvelous single day escape from the city into the mountains. Our guide Gonzálo was a font of information on Chile’s culture, flora & fauna, geology, history, and natural environment protection, delivered with obvious care and passion for the subject. The hike was brief with lots of stops due to the steepness of the terrain. The views are spectacular. The hot Springs are only developed with bathrooms with showers and changing room. This allows intimacy with the earth’s healing energy against a backdrop of snow capped mountains. The meals were simple, nutritious and tasty. All in all, a wonderful way to spend a day.
